THE GOD EATER

Because of him, heaven and earth were covered with a layer of darkness. The darkness destroyed everything it touched upon contact. It behaved more like a physical acid than an intangible force.

As good as his performance was, the red star didn’t sit back and watch him perform, though. It activated the Blade of Time Metac against him while it protected itself with the Time Stasis Metac.

A few seconds later, the entire area collapsed, and the black water of the river of death swept through the area, submerging everything. Only the golden dragon remained at the scene. Both the red star and its Cave Heaven were nowhere to be seen.

Loki, smacking his lips in relish, said, ”And that’s how that is done.”

He looked at the scene of destruction that he caused and said in satisfaction, ”This is exactly how I envisioned freedom. It doesn’t have any attacking potential, but it is great because it allows me to use my power however I want. As long as I don’t need anyone’s permission to go anywhere and do anything, I’ll be happy with it.”

Shaking his head, he rose back to the surface of the area. As his figure went up, he said, ”I wouldn’t want to be on the other side of this kind of power, though. I am sure no one will want to be on the other side of it either. This is why I must never reveal the fact that I have something like this to anyone.”

His heart was full of determination as he said, ”No matter what I do, I must never expose this Supreme Metac. No one must know that I have it. It will serve as my trump card to catch people off guard.”

Just recently, he had revealed to Dao Lords and everyone in the world at the scene that he possessed the Time Pathway. But for some reason, he is drawing the line of exposure at the Freedom Pathway.

His decision to hide this pathway means that he will not be able to use anyone to help him create more Divine Metacs for the pathway. But it is a sacrifice he is willing to make to prevent anyone from making targeted preparations against his freedom.

He was thinking about this as he left the river of death. Then he entered the third dimension and left the Blessed Heaven World.

During the entire process, no one knew what he was doing. Both the Dao Lords and the will of the world, which should be omniscient in this world, couldn’t keep track of his movements.

To everyone paying attention to his whereabouts, he was still in the second heaven. He never left the second heaven, and he didn’t enter the river of death. At least, no one saw him do these things.

After a while of not hearing any news about him, the community of divine beings began to assume that he had died. Then they moved on with their lives.

Right now, what everyone was dealing with was the war of the three sects against the Four Directions Sect and the Martial Body Sect. Even if the dragon were still alive, the five sects would still be busy with this.

This war came at a really bad time for many people, especially for Many Eyes. For some reason, Many Eyes’ worlds have been disappearing, and he can’t tell why.

The worlds all seem to disappear all of a sudden. It is a great loss to his revenue stream, and he would like to spend time trying to figure out why his worlds were disappearing. But his sect wants him to go to war against the Four Directions Sect.

The only consolation was that he wasn’t the one who was plagued by this issue. Monarch Money Body and Monarch Eyes of Truth and False were also suffering from this problem.

Even the worlds captured in the first heaven to serve as Heavenly Battlefields were plagued by the disappearing disease. So the five sects were also suffering from this issue.

When the five sects began fighting each other, the news spread to every corner of the Blessed Heaven World with powerful and well-informed beings. Many of these powerful people were paying attention to the war, hoping for an opportunity to interfere and seek benefits for themselves.

But some of these powerful people were only curious about the war. They only wanted to survive the war unscathed, so they had no intention of involving themselves in the war.

One such force was a race of people living in a large world. Their large world was 9.9 billion square kilometers in size. It is five times bigger than Oceania and very close to becoming a super world.

The races living in this world are an assortment of land animals, birds, and aquatic creatures. But there is one particular race that can live on land, fly in the air like a bird, and live in the ocean like a fish.

The members of this particular race are giant reptiles with hard shield-like scales adorning the surface of their bodies. They have wings of varying numbers on their backs, and they possess horns on their heads.

The members of this race like living on mountains, and there are many tall mountains in the large world for them to live in. They have even built large edifices of civilization that they live in.

Of course, they didn’t do the building personally. They have little people that they enslaved to do the building for them.

These winged reptilian giants are also the apex predators of this world. So, all in all, this world is a paradise for them.

On the highest mountain in the world, there was a large city of hewn stone. There was a large stone castle built on the summit of this mountain.

The castle didn’t have walls like mortal castles do. Instead, it had pillars of stone that held up a large open sky roof.
