THE GOD EATER

His ultimate goal is to target the golden divine being. In the past, he would rush to have a confrontation with the golden divine being. But this time, he is taking his time to prepare.

He has decided to spend some time acquiring the best Branch Metacs and accumulating all of the wealth in the city. Only when there is no room to grow in the city anymore would he initiate the final plan.

This period of preparation took 8 days. When he was done, he had every rank 4 cultivator under his control, over 1 trillion energy stones in his account, and 210 million energy stones in his hands in the form of high-grade energy stones.

Most of the 1 trillion was earned from the betting arena through his sect token. The people of the city didn’t possess a combined wealth of 400 million energy stones. Half of that 400 million was the 210 million of physical energy stones.

At this point, his preparation was ready. So he began the second part of his plan.

He used the Nanite Metac to create a vessel for Fenrir. This vessel was then fed the 210 million energy stones. This helped the vessel reach 21 million units in power.

After the vessel was created, he set it loose on the city. But he didn’t let the vessel use the power of his Cave Heaven to engulf and devour the world. This was because the power to engulf the world had become too powerful now.

If he let Fenrir use his Cave Heaven to engulf this city, the power of the attack would be enough to cover the city completely. So all that Fenrir would need to eat the city would be one bite.

Since he didn’t actually want to destroy the city and only wanted to use it as bait to draw the golden divine being out, he didn’t let Fenrir borrow that power. This frustrated Fenrir, but the vessel still went about biting people and buildings with its teeth.

Loki went ahead to create more vessels for Loki using the Nanite Metac. These vessels worked together to wreak havoc in the city. And because they couldn’t engulf and swallow things whole, they created a mess while eating.

In no time, blood began to flow through the city. Body parts and random flesh were discarded everywhere. This created a more impactful sight that riled up the people of the city even more.

Because the vessels had to use their teeth to eat, their speed of eating was slow. So more people could escape from the city.

In order to prevent people from escaping, he had the rank 4 cultivators that he had recruited surrounding the city and forcing people back. This caused the city to fall into more chaos.

This time, no rank 4 helper came to the city. This was because the people who called for help mentioned the many rank 4 cultivators attacking them. So, rank 5 cultivators were the first batch of people sent to stop the destruction of the city.

When the rank 5 cultivators came, they saw the big wolf and immediately decided that they couldn’t handle it. They quickly called for backup and reported to a divine being. The divine being that came was the golden divine being.

As soon as the divine being appeared, Loki locked his eyes on him. Then he used the Power Identification Ability.

When he saw this, his eyes lit up, and he thought to himself, saying, ’I knew it. I can see more information with the Power Identification Ability now. This must be because of the enhancement of the Cave Heaven.’

While he was examining the golden divine being and feeling happy that every aspect of the power of a divine being had become exposed to him, the golden divine being was also examining him. What the divine being saw about Loki made him take Loki seriously.

The first thing that the divine being saw was that he possessed a Cave Heaven. This was because his Cave Heaven wasn’t hidden at all. So every divine being can see that he possesses a Cave Heaven.

Not only can they see that he possesses a Cave Heaven, but they can also tell the size of the Cave Heaven. So the divine being was able to tell his Cave Heaven was 87,381,333 square kilometers in size.

When the golden divine being saw this, the first thought that went through his mind was that Loki was the reincarnation of a divine being. At first, this brought a smile to his face because it meant that Loki should be in the possession of a Divine Metac or at least, have a secret recipe for producing that Divine Metac.

But then he frowned and said to himself, ’A reincarnated divine being should know better than to attack a city and not escape when it is common knowledge that most of the cities in the Central Domain were established by the houses of commerce, such as the Thorn House of Commerce, to earn money.’

Since he didn’t understand what was going on, he decided to use his Insight Stat to find out what was going on. He was willing to use the Insight Stat even though it would cost him some lifespan to use, and even though he was already running low on lifespan simply because he was taking Loki seriously.

If Loki were an ordinary mortal, he would never dare to spend so much lifespan digging up his past because he had recently suffered a near-death experience, which shattered most of his Cave Heaven and depleted his years of stored lifespan. That near-death experience weakened him into becoming the weakest member of the Thorn House of Commerce, and that is why he was the one they sent to deal with this problem.
