Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 601: Understanding the Chaos Power and Rebirth of the Universe

Silence filled the shattered white dimension, the countless fragments of broken reality slowly drifting through the endless void like scattered pieces of a forgotten dream. In the very center, a constantly shifting object quietly floated, emitting neither pressure nor hostility.

Yet merely looking at it made space distort.

Grey slowly walked toward it, his footsteps echoing through nothingness. Alan and Alissa silently followed behind, their eyes fixed on the object ahead.

The closer Grey got, the more unstable reality became.

Distances lost meaning, time began flowing inconsistently, and the Codex constantly changed shape. One moment it resembled a crystalline cube, the next an endless spiral, then countless overlapping dimensions folded into one another.

Grey quietly reached forward.

His fingers touched it.

The instant contact was made, notifications rapidly appeared and his own Chaos Source Codex begin merging with the one before him.

[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By observing the Chaos Source Codex, you have gained insight into Chaos State Power.]

Reality itself unfolded before him, not as mere information entering his mind, but as direct experience.

He witnessed countless timelines stretching across infinite directions, universes being born and dying in the same breath. Civilizations rose to heights beyond imagination, only to crumble into dust moments later.

Stars exploded into supernovas, galaxies collided and merged, entire realities restarted from nothing.

Chaos State Power was not merely destruction.

It was the force that returned everything to its origin.

Every law, every form, every existence could be reduced back into primordial chaos, where all distinctions ceased to exist.

And from that same chaos, all things could be born once more.

Hence, the time power the Angel of Chaos had.

It was just Chaos.

Grey quietly opened his eyes.

”So this is Chaos State Power.”

He smiled slightly, understanding much more than before. Yet he also realized how little he truly knew, how vast the gap between comprehension and mastery truly was.

”I’m still nowhere near using it.”

Grey studied the Chaos Source Codex further.

The Codex constantly folded into higher-dimensional structures, entire layers existing beyond the twelfth dimension.

Some portions appeared while others disappeared, some dimensions overlapped while others existed simultaneously. The structure defied logic, defied space, defied everything Grey understood about reality.

Even with Nexus Energy flowing through him, most of its structure remained incomprehensible. He only saw fragments, glimpses of something far greater than himself.

Yet compared to before, he noticed something different.

”More layers.”

Previously the Codex had appeared almost sealed, its depths hidden behind countless barriers. Now new layers continuously revealed themselves, unfolding like petals of an infinite flower.

He quietly realized something.

”The Chaos Emperor’s consciousness still hasn’t fully formed, it is still sleeping.” Grey’s eyes narrowed as he further commented.

The Chaos Source Codex slowly transformed into streams of dimensional light, shimmering threads of pure information weaving through the void. Instead of entering Grey physically, it merged with his Source, settling quietly beside his Nexus Source.

His understanding begin deepening when it entered him.

Grey slowly turned around, his expression softening as he looked at his companions.

”Is everyone alright?”

Alan checked himself, patting his chest and arms as if confirming he still existed.

”I thought I died. Mater.”

Alissa gently nodded, her silver hair swaying slightly. ”I’m alright.”

Grey smiled faintly. ”I’m glad.”

The tense atmosphere finally relaxed, the weight of battle lifting from their shoulders.

”So what’s our next course of action?” Alan asked after a moment of silence.

Grey looked around the completely shattered dimension, taking in the endless fragments of broken reality. There was almost nothing left, only scattered pieces drifting through the void.

”The Chaos Source Codex was the inconsistency, it continuously reset this universe.” Grey’s voice was calm, almost contemplative. ”Now it has been stopped forever.”

He explained further, his words painting a picture of the truth they had uncovered.

Every battle, every reset, every destroyed civilization, all had originated from the Codex constantly looping reality.

Now that influence had disappeared.

The universe had finally become stable, freed from its eternal cycle.

However during their battle, everything else had been destroyed, nothing remaining but fragments.

”There is only one possible outcome now.” Grey looked toward the endless darkness surrounding them. ”Rebirth.”

Grey slowly raised his hand.

He gently waved it.

The remaining dimension finally lost all stability, reality quietly crumbling like sand slipping through fingers. Mountains dissolved, space folded upon itself, time unwound into nothingness.

Dimensions collapsed one after another.

Everything dissolved into white particles, scattering across the void like snow falling upward. Alan and Alissa silently watched.

Soon nothing remained.

Absolute darkness surrounded them, an emptiness so complete that even the concept of space seemed meaningless. Then a tiny point of light appeared, a single spark in the infinite void.

A new universe began expanding.

Stars were born in violent explosions of color and energy, galaxies emerged from swirling clouds of cosmic dust. Life had yet to exist, but the foundation was being laid, the stage being set for countless futures.

Grey quietly watched the birth of another cosmos.

Grey sensed countless possibilities branching outward from this moment.

”The Alogians will return.”

Grey smiled.

”But this time they won’t inherit the Cyber-Chaos Evolutionary Path.”

Instead he raised one finger, a small wisp of Nexus information appearing at its tip. It glowed with a soft golden light, containing something far more precious than power.

It flew toward the newborn universe.

Grey sent it into reality itself, weaving it into the very fabric of existence.

”They’ll walk my Evolutionary Path.”

The information quietly dispersed, becoming invisible, becoming part of everything. Once intelligent life evolved again, the foundation of Grey’s evolution system would naturally spread throughout the universe.

No one would notice it.

Not even the universe itself.

”What about the old Evolutionary path, master, do you have it?” Alan asked after a long moment.

He himself was quite interested in it.

”It wasn’t destroyed.” He explained with a smile.

The Cyber-Chaos Evolutionary Path had been preserved by the Chaos Source Codex.

Every loop, every civilization, every experiment, every technique, every cultivation method, all had been continuously recorded inside the Chaos Source Codex. The Codex functioned as the perfect archive for this world.

Now those records belonged to Grey.

If he wished he could recreate the Cyber-Chaos Evolutionary Path at any time. Or he could improve it further, combining it with his own understanding.
