Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2583: Chapter 2592: Go Find Enna Clark

Lena’s nose was crooked with anger, almost ready to pounce on Olivia Lewis, but considering her current situation, she forced herself to hold back. She lashed out, ”Olivia Lewis, just you wait! One day, Adam Sinclair will dump you, and then you’ll get what’s coming to you!”

”Alright, I’ll wait for you.” Olivia replied lazily, not taking Lena’s threat seriously at all.

Lena was so furious that steam nearly erupted from her head. She grabbed her handbag from the washbasin, stomped off in her high heels...

Olivia watched her leave, shrugged her shoulders, ”I really don’t get her. Why does she keep coming back for more even though she loses every time?”

Just as she muttered this to herself, she heard the sound of a toilet flushing behind her, and then Nicole Oliver emerged from inside. Gracefully, she bypassed Olivia to wash her hands at the sink, casually responding, ”Some people just have a death wish, I suppose.”

Olivia hadn’t realized she was there too.

Thinking back on how Nicole had been inside the whole time without coming out, just witnessing their argument, Olivia couldn’t muster any goodwill towards her.

”Oh.” She responded coldly to Nicole and walked inside.

Nicole didn’t expect Olivia, after seeing her ambiguous relationship with August Oliver, to still treat her with that kind of attitude. Her face darkened immediately. She slowly washed her hands, took a deep breath to regain her usual composure, and then gracefully walked out.

Never mind, as long as August Oliver was the new acting president, she was the victor.

She would have plenty of opportunities to witness them bowing down to her.

...

After leaving Celestial Entertainment, Olivia Lewis headed straight to Birch Garden.

Only Enna Clark and Scott Harris were at Birch Garden. Enna initially had things to do, but Olivia abruptly closed her laptop and dragged her to the living room.

”Ms. Lewis’s Blue Mountain, Young Madam’s plain water.” Scott respectfully placed the cups of water in front of them and retreated to his room, leaving them enough space to talk.

As soon as he left, Olivia immediately linked her arm through Enna’s, recounting the events of the past two days. She ended with frustration, ”...That’s how it is, don’t you think it’s bothersome? Now I’m thinking about whether to terminate my contract with Celestial Entertainment, otherwise it’ll be so awkward later.”

Enna looked shocked, ”You mean August Oliver became a director of the Oscar Group and parachuted into Celestial Entertainment?”

”Yeah, didn’t you know? It’s been all over the news and online the past two days, and you didn’t hear anything? What have you been up to?” Olivia asked, eyes wide.

Enna’s earlobes felt a bit warm, and avoiding Olivia’s probing gaze, she stammered, ”Nothing, just haven’t watched TV.”

”Oh, I thought maybe someone kept you in bed for two days straight,” Olivia grinned mischievously.

You have to admit, her words could be sharp.

They hit the nail on the head.

Enna decisively shifted the topic, asking her, ”Did you tell Adam Sinclair that August Oliver is the new acting president of Celestial Entertainment?”

Speaking of this, Olivia flopped onto the sofa, looking like a salted fish, ”No, I haven’t had the chance to tell him yet.”

Enna promptly turned her evasive face to face her, ”Don’t tell me you’re planning to hide this from Adam.”

”Well...” Olivia’s beautiful eyes darted around, and after a moment, she admitted the truth, ”It’s not that I want to hide it from him, I just haven’t figured out whether I want to terminate my contract with Celestial Entertainment yet.”
