The Genius Evolution Store

Auric and the other students from Esfrata stood at ease in front of the instructors from Lech-Aistia.

An old man walked to the front and said, ”I am Sigmund—the head instructor from LA. We will be giving you training based on our experience, but the general lesson will be focused on one thing.

”Weapons. I’m sure that a lot of you were quite disappointed when you heard that, but you are misunderstanding what I mean.

”Weapons don’t necessarily mean the tools you are currently wielding. It can be your body. For those who are using fists, I’m sure you can understand it immediately.

”If you focus on your element, it doesn’t mean this lesson will be useless. We will be teaching you how to use your elements as a weapon. And it’s definitely not the way you’re thinking about.

”Now, I’d like you to divide yourselves into three groups. The group on my left will be for those who use weapons on a daily basis. It doesn’t matter if you use a sword or a poleaxe. As long as you have a tool that can be considered a weapon, then go here.

”The group in front of me is for those who wish to use their bodies as weapons, such as through martial arts or physical enhancement.

”The group on my right will be for those who use elements as their weapons. Of course, this lesson is also important for evolution masters. In the end, you will also need to learn how to fight.

”Even if you receive help during the battle, you will end up having to rely on yourself from time to time.

”Besides, learning how to control your energy is also necessary for evolution masters. There is no need for you to worry about it.

”In that case, I will give you five minutes to decide. Please line up properly after five minutes.”

A lot of people looked at each other, but they already knew what they wanted to do. They were just waiting for others to move.

”Watch him.” Ellia pointed to Auric. ”I bet he’s going to make trouble again. Just make sure you prevent it from affecting the other three countries.”

Katarina chuckled. ”You need to trust him.”

”I trust him. I just don’t trust others. If he has a bodyguard, it’s not to stop others... it’s to stop him.” Ellia shook her head helplessly.

Katarina looked surprised before chuckling. ”I know, right?”

”I am not a child.” Auric rolled his eyes.

”But you are the youngest among us.” Katarina stuck out her tongue.

Vera didn’t say anything, lest they tease her again.

In the end, Vera and Ellia went to the right, while Auric and Katarina headed in different directions.

”Very well.” Head Instructor Sigmund nodded, satisfied. ”Now that you’ve lined up, there will be instructors asking you to follow them. Please go to your designated location. The students in front of me will remain in this spot. All instructors, please go to your respective positions.”

After saying those words, Head Instructor Sigmund also walked away from the platform, and another Rank 6 instructor took his place.

He headed straight for Auric’s group.

’So, this guy is the one who is allowing the instructor to follow me?’ Auric asked inwardly.

”I believe so.” Lindwurm nodded. ”You’re not going to do anything, right?”

Auric remained silent.

”Right?”

Auric continued to keep his mouth shut.

On the other hand, Sigmund raised his hand. ”I will be teaching you three things today. How much you can understand will depend on yourself. The topics are elemental manipulation, timing, and utilization.

”Let’s begin with the first one. Elemental manipulation. I’m sure that you are already learning how to manipulate your element, so I won’t bother you with the basics. Instead, I will show you the elemental manipulation that the kids in Lech-Aistia learn.”

Sigmund raised his hand. His red energy started to flare up, forming a blaze at his fingertip.

Then, this blaze split into two, then three, then four, and continued until it became ten.

”You will find yourself in a situation where you want to form your ability faster. What should you do? It’s simple. Instead of drawing from a single point, you need to draw it from multiple points.”

Auric squinted. This technique was similar to the division and fusion technique he got from Professor Schad.

However, it had a slight difference in the concept.

Professor Schad combined and divided multiple battle techniques, while this one only managed the energy. There was no movement in the energy, so it could be split easily.

On the other hand, the energy from the battle technique had been flowing according to the technique, so splitting it and combining it would be close to impossible if not for Auric’s suggestion.

”This will be your first lesson. Release your energy to your fingertip and split it into five. All Rank 1 students in LA can divide their energy into five, so I expect you to do it as well.” Sigmund smiled.

Although his smile was gentle, all the instructors were rolling their eyes internally.

’Lie!’

’Rank 1 students can do two. Even Rank 2 students usually can do three to four. Only Rank 3 students are able to split their energy into five.’

However, they said nothing. They all knew that Sigmund said this just so the students from Esfrata would think that the students from Lech-Aistia were much better than them.

It would hurt their pride, and it would be a victory for Lech-Aistia.

”Is this it?” Auric and Katarina abruptly asked.

”!!!” Sigmund widened his eyes. The other instructors couldn’t believe it either.

Auric actually split his energy into ten like Sigmund, while Katarina reached twenty.

”What?” Sigmund was startled.

Katarina had received the lesson from Mr. Green. At that time, she had to split her energy to lift up many bottles at once and move them simultaneously.

So, this training wasn’t worth anything to Katarina.

On the other hand, splitting energy was simply for Auric as he could move the particles around.

Sigmund could understand if Katarina could do it. While this was an advanced technique, Katarina was the vice president of their number one university. She was also a Rank 4 student.

She should have learned something like this in the past. However, Auric was different. It was a topic that a freshman shouldn’t have studied due to the difficulty.

The biggest difficulty was their senses. When they split the energy, they would end up splitting it too much and causing the original energy to disappear.

They would have a much harder time controlling the energy.

That was why only Rank 3 students could perform the technique perfectly. After all, when they evolved their avatar from the juvenile form to the adult form, their five senses would be enhanced.

Sigmund walked toward them and said, ”All right. Both of you have passed. I guess Esfrata has some talented students.”

”Thank you.” Katarina smiled.

Auric nodded. ”So, what are we supposed to do now?”

”You have to wait for the other students. The time limit for this lesson is four hours. Whether they’re done or not, after four hours, I will continue with the next lesson. In the meantime, you may ask me some questions.”

”Oh?!” Auric looked amused. ”In that case, can I ask you how to split your internal energy? What we’re doing is the basic technique, right? Rather than splitting it outside your body, you split your energy inside your body.”

”!!!” Sigmund was startled. He didn’t expect Auric to be asking such a question.

The students were confused as well. It looked like what Sigmund had said earlier was true. This technique was something their children learned.

Auric glanced around and pumped his fists, cheering for them. ”Don’t worry. Keep calm, and you can do this. You don’t have to split it right away. You can try to find small rocks and imbue your energy into both of them, then move to a higher number. It’s simpler that way.”

Sigmund was taken aback. Auric was actually telling the others about a secret way to learn this technique.

It looked like Auric had indeed learned this technique before.

”Oh!” Although the boys disliked Auric because he was too popular, they respected and recognized his ability.

Meanwhile, the girls were simply cheering for him.

They followed his instructions carefully.

Sigmund coughed, trying to regain his composure. ”All teachers, please stand by your positions and assist the students if they have any questions.”

”Well, I guess the rule is that you’re allowed to ask any question related to the lesson.” Sigmund sighed, realizing that he had lost the initiative.

”All right. You want me to teach you how to split your energy inside your body rather than outside?” Sigmund asked for confirmation.

”I do...” Auric glanced at Katarina, who agreed with him, so he corrected his words. ”...we do.”

”Very well. However, before that, I want to ask you a question.” Sigmund raised one finger with a serious expression.

”Yes?”

”Do you have any desire to relocate to LA? We can give you a billion credits every year as your allowance. Besides, our LA has many beautiful women with—”

Before Sigmund could finish, Katarina suddenly stepped forward. ”Do you think he will move to LA when he has me here? I don’t think I’m any less than they are.”

”There’s something you don’t know. A few selected people have an exemption from a certain law. Some people choose to be exempted from taxes, while others choose to be exempted from marriage law. In other words, you can actually have multiple wives in LA by applying for our Special Individual Program.”

Katarina coughed, startled by what they really offered. She didn’t expect such a tempting offer.

Auric chuckled, while Katarina asked, ”Are you tempted?”

Auric shrugged. ”Not really.”

”What? Then, what do you like? We can definitely offer it to you.”

Auric waved his hand. ”I have no reason to change my nationality.”

’No reason?’ Sigmund definitely didn’t miss this small detail. ’In other words, if he has a reason, he will? In that case, what kind of reason could make him change his nationality?’

There were a lot of questions in his mind, but Auric snapped him out of his thoughts. ”In any case, you’ve asked your question. So, are you going to teach us that technique?”

Sigmund paused for a moment. This was actually a win for him already. Since he had learned that Auric might end up finding a reason to change his nationality in the future, forming a good relationship was the first thing that needed to be done.

”Of course. The technique is quite simple...” Sigmund taught them in great detail. Surprisingly, Katarina didn’t correct him about his words after that first exchange. In other words, even Esfrata didn’t have a good grasp on him.

Little did he know, Katarina had actually outwitted a sly fox like him in the first exchange.

Katarina used to say, ”You can lead a man anywhere as long as you make him think he’s the one in control.”

Katarina made Sigmund think that he had the chance and got as many secrets as possible from him.
