Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 612: The Dao Generation Realm Completely Reforged

Grey reset the clone and began the experiment anew.

This time, both the Dao of Space and Dao of Gravity poured their resonance power into the simulation. The energies swirled together, merging with the clone’s Source.

Boom!

The clone’s body shattered once more.

Its existence expanded beyond the confines of normal reality, stretching into higher dimensions. The Source absorbed both Dao resonances simultaneously, each one amplifying the other.

Grey’s eyes widened as he observed the results.

The clone’s power had doubled.

Before, with just the Dao of Space, the clone had reached the equivalent of 10th Rank First Level. Now, with both Daos working in harmony, its strength had surged to 10th Rank Third Level.

”Two times the amplification,” Grey breathed.

His mind raced with the implications.

The traditional Dao Generation method limited evolvers to a single Dao Seed. One Dao, one anchor, one source of amplification. But his path had no such restriction.

If an evolver comprehended multiple laws to the Great Circle, they could resonate with multiple Daos simultaneously. Each additional Dao would multiply their amplification rather than simply adding to it.

”This just changed up everything the endless reality has seen so far.” Grey mumbled.

The Dao of Space’s voice echoed in his mind. ”Perfect One, this is unprecedented. No cultivation system has ever allowed for multiple Dao amplification.”

”That’s because they were limited by the Dao Seed concept,” Grey replied. ”My path uses the Source directly. There’s no seed restricting the number of resonances.”

He stored the data and immediately entered the Creator Invocation Space again.

This time, he sought out a different entity entirely.

The Dao of Power.

Grey reached out to it through the creator space.

For a long moment, nothing responded.

Then, its presence descended upon the space.

”You seek my resonance? Perfect One?” It’s voice rang out.

”Yep.” Grey replied. ”I’m perfecting the 9th rank of my evolutionary path.”

The Dao of Power remained silent for several seconds.

”I have observed your experiments with my fellow Daos,” it finally said. ”Your methods are... interesting.”

”Will you lend me your resonance power?” Grey asked directly.

”Very well. But know this, across the endless reality, I only have one thousand resonators.”

Grey’s expression shifted with surprise. ”Only one thousand?”

”The threshold for my resonance is far higher than other Daos,” the Dao of Power explained. ”Most evolvers cannot endure the weight of absolute authority. Their Sources shatter before the connection completes. Do you think your clone can handle it?”

One thousand resonators across infinite realities. That was an impossibly small number, but it also meant the reward for achieving that resonance must be extraordinary.

Grey smiled at it’s word. ”Don’t worry. My Path Simulation is extremely complex and won’t crumble that easily.”

”Alright. I shall lend you my Dao Resonance.”

The Dao of Power soon granted its resonance.

Grey returned to his Lesser Heaven space and reset the clone once more. This time, he fed it the resonance of all three Daos, Space, Gravity, and Power.

The transformation was violent.

The clone’s existence exploded outward, reality itself bending around its ascending form. The Source absorbed all three resonances, each one multiplying the effect of the others.

Grey watched the power readings climb.

10th Rank Third Level.

10th Rank Fifth Level.

10th Rank Seventh Level.

The climb continued until it finally stabilized at 10th Rank Ninth Level.

”Four times amplification,” Grey whispered.

The Dao of Power’s resonance had doubled the multiplier yet again. If a normal Dao Generation cultivator reached 10th Rank First Level at breakthrough, his triple-resonance method achieved nearly ten times that strength.

No wonder there were so few Dao of Power resonators.

The reward was extraordinary, but the requirement was equally extreme. Only those who had comprehended the Law of Power to the Great Circle could even attempt the resonance.

Grey stored the complete data and stepped back from the simulation.

”And so the path for Dao Generation, for those who still want to use the Dao as an amplifier, is complete,” he said with satisfaction.

But his work was not finished.

He had created a far more powerful variation of Dao Generation. Now he needed to create a variant equally powerful, one that required no Dao at all.

But matching this amplification, he did not know how exactly he was going to achieve the same result with no Dao.

Grey sat in contemplation, his mind processing countless possibilities.

The Dao served a specific purpose in transcendence. By forming a Dao Generating Seed, an evolver anchored their existence to something beyond universal law. The Dao they comprehended served as a bridge, connecting them to the multiversal fabric itself.

This connection was what enabled true transcendence.

Without a Dao, he needed to find an alternative anchor. Something that could serve the same purpose without requiring Dao-level comprehension.

Source?

No, that was the thing being transcended, not the anchor.

Axiom Power?

It didn’t work like that.

Grey frowned as each option failed his analysis.

The Dao was uniquely suited for this purpose because it represented perfection within its domain. That perfection gave it the stability and authority needed to anchor transcendence.

Then his expression turned strange.

”Wait. Perfection?” Grey mumbled.

His eyes lit up with sudden realization.

He possessed something that embodied perfection far more completely than any Dao ever could. Something that existed as the absolute central anchor of all reality.

Nexus Energy.

The supreme transcendental energy of absolute perfection. It served as the foundational point upon which life, matter, space, time, and dimensions depended.

If a Dao could anchor transcendence because of its perfection within a single domain, then Nexus Energy could anchor transcendence across all domains simultaneously.

But there was a problem.

Nexus Energy was not accessible to others. He was the only Nexus Saint in existence, the sole wielder of that supreme power.

The only thing common to his pathstriders was their closeness to perfection and their connection to the Summit of Nexus.

”Wait.” Grey’s eyes widened dramatically.

”The Summit of Nexus. It can work!”

His mind began turning like a high-speed windmill, connections forming rapidly.

[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By understanding the principles of a standalone path, you’ve grasped the intention of true independence from common external needs.]

Information flooded his consciousness as the Chaos Lotus activated. Insights that had been hovering at the edge of understanding suddenly crystallized into perfect clarity.

Grey immediately entered the Summit of Nexus.

The vast dimension stretched before him, its golden expanse dotted with countless lit anchors. Each anchor represented a pathstrider who had connected to this place, their souls permanently linked to the summit itself.

Grey grinned.

”I already found a way to achieve 9th rank without Dao.”

”The Summit of Nexus!”

Think about it. Daos existed within the scope of the heavens. Normal evolvers anchored themselves to the heavens when they transcended.

But where did the pathstriders of the Aether path anchor themselves?

The Summit of Nexus.

They were already connected to it from the moment they began cultivating his path. The anchor already existed!

The Summit of Nexus would be the amplifier!

[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By understanding the power of the Summit of Nexus, you’ve learned how to connect the Creator Invocation Space to the Summit of Nexus.]

Light burst from Grey’s body as the Creator Invocation Space and the Summit of Nexus began forming a resonance. Two supreme dimensions linked together, creating a bridge that transcended normal reality.

At the same time, Grey created a new branch in the Creator Space for the 9th rank.

He added a single rule: The closer one is to perfection, the more amplification one will achieve.

It was so simple that no one would believe it to be true.

But starting now, the amplification would come from the Summit itself. The Summit of Nexus, the very embodiment of absolute perfection, would serve as the anchor for transcendence.

Grey returned to his Lesser Heaven space to test the theory.

He created a new clone, this one configured as a pure pathstrider of his Aether evolutionary path.

The clone’s perfection scale read 60%.

That percentage was based on Grey himself as the reference point. The highest limit the Aether evolutionary path could theoretically reach was 70% perfection, assuming perfect cultivation with no deviations.

But 70% wasn’t needed.

Grey initiated the transcendence.

The Summit of Nexus responded immediately.

Golden light flooded the clone’s Source, the power of absolute perfection pouring into its existence. The resonance was different from Dao amplification, it was purer, more fundamental.

The clone’s dimensionality shifted.

Its power began climbing.

Grey watched the readings with growing surprise.

10th Rank First Level.

10th Rank Fourth Level.

10th Rank Eighth Level.

The climb continued.

10th Rank Tenth Level.

10th Rank Eleventh Level.

It finally stabilized at 10th Rank Twelfth Level.

No, It was more like the psuedo-11th rank.

Grey stared at the results in speechless.

A 60% perfected being, at the first level of the 9th rank, had achieved power equivalent to the psuedo-11th rank!

That was beyond anything the Dao amplification method could achieve unless they had a significant amount of Daos.

The Heavenly Dao’s fragment materialized beside him, its form flickering with visible shock.

”Y-you... what did you do?”

The Dao of Space, the Dao of Gravity, even the Dao of Power, all of them stared at the clone’s readings with disbelief.

Grey grinned widely at their reaction.

”I just removed the need for Dao with my own path.”

”To depend on the Dao is to depend on External Needs. My Path now doesn’t necessarily require any Dao to Transcend.”

This amplification would achieve greater results than those who reached 9th rank through law comprehension. The Summit of Nexus provided a more fundamental connection to perfection than any single Dao could offer.

Of course, the results still depended on the perfection of the user.

If the evolver crossing into 9th rank was a true follower of his path, with no external influence or previous evolutionary contamination, they should theoretically have a perfection scale between 40-70%.

Others who had switched paths or carried residual influences would range between 40-50% maximum.

It wouldn’t go below that.

The minimum amplification still exceeded standard Dao Generation by a significant margin.

Grey leaned back with a satisfied smile.

”I’m a genius.”

The Daos remained silent, unable to refute his claim.

But one thing remained incomplete.

He needed a name for this rank.

The Dao Generation Realm worked for those who still wanted Dao amplification. But his Dao-free variant needed its own identity, something that captured the essence of what it represented.

Grey’s eyes flickered with contemplation.

Eventually, he came up with a name.
