THE GOD EATER

Then he said with confidence, ”The answer to that question is that I am not stupid. I am not the smartest person alive. I only have an average intelligence. But even with my average intelligence, I know you are not calling me to the third dimension to talk.”

”I know that you are here to fight me either for the purpose of capturing me or killing me. I also know that you don’t want to fight me in the first dimension because you don’t want the fallout from our battle to affect the Blessed Heaven World.”

”So I know that you want to eat your cake and have it. You want to kill me and also keep the Blessed Heaven World safe. Knowing this, why should I let you have your way?”

He laughed as he said, ”Hear me and hear me well, if you want to kill me, you will have to pay the price for it. And if I have to die, then more people and even the world will have to go down with me.”

Just as he said, one of the stars said to him, ”We are not here to kill you. We only want to talk.”

The star used some mysterious power in its voice, so when the voice reached him, it smashed into his mind with overwhelming power. The power in the voice overrode his intelligence and made him believe what the star said.

Actually, this didn’t happen either. The voice had to pass through his external body, so it was first subjected to the suppression of his authority in his external body. This weakened the power of the voice before it could reach him.

Unlike the power of their light, the darkness in his external body could actually suppress their power. Then the Devouring Ability in his external body tore the voice apart and devoured it.

By the time the voice reached Loki, only a trace of it was left. And this was because he allowed the voice to reach him.

If he didn’t want the voice to reach him, he could have devoured the whole voice. But he wanted to hear what they had to say, so he allowed just a trace of their voices to reach him.

So the mysterious power in the voice failed to compel him and make him foolishly enter the third dimension. The only thing this attempt succeeded in doing was alerting him to the fact that the fight had already started.

When he realized what they just tried to pull off on him, he smiled and said, ”Nice try. But as I’ve said before, if you want me, you’re gonna have to come to get me. And you have to be ready to pay the price.”

In response, one of the five stars in the Central Domain said, so be it.”

Then the five stars descended from the sky. They seemed to fall to the ground, but they only entered the first dimension.

As the stars entered the first dimension, they transformed from being spherical stars into figures of people. All ten stars transformed into people, and they approached him from every direction.

In just a few seconds, Loki found himself surrounded. There were ten enemies, and everyone who surrounded him was at rank 9.

This made him grin and say, ”It is about time we meet face to face.”

Inwardly, he thought to himself nervously, ’I hope I haven’t bitten more than I can chew.

According to his plan, he had hoped to fight one Dao Lord at most. Two Dao Lords at the same time was also feasible. This was one of the reasons he was adamant about staying in the first dimension to fight them.

He was hoping that by refusing to move, the Dao Lords would have to hold back. But it seemed he had underestimated how much they wanted to kill him.

From two enemies that he hoped to fight, to ten rank 9 enemies. How could he not be nervous? That part that had been warning him earlier of how bad this whole thing could turn out was now gloating at the back of his mind.

However, he didn’t run away just yet. He didn’t run away because he had some level of confidence in being able to retreat safely even if he failed to defeat them.

His confidence stemmed from a series of things he was reliant on. The greatest source of confidence for him was still the Rewind Metac. The Time Loop Metac was a close second.

Aside from this, there was the fact that he just gained another Supreme Metac with a size of 81 units. Plus, Golden Sun’s Cave Heaven had expanded the size of his Cave Heaven.

After he devoured Golden Sun’s Cave Heaven, the size of the golden mountain increased from Domain: 2117^3 to 2,743^3. This is what the devouring of 11,159 million square kilometers granted him.

Because of the Luck Supreme Metac and the increase in the size of his golden mountain, he felt that he could fight. And thanks to the Rewind Metac and the Time Loop Metac, he believed that he could run away.

While he was assessing his strength, he was also assessing the strengths of his enemies. After all, only in this way could he correctly predict his chances of victory.

Five monkeys were the first to descend onto him. They were transformed from the five stars of the Central Domain.

Every monkey had scales like that of a dragon. Even their tails were scaled, not hairy. But this was where most of their physical similarities ended.

The five monkeys were black, golden, white, silver, and translucent. They weren’t muscular, but they were taller than gorillas. Each one was 10 meters tall and they each represented the Death Pathway, Money Pathway, Enslavement Pathway, Forging Pathway, and the Mind Hunter Pathway, respectively.

As soon as they descended, he used the Power Identification Ability on them. So he was able to see which pathway each monkey represented and exactly how powerful each of them was.
