The Genius Evolution Store

”By the way, I haven’t heard anything about the situation regarding Dermania knowing about your fire element. Have you shown your fire element to them or something?” Supervisor Jacob asked. ”Or maybe they attacked you in Thunderer City?”

”I will spare you the details, but their spy has seen me.” Auric didn’t give him any details. After all, he was considering recruiting Gloria.

”I see. How do you know that the spy is from Dermania?”

Auric pointed at Katarina.

Katarina confirmed it. ”I conducted the investigation.”

Supervisor Jacob knew what kind of family Katarina had. Her family was rather infamous, considering that a lot of big figures also used her family to get information.

”In that case, I’ll prepare some countermeasures for it.” Supervisor Jacob nodded in understanding. ”But how about your dark element? I’ve been briefed that you are now a gold-grade evolution master. More importantly, you register as a dark evolution master.”

”I don’t have any dark elements.” Auric smiled.

”Your secret is safe with me.”

Auric kept staring at him as if he had no intention of telling him any further information.

”Very well. That works as well. At least I know you can keep your mouth shut.” Supervisor Jacob shrugged, not caring about it. ”I will make some preparations regarding Dermania. I will prepare a few things regarding your identity as an evolution master, but because I have no information about it, don’t ask too much from me.”

Auric nodded in understanding.

”In that case, let’s begin with your training.” Supervisor Jacob clapped, gesturing for them to start moving.

Auric had really learned a lot from this training camp. He had refined the way he fought. If not for all the training, he wouldn’t have been able to fuse four elements and release the attack at such a perfect time.

The other students also improved by leaps and bounds. Most of them would probably make a big wave once the training program in their respective schools ended.

However, it would be a different matter whether they could make a big wave during the Europe Training Program.

Finally, the four-week training camp had finished.

Supervisor Jacob gathered all of them again along with all the instructors.

”I have seen everyone’s improvement. You’ve really worked hard over the last four weeks. All of you should be able to notice your improvements, so I won’t say much about it.

”Rather, I’d like to talk about the ETP. This is the event that you’ve been preparing for. This time, you are going to face all the geniuses from the other countries. They won’t be easy opponents to fight either, but I believe everyone here has done everything they could to face them.

”So, I don’t have to motivate you further because your improvement is your motivation. This is the Europe Training Program.

”You have to train like this again, but I know you can absorb everything you learn from them. Show them that you are a cut above the rest. Understood?”

”Yes, sir!” The students answered in unison.

”Very well. You are free for the next three days.” Supervisor Jacob smiled. ”Fortunately, I’ve managed to win against the government this time. They’ve prepared the plane tickets for you to return to your family and spend three days with them. You will be back in the capital three days later. Just don’t complain because you’ll be flying economy class, okay?”

Some students couldn’t help but cheer, thinking they could meet their families again.

Auric was also happy since he missed his mother.

Supervisor Jacob nodded. ”Before you go, I’m going to inform you about the schedule for the Europe Training Program.

”The ETP will last for thirty days, but the actual training will be four weeks, so twenty-eight days.

”The first and last day will be for banquets, so prepare some dresses and suits to meet other students. Well, we can’t exactly lose to them in terms of appearance, can’t we?

”So, Auric Elfe!” Supervisor Jacob smirked. ”You’d better dress up well. Also, the girls in his group. You probably have good makeup skills, right? Make sure to dress this guy up. Make their guys feel inferior.”

”Hahaha.” The students laughed, but they couldn’t exactly deny that Auric was the most good-looking man around here.

In fact, the three girls in his group weren’t losing either, as they had their respective charm.

Supervisor Jacob chuckled. ”Prepare for the welcome and farewell banquet. In the first week, your schedule will be practical training, similar to what we have here, but you will have free time every Saturday and Sunday for free training or to just go sightseeing, so this means you will train two days, have free time, and train another three days before the schedule changes every Thursday.

”For the second week, you will have a joint training program with other countries. In other words, you can directly learn together with students from other countries, so don’t hold anything back this week.

”The third week is going to be pretty tough. It will be survival training. You and your group will go into the wilderness and survive for the next seven days.

”You have to kill beasts or eliminate other participants. No killing is allowed, and the event will be monitored closely. If you are going to defeat them, stop after you beat them until their mothers can’t recognize them anymore.

”Last but not least, exchange. Of course, we will definitely have a tournament to see who is the best. The tournament will be divided into three categories. For the first three days, you will compete against others of your own rank.

”The following two days will be the competition for evolution masters. I’m sure some of you are going to show your skills during this competition, so go for it. Beat the crap out of them. The first day will be used for the bronze-grade and silver-grade. Meanwhile, the second day will be used for challenges. If you want to challenge another evolution master, do it here.

”Then, for the last two days, you will have a free-for-all. In other words, you may challenge anyone you like, regardless of their rank. The other party may not accept it, of course.

”That’s all for the training program. You have some free time on the last day, but there will be a banquet that night. Also, you probably won’t have time for the last two weeks, so if you want to buy some souvenirs, buy them during the first two weeks. If you want to bring back some food, then buy it on the last day.

”We will return to this country the next morning. Any questions?”

The students fell silent for a moment until one student raised her hand. ”Sir, do we have any incentive to beat other students?”

”Good question.” Supervisor Jacob nodded. ”Considering the schedule, of course, there won’t be any rewards for the first week. It’s just simple training. Just make sure you are not looked down upon by other countries.

”The second training will be different, though. Basically, all five countries will be training for the same thing. It’s something like a challenge. Since you will be off on Saturday and Sunday, there will be five days for training, so each country will set its own challenge. The details of our challenge will be shared later.

”The top three performers in each challenge will receive rewards from us. The details of the rewards will be shared in the document we’ll give you later.

”Now, for the third week, you are going to love this. The top group will receive a lot of rewards, ranging from cash to artifacts. You may even choose whether you want a magic item or high-level equipment.”

”Oohhhh!” Some students looked excited.

Supervisor Jacob smiled. ”The rewards will be extended to the top five teams, so do your best. The last week is the most important. This will be individual battles. For Rank 1 students, the top five will receive rewards that will contribute to your future growth. The same applies to Rank 2 students.

”However, for Rank 3 and Rank 4 students, only the top three students are going to receive their rewards.

”Still, if you manage to take first place in each competition, you will definitely get a lot of bonus rewards.

”Basically, we have a lot of sponsors, so go beat up your competition, make your country proud, and get some free rewards. Simple, right?”

The students looked at each other. For those coming from a wealthy family like Ellia and Vera, the rewards weren’t exactly exciting.

However, the reward was already quite tempting for someone like Katarina. After all, it wouldn’t be just those bonus rewards. They were aiming for personal glory.

Supervisor Jacob raised his hand. ”Any more questions?”

No one else raised their hands.

”Very well. Let’s end this training camp. I thank you all for sticking with us for the last four weeks. Let’s do our best during the Europe Training Program.

”Please go to the stage and receive the documents for all the details regarding the ETP.”

The students clapped their hands as the instructors helped them onto the stage in an orderly manner.

”So, there are a lot of sponsors?” Auric glanced at Ellia.

Ellia nodded. ”Of course. This training program will be broadcast live, so some sponsors might also come to you individually to wear their equipment or items during the entire program.”

”I mean, haven’t you received it? My family has been discussing them. Of course, I will wear items made by my family.” Vera asked. ”But your mother should have gotten some offers already.”

”Oh!” Auric chuckled. ”They’re probably being screened by the mayor or something. My mother hasn’t told me anything, not that I really care. Should I make a unique uniform for my store instead?”

Vera rolled her eyes. ”You do you.”

”You will probably receive A-Rank or S-Rank contracts for celebrities. That’s what I would do if I wanted to entice you.” Ellia shrugged. ”You know, something like a few hundred million credits and other benefits.”

”Interesting, but not exactly interesting. Having ads about me just makes things worse because if I do something bad, they will be coming for me.” Auric sighed.

”Welcome to the dark side of being a public figure. But yeah, if you don’t need the additional money, you can turn them down.”

”You’re not going to make me review the documents, right?” Katarina smiled wryly. ”It sounds like a pain in the ass.”

”Throw it in the trash?” Auric grinned.

”I can lend you an incinerator.” Katarina winked playfully.

”By the way, they’re going to give us some translators, right?” Vera asked. ”I just thought about it.”

”Why?” Auric, Ellia, and Katarina looked at her dumbfoundedly.

”Why?” Vera was startled by their reaction. ”I mean, you will probably need it to talk to the instructors or other students, right?”

”They will probably just teach everything in English, won’t they?” Auric asked.

”Who knows? It’s not exactly a problem for me.” Ellia rolled her eyes.

”Do you have any problems with languages, Auric?”

”Well, I can speak our language, English, and Lechs. I can understand people talking in Derman, but I just can’t speak it. Well, I can write in Chinese... still learning about it for my Edict, though.” Auric shook his head, showing that he had no problem communicating.

”I can speak Derman and English, and I can understand Grandana and Lechs.” Katarina nodded in agreement.

”I can speak in all five languages of our neighboring countries.” Ellia turned to Vera. ”Why are you looking like that? Don’t tell me you can only speak our language.”

”I can... speak a bit of Engrish...” Vera looked away.

The three of them looked at Vera as if she were the only one who wasn’t normal among them.

”You three... I hate you.”

They just looked at each other and shrugged.

Auric suddenly thought of something and smirked. ”But don’t you worry. Eric can speak Derman, Lechs, and English.”

”Why are you mentioning Eric?” Vera looked startled.

In that instant, Katarina and Ellia both realized what was going on. They suddenly smirked.

Auric pointed at the two of them. ”What are you talking about? I’m talking to these two, not you. Why are you the ones responding?”

”Now, now...”

”Isn’t this interesting?”

Vera froze before panicking.
