THE GOD EATER

Only half of the city was leveled because only that part was exposed to the residual power of the attack. The other part of the city was unscathed simply because it was not in the line of fire.

The part of the city that was leveled disappeared completely. The rubble was pushed some distance away, while the original place in the city had been replaced by a large pit that the tsunami of force had dug up.

Despite how devastating the power of that attack was, it was enough to kill the golden divine being. The Life Fire of the golden divine being was still burning, so he is still alive. What he needs to do now is heal the injury to his body.

Since Loki had attacked him with a rank 6 Divine Metac and an amplification of 100% by his Law Fragments, he would need only 12 years of lifespan to heal the injury to his body.

Unfortunately for him, he didn’t have that much lifespan left. There was also the fact that the Siphon Ability was draining him of his lifespan at a rate of 6 years per second.

However, as long as he possesses a lot of money in his account, the sect will help him heal his injury and reforge his body by consuming the money in his account. If he doesn’t have any more in his account, then any valuable object in his possession can also be used to heal his body.

The gem-studded cloth that he likes to wear is an example of a precious object that can be used to heal his body. This is not something that any divine being can do. Only the divine being with the Gold Body Metac of the pathway of money can do this.

As a member of the Thorn House of Commerce, he is somewhat rich and has a lot of money in his account. So if given time, he can still heal his injuries despite the lack of lifespan.

But before he could heal, the Mind Freeze Metac struck him. When this happened, his Life Fire began to slow down as if to freeze.

This time, he had to expend his lifespan to resist the mental influence trying to slow down his mind. If he didn’t resist it, his Life Fire would freeze, and his body would not be able to heal, even if he had an infinite amount of money.

So he hurriedly began to resist the effect of the Mind Freeze Metac. Unfortunately for him, the combined pressure of the Mind Freeze Metac and the Siphon Ability left him no chance whatsoever of making a comeback.

His situation was so bad that he didn’t even have the chance to commit suicide before his Life Fire Went out. When his Life Fire went out, the star shining in his Cave Heaven went dark, and the golden flame burning on top of his head went out.

His golden body, which was trying to reform, finally gave up its attempt to do so. The pieces of molten gold turned into gold dust that was blown away by the wind. All that was left was an ownerless Cave Heaven.

Loki grabbed the Cave Heaven while he said to himself, ’That fight was inefficient. I shouldn’t have let him punch me at all. I should just have attacked twice instead of defending once while attacking once.’

He felt that he had been wasteful in that fight since it had cost him a whopping 18 years of lifespan for the three moves that he made. The Vengeful Bones Metac had been used twice, which cost 12 years of lifespan, while the Mind Freeze Metac was used once at the cost of 6 years of lifespan.

It was true that the golden divine being had been able to attack him because he was trying to give the Siphon Ability time to work. Since the Siphon Ability had proven itself to be able to extract 6 years of lifespan per second, he couldn’t really blame it.

Apparently, the Siphon Ability has improved in power now that Loki has become a divine being. With this kind of improvement from 1 year of lifespan per second to 6 years of lifespan per second, he could only smile and say, ’Maybe it was me who overreacted.’

’It is true that the damage caused by my punch and the extraction of the Siphon Ability was enough to kill him. In fact, even defending against that punch of his while extracting his lifespan would also be enough to kill him. But I just couldn’t take any chances.’

’I had to put pressure on him and overwhelm him so that he wouldn’t be able to commit suicide. With the mind of a divine being, he only needs a hundredth of a second to commit suicide. If he had committed suicide, I would have lost everything and had to start over again.’

As he was ruminating on the fight, a small black forcefield was projected from his Cave Heaven. This black forcefield covered the ownerless Cave Heaven and dragged it into Loki’s Cave Heaven. Then Fenrir devoured the Cave Heaven.

While this was happening, the Divine Position had appeared and was rising into the sky. But that’s not what it looked like in the third dimension.

In the third dimension where the stars reside, the Divine Position is still in its position in the sky. It had only dimmed, but it was still there waiting for another Cave Heaven to attach to it.

So the ascension of the Divine Position into the sky of the first dimension is more of a reflection of the availability of the Divine Position. It is not the real state of the Divine Position.

When Loki saw this, he said, “But who can determine which one is real? Is the third dimension more real than the second dimension?”

Before he could continue with this train of thought, Loki had finished digesting the Cave Heaven and had converted the Cave Heaven into some lifespan and law fragments for him.
