Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2599: Chapter 2608: The Disparity in Treatment Is Way Too Large

Meanwhile, at the Lawrence Headquarters on the 7th floor, Assistant Terrence quietly approached the aloof man after sending Wendy Hanson and the others off, leaning over to report something softly beside the tall man.

The cold-faced man furrowed his brow and said expressionlessly, ”I know, we’ll talk about it tomorrow.”

”Alright.” Assistant Terrence immediately backed away a bit from Baron Lawrence, after noticing Enna Clark not far away, and stood respectfully.

The staff led Enna Clark on a brief tour, and she happened to return without seeing the two whispering. She walked directly toward the handsome man, still slightly in disbelief, ”Baron Lawrence, is this the place you found for me?”

Baron Lawrence grabbed her hand, possessively placing it in his palm, holding it tightly. His dark eagle-like eyes gazed at her, asking, ”Don’t like it?”

Enna Clark surveyed the entire office area and shook her head, ”How could that be? I just think this place isn’t quite suitable for Rhine.”

”The location, size, decoration, surrounding environment you wanted, this place fulfills them all. Besides here, can you find another place as suitable?” Baron Lawrence squinted his eyes discontentedly and countered her.

Of course, here is good; if it weren’t, would the Lawrence Headquarters be built here?

But still, no matter how good it is, after all, it is...

”I just can’t find a better place for now, but this is the Lawrence Family’s, what does moving Rhine here count as? It’s too strange.”

”What’s so strange about it? What’s mine is yours. Rhine is yours, and so is the Lawrence Family! You’re just moving into your building, nothing strange about that!”

President Lawrence is really double standard.

So many branch offices under the Lawrence Corporation wanting a spot at the headquarters were excluded due to not meeting his standards.

The Young Madam only wanted to find a new company address for Rhine, and President Lawrence cleared out the entire 7th and 8th floors in the headquarters, afraid she would refuse it.

Such differential treatment is too much.

Sigh, it’s heart-wrenching.

Assistant Terrence dared only to silently criticize in his heart, not daring to speak out. He knew very well that if he dared to leak what he was thinking to Enna Clark, his position as President’s special assistant would be in jeopardy. He might have to pack up and leave.

For the sake of his job, and his high salary, he decided to be a deaf-mute, knowing nothing.

”But... I still don’t think it’s quite right.” Enna Clark was still hesitant.

”Do you have any layout changes you want for the office area?” Baron Lawrence suddenly asked.

Enna Clark, ”...None.” She originally didn’t plan on making any changes because she didn’t intend for Rhine to move in.

If Rhine were to move into the Lawrence Family, what would the Old Master think? What would the other directors think?

She didn’t plan to move in, so she had no changes to propose.

Baron Lawrence’s thoughts were completely different from hers, playing by no conventional rules, straightforwardly instructing Assistant Terrence beside him, ”Add some individual offices and a President’s office to the layout on the 8th floor.”

”Alright, President Lawrence.” Assistant Terrence promptly noted this down, timely asking, ”President Lawrence, what’s the style for the President’s office?”

Without thinking, he replied, ”Design it according to my office’s style!”

Of course, he wanted a couple’s office with Enna Clark.

”Understood.” Assistant Terrence wrote it down and turned to ask Enna Clark, ”Young Madam, do you have any special requests?”
