Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1939: Chapter 1933: Pouring Wine

”Really? How come I didn’t know?” Tian Ermei said, thinking that this old lady seemed to resemble An Hui.

”Would the old lady lie to you?”

Ermei instantly became alert. Without saying a word, she turned around and walked back.

Yet she hadn’t walked more than a few steps when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned sharply, and a heavy blow landed on her forehead.

Her vision went black and she collapsed to the ground.

After a long time, Tian Ermei awoke from her coma, opening her eyes to find herself in an unfamiliar room.

A bundle of cloth stuffed her mouth, her body bound by rope, with the other end tied to the bedpost.

Just as she wanted to struggle, she heard voices coming from the outer room.

”How could you be so stupid? This was supposed to be an easy play, and now you’ve ruined it,” said the old lady she had seen that evening.

”She completely ignored me when I talked to her. Didn’t you say to lead him to a deserted place? She ignored me, how could I lead her? Drag her?” An Hui replied irritably.

”Things are already like this. What good is anger? The person is already bound, what do we do next?” An Baoguo asked.

”When she wakes up, pour alcohol down her throat. The more, the better, best to get her drunk.”

Jiang Guixiang said.

”Exactly! If she’s drunk, she’ll be easy to handle!” An Baoguo echoed.

”But what if she wakes up later?” An Hui worried that once she woke up, she wouldn’t comply and might expose the matter.

”Find some people to act. Pay them to perform before her. Pretend she’s been taken advantage of by someone else, then you show up as the hero saving the beauty...”

”Is this reliable?”

”Why wouldn’t it be? Otherwise, really find a few people? By then, she’ll be ruined, do you think An Ping would still want her? Even if not An Ping, no man could tolerate such a thing happening to his wife, right?” Jiang Guixiang said.

In those days when chastity was valued more than life, such terrifying events truly occurred.

Tian Ermei began to sob, tears streaming down.

The muffled, suppressed cries carried to the outer room, startling them.

”Did she hear?” An Hui worriedly asked.

”Do you care if she heard or not! Hurry and make a decision!”

After Jiang Guixiang spoke, An Baoguo covered his face with a sweater, grabbed a bottle of alcohol from the kitchen, and entered the room.

Ermei saw someone coming, terrified, trembling all over, her cries intensifying.

”Stay quiet. If you keep crying, you’ll suffer later.” An Baoguo threatened Tian Ermei.

Tian Ermei remained frightened; in a situation like this, in such a room, nobody would hear her cries.

She truly didn’t know what to do.

When An Baoguo removed the cloth from her mouth, Ermei screamed.

Smack!

A heavy slap landed on her face.

”Cry again, and you’ll see what happens!” After An Baoguo spoke, he pinched her chin, shoved the bottle into her mouth, and poured the choking liquor in, ”Swallow it hard.”

Tian Ermei couldn’t move, the alcohol continuously poured into her mouth, forcing her to swallow.
