“Spirit Trees, Spirit Trees… and they need to be of high quality…” As Thorns mulled over this, her eyes flickered with a sharp glint.

Although she did not know why her Master was seeking Spirit Trees, since it was his request, she naturally intended to do her best.

And, as luck would have it, she had recently cultivated a rather extraordinary Spirit Tree.

Furthermore, this particular Spirit Tree had surprisingly reached Tier-4.

There were only a handful of Tier-4 Spirit Trees in the entire Demon Court, but she, Queen Thorns, had one.

This tree was rooted within the Blood Sea, and was a Demonic Tree— the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree.

The Dragon Blood Spirit Tree, its name sounded quite impressive, but it was an extremely bloodthirsty Demonic Tree.

Just standing next to it gave one the eerie illusion that their blood was being drained. And if someone were to touch it, especially with an open wound, within seconds it would drain every last drop of their blood.

That was just how terrifying the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree was.

However, despite its sinister nature, this tree bore Dragon Blood Sacred Fruits, a treasure for those who practiced the Dao of Blood, such as Thorns or Kerry.

Just one of these fruits had pushed Thorns from the Late Stage of Tier-4 to the Demigod Realm.

Now, she planned to use several more of these fruits to attempt a breakthrough to Tier-5.

However…

“Since Master needs it, I’ll give it to him for now. I’ll ask for some Dragon Blood Sacred Fruits later.” With a soft murmur, a smile crept across Thorns’ face.

If anyone else had asked for the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree, Thorns would have instantly cut them off before they could even finish their sentence.

But for her Master, it was a different story.

She would offer it up with both hands, without a second thought.

Not long after Thorns made her decision, the depths of the Blood Sea within the Realm of Darkness began to tremble. Soon, the sea grew tumultuous, with wave after wave crashing violently against the shore.

This Blood Sea, originally located in the Abyssal Prison of Misty Mountains on Earth, had been moved along with the Abyssal Prison to the Realm of Darkness after the Misty Mountains got renamed as the Demon Court and their headquarters relocated to the Nine Realms. The Realm of Darkness was, after all, Thorns’ favorite realm.

The Dragon Blood Spirit Tree was the very foundation of the Blood Sea. Thus, uprooting it would naturally disturb the entire Blood Sea.

…

Not long after, deep within the Realm of Life…

Under Yu Zi Yu’s slightly astonished gaze, a strange tree, blood-red in color and its form resembling a massive Dragon rising into the sky, appeared before him.

“Master, I just learned that you were looking for Spirit Trees… so I brought this Tier-4 Spirit Tree for you.”

“Tier-4?” Yu Zi Yu’s corner of eye twitched in surprise.

Up until now, Yu Zi Yu had no idea that Thorns possessed a Tier-4 Spirit Tree.

Certainly, a Tier-4 Spirit Tree must have been a priceless treasure to her. Moreover, it was a Blood-Attribute Spirit Tree, making it the perfect fit for Thorns.

Yet, she had brought it over so casually, without hesitation.

Even White Tiger and Nine Tails, who stood not far away, were stunned.

A Tier-4 Spirit Tree was something that could cause chaos in the outside world, stirring up a bloodbath. Even a Tier-5 True Gods would be hard-pressed not to fight for it.

After all, Spirit Trees and Spirit Flowers faced the greatest difficulty in gaining sentience, making their evolution exceptionally challenging. Thus, a Spirit Tree like the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree, which had not even gained sentience yet but had reached Tier-4 quality, must have taken an immense amount of Thorns’ effort to nurture.

At this moment, Yu Zi Yu realized why Thorns frequently went to various battlefields to collect blood.

All this time, he had thought it was merely for her cultivation needs. It never occurred to him that she was secretly nurturing a Tier-4 Spirit Tree.

“You…” With a slightly stiff voice, Yu Zi Yu sighed, then said, “This must be your most precious treasure, right? You did not need to bring it…”

Wrinkling her nose, Thorns, with a hint of dissatisfaction, responded, “*Hmph*, then what do you suggest, Master? I’ve already cut the roots of this Dragon Blood Spirit Tree. If I put it back in the Blood Sea, I won’t be able to keep it alive…”

As she said this, Thorns casually tossed the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree toward Yu Zi Yu.

Of course, Yu Zi Yu chose to ignore her claim of not being able to ‘keep it alive.’

That might fool others, but trying to deceive Yu Zi Yu, who was also a Tree, was a bit much.

With his sharp vision, he could tell at a glance that the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree could still root itself in the Blood Sea. It had merely suffered a bit of damage to its vitality.

However, seeing the resolute expression on Thorns’ face, Yu Zi Yu sighed in his heart, realizing that she had her mind made up already.

Yu Zi Yu felt completely helpless, yet also somewhat pleased. For her to give up such a treasure—one she had put so much effort into cultivating to Tier-4—it was clear how loyal Thorns was to him.

More importantly, Yu Zi Yu vaguely sensed that Thorns’ aura was linked to the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree.

[If I’m not wrong, this tree is likely the foundation of her cultivation. At the very least, for now, she can’t stray far from the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree. Yet, despite all that…]

“This girl…” With a long sigh, Yu Zi Yu’s mind began to form a plan.

Since Thorns had gifted him such a grand offering, it was only right that he repays her accordingly.

With that thought, Yu Zi Yu sent everyone away, including Nine Tails, White Tiger, and the others, leaving only Thorns behind.

“Master, what are you…?” Watching as everyone left, Thorns was bewildered.

“Do you know why I’m collecting Spirit Trees?” Yu Zi Yu suddenly asked with a playful tone.

“Uh…” Thorns was taken aback, then shook her head slightly, replying, “No, I don’t…”

“I see…” With a soft chuckle, Yu Zi Yu channeled his Spiritual Energy.

In the next moment, under Thorns’ astonished gaze—

*Booooooom…* With a sudden roar, the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree she had just thrown on the ground trembled violently. And along with it, a mysterious aura began to rise.

The aura was extremely profound, and could not be explained in words.

What Thorns found even more incredible was that the blood in her body began to boil, as if something was pulling at it.

At that moment, noticing something, Thorns’ face changed dramatically. Because, to her shock, the Dragon Blood Spirit Tree lying on the ground slowly began to stand up.

Moreover, its body kept growing taller. Even its appearance was changing.
