Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 610: Zenith Heaven, Changing the 9th Rank Forever and Recreating Simulation Space

Grey stepped out of his room.

The partial Nexus Race fusion had changed him in ways he was still discovering. But for now, he wanted to spend time with the people who mattered most.

He found Alissa, Lia, and Valeria waiting for him in one of the private lounges.

He decided to spend some quality time with all three of them.

It wasn’t often when all of them were together.

The hours that followed were filled with warmth and laughter.

They talked, they joked, they simply enjoyed each other’s company.

Grey cherished every moment of it.

Later that evening, he made his way to his parents’ quarters.

Angela spotted him first.

”My little silver,” she rushed forward and pulled him into a tight embrace, ”You’ve been working too hard, I can tell.”

Grey smiled and returned the hug gently.

”I’m fine, Mom.”

Anderson stood nearby, his stern expression softening as he watched the scene. The Patriarch of the Arclight family nodded at his son with obvious pride in his eyes.

”You’ve grown stronger again,” Anderson observed, ”I can sense it even without trying.”

”Maybe I did grow just a little, haha.” Grey admitted.

Juli sat on a nearby couch, her porcelain doll expression revealing nothing. But when Grey walked over and sat beside her, she leaned slightly toward him without realizing it.

Grey reached out and ruffled her hair affectionately.

”Brother...” She protested weakly, but made no move to stop him.

”You need to grow stronger too, Juli,” Grey said softly, his voice carrying genuine concern, ”We still need to find Grandpa in the upper realm after all.”

The room fell silent at those words.

His parents were also having similar thoughts.

Their father, Wilhelm has been gone for way too long with no message from him.

What if something had gone wrong up in the Higher Realms?

”I understand,” Julie replied to Grey, ”I will work hard to Evolve.”

Grey smiled and patted her head one more time.

”Good. When I’m free, I’ll help you reach the 8th rank. Of course, I won’t make it easy. You have to earn it.”

Julie nodded with a serious look.

The rest of the evening passed normally, filled with the kind of family moments that Grey treasured deeply.

Later that night, Grey returned to his room alone.

He sat by the window, staring out at the stars beyond. His mind drifted toward something that had been weighing on him for a while now.

The Higher Realm.

It existed above the current cosmic structure, a place where beings of unimaginable power resided. His grandfather was somewhere out there, and his current situation was still unknown.

Most importantly, Wilhelm knew a lot of things that could answer a lot of questions about the Earth Grey had. He had to find him and he needed to do it fast.

There was also the Fate Race and disappearance of Bai Yue.

Bai Yue was his second biggest concern after Wilhelm.

She was either a Paragon or someone from the Fate Race, there was no in between and only finding her would he be able to get to the bottom of it.

Chances are she is also in the Higher Realm.

But to reach that place, he needed to become far stronger than he currently was.

Grey reviewed his current state.

His cultivation sat at the peak of the 8th Rank. But his actual combat power had reached the pseudo-10th Rank thanks to his path and axiom power.

But that wasn’t enough. Now, it was time to take the next step.

The 9th Rank was called the Dao Generation Realm.

Grey accessed his stored databases, pulling up everything he knew about this stage. The information flowed through his mind rapidly, organized by his server into clear categories.

Dao Generation dealt with forming something called a Dao Generating Seed.

This seed represented the transcendence of one’s existence to a higher level. It required fusing one’s source with a comprehended Dao, creating a new foundation that would elevate all aspects of power.

Those who succeeded would experience explosive growth in strength, defense, speed, and comprehension.

Grey already possessed something that qualified.

His Divine Law of Thunder had reached a level equivalent to true Dao comprehension. He could technically use it to form his Dao Generating Seed right now.

But that felt wrong to him.

Grey’s fingers tapped against his knee as he thought deeply.

The mainstream Dao Generation method required a Dao. That was its fundamental limitation. Evolvers who hadn’t comprehended a Dao to sufficient levels simply couldn’t advance, no matter how powerful they were otherwise.

His evolutionary path was supposed to be different.

The Nexus Path, the Aether Path, whatever name it carried, it was meant to be accessible to everyone. Requiring Dao comprehension at this stage would create another bottleneck for those who followed his system.

Grey made his decision.

He was going to completely restructure the 9th Rank of his path.

The Dao Generation Realm would not require a Dao at all. Instead, he would create an alternative method that achieved the same transcendence through different means.

But first, he needed to understand exactly how Dao Generation worked.

Theory alone wasn’t enough. He needed practical data, simulations, concrete information about the mechanics behind the breakthrough process.

Grey stood up and begin entering the Creator Space.

....

At the same same time, far away in the Higher Realm called Zenith Heaven, the world was glitching rapidly and outside it stood an entity with black body and glowing blue eyes.

”Is he here?”

....

As Grey entered the creator space the familiar expanse of the virtual reality filled with evolutionary scholars greeted him. He navigated toward the Path Simulation Chamber.

The chamber doors slid open.

Grey stepped inside, ready to spawn a simulation clone and begin his analysis. But before he could access the controls, a familiar presence materialized beside him.

It was Eterna.

”Grey,” she said. ”The simulation chamber cannot process 9th Rank cultivation, the computational requirements exceed even our combined processing power.”

Grey blinked hearing this.

Then he laughed softly, shaking his head.

”Right, I almost forgot about that.”

He was already at a stage that was beyond the capabilities of a universe. That made sense.

The Path Simulation Chamber was powered by Eve, Eterna, and Order working together. But even three supreme AIs had their limits when dealing with Dao-level phenomena.

Grey then eyed Eterna more closely.

”Where have you been lately?” He asked curiously. ”It’s been a while since we talked.”

Eterna nodded.

”I’ve been spending more time with my sisters,” she admitted, ”Eve and Order wanted to spend together, and I... also wanted to reconnect with them.”

Grey nodded with understanding.

”That makes sense, I won’t disturb your family time then.”

Eterna nodded once more.

”Actually, before you go,” Grey thought for a moment and said, ”Can you give me complete access to the simulation path data? Everything about how the chamber processes evolutionary information.”

Eterna tilted her head curiously.

”You want to build your own simulation system?”

”Something like that,” Grey confirmed, ”I have an idea.”

Eterna didn’t hesitate. Streams of data flowed from her avatar directly into Grey’s server, carrying the complete architectural blueprints of the Path Simulation Chamber.

”Done,” she said, ”Be careful with it, the processing requirements are immense.”

Grey smiled.

”I have my own solution for that.”

He had the Infinity Mind now.

Eterna nodded and faded away, returning to whatever processes she was running with her sisters.

Grey exited the Creator Space and returned to his physical body.

He immediately accessed the data Eterna had provided, his server organizing the information into usable categories. The Path Simulation Chamber was incredibly complex, a masterpiece of combined AI engineering.

But Grey didn’t need to replicate it exactly.

He only needed the core principles.

His golden eyes flickered with circuit patterns as he activated his Mecha Race abilities. Data Energy surged through his existence, allowing him to perceive reality as pure mathematical calculation.

The Lesser Heaven space within him expanded in response.

This internal dimension was part of his racial inheritance, a personal realm that existed entirely within his own existence. It could store anything he consumed, and more importantly, it operated on different rules than external reality.

Grey began constructing.

Lines of code materialized within his Lesser Heaven space, forming the foundation of a personal simulation system. The architecture borrowed from Eterna’s designs but adapted everything for his unique physiology.

Processing power wouldn’t be an issue.

The Infinity Mind technique had removed all limitations from his server. He could run calculations indefinitely without accumulating any strain.

The simulation framework took shape rapidly.

Grey wove his comprehension of formation principles into the design, treating the entire system like a massive programmable array. Convergence points formed naturally, connected by lines that carried data instead of essence.

Soon, it was complete.

A personal simulation dimension, powered by infinite processing, capable of modeling cultivation phenomena that external systems couldn’t handle.

Grey tested the system with a simple calculation.

The response was instantaneous.

He smiled with satisfaction. The foundation was complete, now he just needed to input the right data and begin his real work.

Understanding Dao Generation.
