At this moment, deep within the Realm of Life…

Yu Zi Yu, along with Nine Tails and the others, stood in stunned silence, staring at the sky.

It was because, at this very moment, golden ripples had begun to appear in the sky. Visible to the naked eye, that golden figure grew increasingly blurry.

At this moment…

*Donggggg…* Suddenly, a thunderous bell toll echoed throughout the Realm of Life, seemingly arriving from a distant place, traveling across both time and space.

Before everyone’s eyes, a stretch of starry sky suddenly appeared in the sky of the Realm of Life. The starry sky was drawing closer at the speed of light.

Suddenly, a bright light emerged from the depths of the stars.

It was only then that everyone realized the bright light had been moving so swiftly through the starry sky that it gave the illusion of light-speed travel.

However, this was not important.

What was important was that this bright light was gradually becoming clearer, forming the shape of a ‘bell.’

*Donggggg…* Another bell sounded, as if urging to hold on.

The Nine Realms trembled. Everything seemed as though it was about to dissolve into chaos with the chime of the bell.

Yet…

Its arrival was half a step too late.

“Hahaha, victory and defeat are determined by me, not by Heaven. I laugh amidst the slaughter, accustomed to the smoke of war. In competition, Heaven has its numbers; in battle, if I lose, I no longer exist… I may have been defeated, but what about you? Hahaha…”

As if mocking, the golden phantom quietly gazed at the starry sky.

A rare sense of satisfaction filled the air along with the laughter.

However, after a brief moment…

*Boooooom…* With a thunderous roar, the golden phantom exploded into countless rays of golden light, completely dissipating between Heaven and Earth.

Only that the late arriving bell shadow caught a few rays of golden light, and everything came to a complete halt.

As if the entire world was silent, a silence filled with meaning.

Afterward…

*Donggggg, donggggg…* One bell chime after another echoed across the starry sky.

The bell tolled for a total of nine times, awakening countless ancient, slumbering beings.

Some of these beings, even those whose past life memories had not yet awakened, briefly regained clarity.

On Earth…

“Farewell…” Deep within China, an ancient figure seemed to understand something. He rose to his feet and bowed three times toward the direction from which the bell was ringing.

As an Emperor, he bowed neither to Heaven nor to the Earth.

Yet, for this individual, the Ancient Emperor who was revered throughout the universe and by all races, he had no choice but to bow.

The ‘Imperial Throne’ was born because of him, and the ‘Dao of Emperor’ was pioneered by him.

*Donggggg, donggggg…* The increasingly urgent bell chimes reverberated throughout the cosmos.

Until…

The final chime…

*Donggggg…* The starry sky trembled, and in an instant, everything fell into a deathly silence.

At that moment, the entire universe, in every corner, was hushed, as if mourning.

No one dared to speak, because an indescribable and terrifying force had suppressed the starry sky for a brief moment.

And in that instant, countless beings across the universe came to truly understand the terrifying power of a complete Imperial Artifact.

No, to be more precise, it was the terror of a ‘Primordial Imperial Artifact.’

Like an eternal presence walking through the starry sky, looking down upon all of creation.

Omnipotent, yet not without limits.

…

However, what no one knew at this time was that this priceless treasure lay quietly stranded in a Small World.

Even before its descent, the sky of this Small World was already falling apart, as if it could not bear the burden.

The terrifying aura it emitted was something even the starry sky could not endure, let alone a Small World, which was far more fragile than the starry sky.

“A New… Lord of the Demon Court, is it?” Suddenly, a vast voice resounded in Yu Zi Yu’s heart, causing him to violently tremble.

Vaguely, he felt an unseen gaze quietly focused on him.

No, it was not on him directly. It was focused on the him that had become the Heaven of the Nine Realms—the Sacred Spirit—Azure Dragon.

“You, indeed, have some good fortune.” Even after having seen through everything, the voice remained completely calm.

Throughout the ages, countless prodigies have been no more than fleeting glimpses. In the eyes of this voice, Yu Zi Yu was merely one of the more exceptional ones.

Yet, after a moment, as if recalling something, the voice spoke once more, “When you stand unrivaled within the universe and enlightened into the Eternal Realm, we shall protect your Dao once…”

As these words fell, the Nine Realms trembled, and by the time everyone reacted, the bell had long since disappeared.

Only the shattered sky, slowly mending itself, remained proof of its brief visit.

…

“What just happened?” Yu Zi Yu was in a complete daze, unable to quite grasp what had occurred.

The fact that a single sentence from Golden Monkey would summon such a world-shaking Primordial Imperial Artifact was completely out of everyone’s expectation.

“Uh…” Thousands of thoughts raced through Yu Zi Yu’s mind, but he did not know what to say.

However, it seemed he had received an incredible boon.

This Primordial Imperial Artifact had promised to protect his Dao when he reached the Eternal Realm.

This… was an extraordinary promise.

One must know that advancing into the Eternal Realm meant facing not only the terrifying Heavenly Tribulation but also the far more fearsome Human Tribulation.

No one would allow another great figure, one who could dominate the Heavens, to rise.

Had not the great serpent—the source of the Orochi lineage—failed to survive the Human Tribulation while advancing to the Eternal Realm, causing its body to split apart and never reunite for eternity?

In light of this, having someone protect his Dao could help avoid some of the calamity brought by the Human Tribulation.

In this sense, it was a great stroke of fortune.

Yet, thinking of this, Yu Zi Yu could not help but sigh.

Eternity… how difficult it was to achieve.

The current era had only just begun, and there would still be at least hundreds of billions, if not trillions, of years to come.

Over such a long span of time, at most, a few beings might achieve Eternity…

This showed just how unimaginably hard it was to get enlightened into the Eternal Realm.

Just then, a voice filled with tears of joy suddenly echoed in the sky.

“Congratulations, Master! You have earned the recognition of the Imperial Artifact. From now on, our Demon Court is of the true orthodox line… and will be protected by the Imperial Artifact…” Shouting in excitement, Golden Monkey knelt down in front of Yu Zi Yu’s body with a deep bow.

In that moment, seeing Golden Monkey’s action, Nine Tails, White Tiger, and the others exchanged glances and bowed in unison, saying, “We pay our respects to the Lord of the Demon Court…”

Their collective voices shook the Nine Heavens.

Even the distant Golden Behemoth and other powerful beings were moved, and they, too, dropped to one knee, bowing as they shouted, “We pay our respects to the Lord of the Demon Court…”

“We pay our respects to the Lord of the Demon Court…”

One voice after another, like waves, reverberated throughout the depths of the Small World.

In a fleeting moment, everyone seemed to witness the rise of a terrifying force, one that would truly shake the universe.
