Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2570: Chapter 2579: Aren’t You Afraid I’ll Get Jealous?

Female stars have to diet to maintain their figure, so all they can rely on is being hungry.

Ugh, it’s hard to make money these days. She’s gained two pounds recently, and if she eats anymore, Sunny will jump up and pinch her ears.

But seeing the table full of delicious and aromatic dishes she made, Olivia Lewis secretly swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

Not to brag, but even though she doesn’t cook often, her cooking skills are way better than that of Enna Clark, and every dish is incredibly tasty.

If she hadn’t chosen to be an actor, she might have made a name for herself as a cook.

Adam Sinclair looked at her amusingly as she stared at the food on the table without blinking, put down his tableware, and softly said, ”What should I do? I can’t eat without company. I guess I’ll just stay hungry.”

”Adam Sinclair, are you kidding me!” That guy dare to play innocent with her after she spent an hour working on this? And he says he won’t eat!

Olivia had the look of someone about to devour him.

The elegant man smiled and gently invited her, ”Why don’t you join me for a meal?”

”...”

”If you join me, maybe I can eat a bit more.”

The next second, it turned into a threat.

”If you don’t want to, then forget it. I can just skip the meal.”

Oh my!

Olivia gritted her teeth and swept her gaze across the mouthwatering dishes on the table, then thought about the plain boiled noodles she had at lunch and her weight. Determined, she said, ”I’ll join!”

Screw her weight, she doesn’t have work right now, so if she doesn’t enjoy herself now, when else will she? Wait until she returns to work full-time?

Even the wise poet said, ”Drink wine today, for who knows where we’ll sleep tomorrow.”

Having made up her mind, she hurriedly grabbed a bowl and chopsticks, eagerly scooped a bowl of rice, and attacked her favorite Mapo Tofu.

Seeing her willing to eat, Adam’s mood improved, and he picked up his bowl and chopsticks to eat again.

One must admit, Olivia’s cooking skills are indeed impressive. Just by looking at her, you’d never believe that someone so delicate-looking could cook such amazing dishes. But in reality, Olivia is quite talented in cooking. As long as she’s tasted a dish once, she can recreate it. He remembers when they first got together, the first night he took her to try foie gras with red wine, and the next day, she surprised him by making the exact same dish at home, and it tasted even better than what they had at the Michelin star restaurant.

So, at first, what seemed to captivate him was probably her cooking skills. And that surprise element.

With Olivia accompanying him, Adam ended up eating quite a bit, and between the two of them, they practically cleared the table of the simple dishes.

When Olivia was finally full, she put down her chopsticks, her stomach rounded. Sprawled on her chair, she unapologetically commanded her benefactor, ”I cooked today, so you do the dishes.”

”OK.” Adam stood up, satisfied from the meal, and got up to clear the tableware.

Listening to the water running in the kitchen, Olivia sprawled on the chair, gazed back at the man’s tall silhouette, and felt a mix of emotions she couldn’t quite describe.

Adam finished washing the dishes quickly.

Olivia also put away her earlier complex expression, returning to her usual self, blinked her eyes, and asked, ”Now can you tell me what’s going on with August Oliver?”

Adam walked up to her, poked her forehead, and said with a sigh, ”You’re always asking about other men. Aren’t you afraid I’ll get jealous?”
