“You little rascal…” With a soft sigh, Yu Zi Yu looked at the determined Zi Lian, a complex expression crossing his face.

[Zi Lian… this kid is astonishingly loyal. But perhaps that’s not a bad thing. Having such a devoted shadow by my side can be quite advantageous.]

[With Zi Lian’s return, it signals the complete assembly of the Seven Shadow Assassins.

The leadership should rest with either Zi Lian or King Zerg, both formidable at Tier-5. Their terrifying power, coupled with their unmatched assassination skills, makes them ideal candidates for the role. Even throughout the cosmos, they stand out as some of the finest assassins.

As for the rest of the team, there’s Owl, gifted with her Spatial Innate Talent; Zang Feng, who bears the Bloodline of the Silvermoon Heavenly Wolf; and Kerry, the Vampire serving Ling Er as her butler.

Each of them is perfectly suited for a place among the Shadow Assassins.

Now, for the final two…]

As if recalling something, the depths of Yu Zi Yu’s eyes sparkled with a knowing smile.

From Earth, he rose from the mundane as the ‘King of Assassins,’ known as Seven. A Tier-4 expert, he wielded his sword with one hand and was celebrated as one of China’s Four Heroes. Since joining the Demon Court as a Sentinel, he had recently showcased assassination techniques that were unrivaled, even prompting King Zerg to seek Yu Zi Yu counsel.

Under the careful consideration of Nine Tails and the Bull Demon, Seven was promoted to become a Shadow Assassin.

The other hailed from Elysia.

The Elf Clan in Elysia was vast, with numerous branches. One of these branches forged contracts with darkness, evolving into the elusive Dark Elves.

Born of shadow, these Dark Elves were true masters of assassination.

Among them, one young Dark Elf emerged as the strongest, earning the unique title of Reaper of Stars and Moon. This title was the highest honor within the Dark Elf Clan. It represented the pinnacle of assassination expertise.

The Reaper of Stars and Moon excelled in every form of killing, revered by fellow Dark Elves not merely as a teacher but as a legendary figure. Their assassination techniques had transcended mere skill to become an art form.

It was no wonder that this previously unknown individual from Elysia became a highly esteemed Shadow Assassin in just two short years.

“Reaper of Stars and Moon…” Murmuring to himself, a smile emerged on Yu Zi Yu’s face.

[Had I known there was such a magnificent title, I would have never settled on ‘Shadow Assassins.’ In comparison to the splendid name ‘Reaper of Stars and Moon,’ ‘Shadow Assassin’ feels rather lackluster…

But putting that aside, what truly matters is that the Dark Elves are a Clan of assassins, with a legacy deeply rooted in the art of assassination. If the Seven Shadow Assassins wish to advance further, they’ll need proper guidance.

And now that the Reaper of Stars and Moon, Nana, has joined our ranks, it will spare them the trouble of making a trip to Elysia.]

Thinking of this, Yu Zi Yu looked at the nearby Zi Lian, and reminded him, “Zi Lian, if you have the time, you can ask Nana for some guidance…”

“Nana…” Zi Lian was momentarily paused, finding the name unfamiliar.

[It’s only been two or three years since I’ve been away, and there’s a new figure in the Demon Court.]

Just then, noticing Zi Lian’s confusion, Yu Zi Yu took the opportunity to explain. “Nana is from the Dark Elf of Elysia and is one of the most exceptional assassins. This exceptionalism is not just about her strength but her profound understanding of the Dao of Assassination. With her guidance, I believe you all can truly make the name of Seven Shadow Assassins resound through Heaven.”

Hearing this, realization dawned upon Zi Lian. [I’m being given a Mentor!?]

Just then, as if recalling something, a rare smirk appeared at the corner of Zi Lian’s mouth, hinting at a playful tone, “Master, are you sure this person named Nana can guide me?”

As he spoke, Zi Lian’s figure silently vanished into the air.

Even Yu Zi Yu, if not paying close attention, would find it difficult to detect him.

However, that was normal; Yu Zi Yu was not particularly skilled in perception.

Still, that did not mean Yu Zi Yu was incapable of sensing things.

*Boooom…* Amidst a sudden rumble, a blood-red eye on Yu Zi Yu’s Tree Form slowly opened, and with that, the world became clearer to Yu Zi Yu.

More importantly, Yu Zi Yu saw Zi Lian’s silhouette emerging before him.

Zi Lian remained completely still. He merely retracted his aura, and camouflaged himself, successfully eluding Yu Zi Yu’s perception.

This was the terrifying aspect of the current Zi Lian: An ordinary Tier-5 would be utterly oblivious to Zi Lian. They would probably not even know how they had met their demise.

“Superb.” voicing his admiration, Yu Zi Yu nodded in satisfaction.

[Zi Lian has indeed undergone a qualitative change after stepping in Tier-5. It’s quite evident from his new ability, Camouflage. But…]

As if recalling something, a smile appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s face. [An innate assassin like Zi Lian is indeed frightening, but compared to those assassins with dozens or even hundreds of generations of systematic inheritance… he still seems a bit lacking…]

With a slight sigh, Yu Zi Yu felt increasingly that systematic inheritance and teaching were vital. He was even considering establishing an academy in the Nine Realms…

The reason he reached this decision was because Yu Zi Yu had seen Nana’s status screen with his own eyes.

It was unimaginably splendid. Few could rival her magnificence throughout the entire Demon Court.

Race: Dark Elf
Rank: Demigod Realm

Innate Talent: Nightfall — This talent grants the ability to merge seamlessly with darkness, allowing the user to perfectly conceal their aura. In addition to this stealth enhancement, Nightfall significantly boosts various recovery abilities while enveloped in shadows

However, this was just the beginning.

After reading the ability section, Yu Zi Yu then understood why Nana could bear the most prestigious title of the Dark Elf Clan—Reaper of Stars and Moon.

Unique Abilities:

Shadow Strike — Instantly teleport behind your enemy in the blink of an eye, delivering a surprise attack that leaves them reeling.

Flash Strike — Dash forward at lightning speed, executing a rapid assault that overwhelms your foes.

Leg Slash — …

Gale — …

Brutal Strike — …

Silver Moon Assassination — …

Moonwheel Dance — Unleash a mesmerizing blade technique that creates a dazzling display resembling a silver moon.

…

And those countless abilities truly forged the name ‘Reaper of Stars and Moon.’
