THE GOD EATER

As he inspected his existence, he said, ”I don’t know if it is a good thing that I’ve become free now. Either way, it looks like this is my limit.”

”I will need rest and experiences to gain the inspiration I need to create more Divine Metacs. I could do that, or I could let someone else work hundreds of years to create one Divine Metac for me. A mortal, perhaps, will do.”

As it stands, he has run out of inspiration for Divine Metacs. Fortunately, he has the opportunity to outsource the creation of more Divine Metacs to other people. He only needs to become a Dao Lord.

”I will become a Dao Lord soon,” he said as he thought of his plans. ”But not yet. I still need to reach my limit in power.

”I haven’t even reached the limit of the size of my Cave Heaven and created that Divine Mountain. So I’ll go and absorb some worlds. When I’m done with that, I will need to acquire some divine crystals.”

Then he smiled and said, ”That aside, let’s see what I made.”

Even before he said this, he was already bringing up the information about his newly created Supreme Metac. The information about the Divine Metacs also appeared.

-FREEDOM(ESSENCE OF TRANSCENDENCE - 81): Unshackled(9). Invisible(8). Intangible(8). Free Range(8). Free Mind(8).

”What a beauty!” he said in admiration.

”With coordinates of 9,9,1(x,y,z), a size of 81 units, one rank 9 Divine Metac, and four Divine Metacs, I am on a roll here.”

”No more talking and looking. It is time to see what it can do.”

As he said this, he activated the rank 9 Unshackled Divine Metac. The job of this Divine Metac is to free him from any rules, restrictions, and bindings. He had Black Chains with the Enslavement Pathway and Tepid Scholar with the Formation Pathway to thank for the inspiration for this Divine Metac.

This Divine Metac is the core of the Freedom Pathway. It is the tool he created to help him achieve ultimate freedom. With it, it has become very difficult to enslave him.

Right now, there is only one rule binding him. It is the rule created in his consciousness when he swore an oath never to expose Time Traveler’s existence.

After activating the Unshackled Divine Metac, the restriction of the oath in his mind was broken. So now he was free to tell everyone about Time Traveler once again.

When he thought of the things he could do with this Divine Metac, he chuckled and said, ”With this power, I can join the Four Directions Sect again. As for that sect mark, I will be able to remove it. I might even be able to break free from the surveillance of the Divine Positions and hide the fact that I possess a Supreme Metac from the pathway.”

Then he shook his head and said, ”Fortunately, I don’t need to join the Four Directions Sect for anything. That is not a risk I want to take at this point.”

As he spoke, he activated the rank 8 Invisible Divine Metac. As a result, a white cloak appeared around him, draping over his body. The white cloak turned transparent like glass, and it made his figure turn transparent too.

Like that, his body disappeared until it became impossible to see him. But this wasn’t all that the Invisible Divine Metac could do. Not only had it made him impossible to see with the eyes, but it also made him impossible to see with other senses.

The job of the Invisible Divine Metac is to free him from every kind of perception. So he is not just invisible to visual perception; he is also invisible to auditory perception, spiritual perception, and the extraordinary perception of the Insight Stat.

From his perception, he was still standing where he was with very little visible change. The only change he could see was the white cloak around his body.

But from the perspective of anyone who walks by, even if he were to scream at the top of his lungs, they won’t notice him. Of course, it would cost more lifespan to remain hidden while shouting compared to hiding himself while being quiet and still.

”This is very good. As for whether it can hide me from the direct gaze of Dao Lords, that is yet to be seen.”

”Anyway, we have a lot of work to do. So it is time to leave.”

Saying so, his figure sank into the ground of the second heaven. Then his body came out from the sky into the second dimension.

After thinking about his options for a brief instant, he decided to activate the rank 8 Free Range Divine Metac. This time, there was no visual change to him. But the whole world had changed from his perspective.

From his perspective, the dimensional barriers that set up the boundaries between the three dimensions had ceased to exist. Those barriers were still there, but they couldn’t block him or restrict his movements anymore.

Because of this, he didn’t need to tear through the dimensional barriers in space to enter another dimension. His existence can now slip into nearby dimensions without restrictions.

Since the Free Range Metac was so useful, he decided not to leave the Blessed Heaven World just yet. Instead, he decided to take a detour before going out to eat and assimilate worlds.

His body sank lower into the second dimension instead of entering the third dimension. At the very bottom was the river of death. With his figure coming down, he slowly approached the river of death.

When he reached the black waters of the river of death, he didn’t hesitate to plunge into it. Soon, his body disappeared beneath the black ink-like waves.

As the waters of the river of death submerged him, a dreadful and cold mysterious force entered his body through the water and went straight for his Divine Spark.
