THE GOD EATER

Not only was his precious business being stolen, but the thieves who stole it were also preventing him from stealing his business back from them by passing the theft through the Will of the world. So he felt that he was being cheated in two ways.

The pain became too much when he saw the two items being traded and realized that they were Supreme Metacs that he didn’t possess.

When he couldn’t take it anymore, he said to Martial Will, ”You could have come to me instead. I’m more trustworthy, you know.”

In response, Martial Will shrugged and said, ”But I don’t have a Minor Dao to make the exchange.”

”Is that really a good reason to trade down your Major Dao for a Minor Dao?” Loki asked in confusion. ”I could have done that too.”

”She also offered to lend me her strength,” Martial Will explained.

”I can do that too,” Loki said in anguish.

Martial Will had had enough of his questions and didn’t hesitate to say, in an irritated tone, ”Yes, you can, but you’re not as strong as she is.”

”I see,” Loki said with his eyes narrowed dangerously. ”And where did you get these Supreme Metacs anyway?”

Martial Will ignored his question. So he turned to Heavenly Eye, ”Who had to die for you to get the Supreme Metacs?”

Heavenly Eye immediately said, ”From some of our disciples.”

But Loki still asked, ”Is that the truth?”

”If you didn’t trust me, you shouldn’t have bothered to ask,” she said with a snort.

Then she sent a secret message to him, saying, ”’I want to exchange the Anger Supreme Metac, the Sadness Supreme Metac, and the Blood Supreme Metac for your Transformation Supreme Metac.”

”Don’t the Anger Supreme Metac and the Sadness Supreme Metac look like something Harem King would use? Are these her previous Supreme Metacs?” Loki asked in surprise.

”That is none of your concern,” She said, cutting him off. ”Now are you going to make the exchange or not?”

Loki, smiling like he just saw something pleasant, said, ”I will make the exchange. But you also have to tell me where the Anger Supreme Metac, the Sadness Supreme Metac, the Blood Supreme Metac, and the Berserker came from.”

Before she could reply, Loki said, ”And you have to swear on your Dao Heart to tell me the truth. I don’t want your lies.”

”This is cheating,” Heavenly Eye immediately said in protest. ”This wasn’t the deal. You’re extorting me.”

”Yes, I am,” Loki admitted smugly. ”But what of it?”

”Besides, I remember just earlier when I wanted to buy a certain piece of information from you. It was information that you should have given to me as your ally in invading Wandering Thief’s super world. But you had me pay for it, and you wanted an exorbitant price for it.”

His voice was dripping with scorn as he said, ”If you can dish out the extortion, you should be able to take it. As you said at that time, I am your only choice, and you’re desperate to make this deal.”

”You’re good. Very good. This is good,” she said in anger.

She spoke about how good the situation was three times in a row. It was clear to anyone who heard her just how angry she was.

’Just you wait. Let’s see how snug you’ll be when I make my move,’ she thought to herself in anger.

Then she said, ”Yes, the Anger Supreme Metac and the Sadness Supreme Metac came from the Harem King. The Blood Supreme Metac came from the Human Emperor.”

”As for the Berserker Supreme Metac, it came from the Farming God. I swear on my Dao Heart that this is the truth.”

Loki almost couldn’t believe his ears when he heard what she said. ”The Farming God was a Berserker? How come?”

When Heavenly Eye didn’t reply, he sighed and said, ”Don’t force me to do this. Just satisfy my curiosity, and let’s be done with this.”

”I know that it is painful for you to tell the truth, but the sooner we can be done with this, the better for you. So let it happen. Stop resisting.”

By this time, her eyes were spitting fire. Even her true body in the upper realm was shaking with fury.

But she still relented and said, ”Yes. He was a mad farmer. What else can I say?”

Unfortunately, this wasn’t good enough for Loki. He had to ask another question, saying, ”Tell me more about the Farming God and the Human Emperor. How come their Supreme Metacs are with you and Tepid Scholar, not with one person?”

”Because the Human Emperor and the Farming God gave up their true bodies and committed suicide to escape with their Supreme Metacs.”

”When their True body collapsed, their Supreme Metacs scattered into the lower realm. Unfortunately, they didn’t succeed, and their Supreme Metacs fell into our hands.”

”Is that all?” she asked in frustration.

”Not quite,” Loki replied with a grin. ”You still need to swear that you’ve spoken the truth and only the truth.”

In response, she sighed in relief as he said, ”I swear on my Dao Heart that I have spoken only the truth.”

Then she asked, ”Can the deal progress now that you’ve raped me intellectually and satisfied your curiosity?”

”I’m still curious as to why you’re selling Harem King’s Supreme Metacs when you two are supposed to be allies. But go ahead. Swear the oath, and we will make the exchange,” Loki said in reply.

Heavenly Eye didn’t hesitate to say, ”I swear on my Dao Heart to give Lord Ragnarok the Anger Supreme Metac, the Sadness Supreme Metac, and the Blood Supreme Metac as soon as he gives me the Transformation Supreme Metac.”

She spoke in a hurry as if she was in a rush to leave. But Loki didn’t mind her impatience. He sent down the animal skin while she sent down the three Supreme Metacs. Then they exchanged with each other.
