An assassin’s battle never lasts long.

In just under half an hour, the two figures had already pulled back dozens of meters, standing apart from each other.

At that moment, as they gazed at each other, their breathing steadied, and a glimmer of admiration flashed in their eyes.

“As expected of the Leader, that beast-like offensive is truly terrifying…” Nana praised, bringing a rare smile on Zi Lian’s face.

However, as someone who struggled with compliments, after hesitating several times, Zi Lian could only manage a stiff response, “You… are… quite good…”

What Nana did not know was that Zi Lian, who was usually silent and taciturn, rarely praised anyone.

When he did, it meant true recognition.

As a fellow assassin, Zi Lian had acknowledged Nana. Her attacks were sharper, deadlier, and stemmed from the assassination techniques passed down for millennia by the Dark Elves.

According to the legends, part of Reaper of Stars and Moon’s inheritance included battle experience.

This was why Nana, despite her youth, possessed such godly, unfathomable skills.

Meanwhile, Yu Zi Yu was no longer focused on the two of them. Rather than paying attention to their duel, Yu Zi Yu had something more important to consider—himself.

“Finally, there’s hope…” a soft murmur escaped his lips, and a trace of a smile appeared deep in Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

After all this time, he finally had hope of attempting the breakthrough to the Fifth Order of Tier-6.

Tier-6 was divided into Nine Orders. Each Order was a metamorphosis of his body.

Ordinary beings who stepped into Tier-6 typically only reached the First or Second Order. Even for prodigies of high-ranking Races like the Titans or Dragons, reaching the Third Order was their limit.

As for who managed to achieve the Fourth Order upon reaching Tier-6 were so rare that only a few appeared each era. They were the true geniuses of geniuses. Such experts could rely on their physical bodies alone to contend with others at the same Tier, boasting unimaginable power. They were the embodiment of the term ‘invincible at the same level.’

Yu Zi Yu was one of those monsters. When he stepped into Tier-6, he had already reached the Fourth Order.

And now, he was attempting to reach the Fifth Order.

It was almost surreal. Yu Zi Yu had only been at Tier-6 for a few years, and yet he was already pushing for the Fifth Order. This was an extremely incredible feat. After all, each transformation was a complete metamorphosis of his body.

According to the legends, a Seventh Order Tier-6 could even challenge a Hegemon.

And the fabled Eighth Order, which no one had achieved in countless eras, was believed to hold the potential to contend with an Eternal.

And now, within just a few short years, Yu Zi Yu was already pushing towards the Fifth Order.

“Uh…” A million thoughts raced through Yu Zi Yu’s mind. Even he found it hard to believe. Yet, he could clearly feel the presence of a ‘bottleneck.’

Yet, this bottleneck seemed like something he could break through using Evolution Points.

“By using Evolution Points to enhance my entire body, I can break through the Fourth Order and ascend directly to the Fifth Order…” murmuring to himself, a firm resolve flashed in Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

All this while, his Spiritual Energy had been steadily growing. And now, his body could achieve another breakthrough.

There was no denying that it was a great fortune for him.

Many Tier-7 Hegemons had only managed to temper their bodies to the Third or Fourth Order at Tier-6. Yet now, Yu Zi Yu was already at the Fourth Order, and was now pushing towards the Fifth Order!

*Hooooo…* Yu Zi Yu took a deep breath, trying to reign in the surge of excitement in him.

[I’ve no idea what the Fifth Order of Tier-6 would bring. But according to the Golden Monkey, each of the Nine Orders of Tier-6 is a deeper exploration of one’s potential.

After the Fourth Order, each subsequent Order gives birth to terrifying abilities comparable to Divine Abilities. For example, abilities like limb regeneration or an impervious body.]

[Limb regeneration is useless to me. My true form is that of a Divine Tree; as long as there’s Life Force within me, I can regenerate. If I were to develop such an ability, it would actually be the least beneficial…] With a playful chuckle, Yu Zi Yu glanced at his Evolution Points.

He had two billion Evolution Points left. After the last suppression of the Zergs, during which he harvested nearly ten billion Evolution Points, most of the Evolution Points had been used to enhance his Innate Talents. And the remaining points were spent on strengthening various abilities.

Now, only two billion remain. But that was enough.

With a smile in his heart, Yu Zi Yu directly stated, [System, I want to use my Evolution Points to upgrade my body…]

[Confirm.] With a slight nod, Yu Zi Yu confirmed the action.

The moment he did…

*Rumble, rumble…*

With a series of thunderous booms, Yu Zi Yu’s True Form, rooted in outer space, shook violently, with his entire body radiating a dazzling light.

The light was extremely bright and blinding, shooting in all directions.

For a time, the glow emanating from Yu Zi Yu’s body even rivaled the Sun in the Solar System.

But that was not the most terrifying thing.

The truly frightening part was that Yu Zi Yu could feel his body undergoing a profound transformation.

Mysterious energy surged through him, causing every cell in his body to evolve.

Each of his branches was evolving. Even the roots embedded in space began a new round of transformation.

*Hiss, hiss…* One after another, loud hisses echoed, as out of Yu Zi Yu’s 81 secondary roots, apart from the Soaring Purple Flood Dragon and the Cosmic Root that had transformed into a Void Elf, the other 79 roots all transformed into ‘Flood Dragons,’ that raised their heads to the sky and roared.

The Flood Dragons were not their true forms. Rather, it was a symbol.

A symbol that their Hierarchy of Life had reached the same tier as that of Flood Dragons.

Above the Flood Dragon, there were True Dragons, and above the True Dragon, there were Primordial Sacred Spirits…

And now, as 79 ‘Flood Dragons’ roared at the sky, layers upon layers of scales began to appear on their bodies, just like the scales of real Flood Dragons.
