Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1682: Zhang Fei - Puyang Yeyu

Zhang Fei transformed the place to suit Puyang Yeyu’s wishes. ”I don’t know the small lake in your memories, so I could only create it like this.”

”This lake and waterfall are more beautiful than the ones I visited as a child.” Puyang Yeyu smiled broadly as she looked around them.

”Do you like the view here?”

”I like it.” Puyang Yeyu rolled up her lower dress and took off her shoes. She sat on the side of the small lake, dipping her feet into the water. ”When I was little, my brother took me to a lake like this in our home domain, but the lake was destroyed long ago, and there is no lake like this in our current domain.”

Zhang Fei removed his shoes and sat beside her. ”Your brother is Senior Zong, right?”

”Yes.” Puyang Yeyu tilted her head to the side. ”Hey, you’re still young, under a hundred years old; why don’t you look for a woman your age?”

”Haha,” Zhang Fei laughed. ”Naturally, I like women my age, but women like you age like fine wine.”

”Gibberish!” Then, Puyang Yeyu asked him. ”Tell me honestly, how many women are by your side? When you were treating my injuries, I could sense the abundance of yin qi in your body, and their strengths varied.”

Zhang Fei created hundreds of qi screens showing all the women by his side, causing Puyang Yeyu to be stunned again. ”All of them are my wives.”

”Too many!” Puyang Yeyu counted the number of women who appeared on those screens. She took a deep breath because she realized there were more than a hundred women. ”How? How can you have so many wives? Why are they willing to share you with so many of them?”

”I told you that I was a demon, right?”

”Yes.”

”My demon race is a lust demon.” Zhang Fei transformed into his lust demon form, with nine tails dancing behind him. ”My demon nature is too lustful, and it continues to affect me. I’ve tried to control myself in the past, but the urges that arise within me are too strong. In the end, I decided to accept my demon nature, and their numbers have become so numerous now.”

Puyang Yeyu stretched out her hand, gently rubbing Zhang Fei’s horns. ”In the past, some lust demons tried to capture me. I knew they were too lustful, and they wanted to use me as their plaything. They underestimated me because they were strong enough, and I killed them all.”

”Are you going to kill me too?” Zhang Fei asked with a faint smile.

”I’m not a cold-blooded killer, okay?” Puyang Yeyu shook her head. ”Furthermore, you’ve healed my injury, so I can’t possibly kill my benefactor, right? Besides, I was in a helpless situation because I couldn’t use my powers in this place, and you could have easily forced yourself on me, but you didn’t do anything of the sort.”

”Hahaha,” Zhang Fei laughed. ”Honestly, I’m not as good as you think, and I used a bit of force to get some of my women. They had malicious intentions towards me in the past, so I used my demon abilities on them, and they couldn’t stop themselves from falling into my arms.”

”How many of them fell to you because of your demon abilities?”

”Hmm? About twenty of them.”

”Around twenty percent of them, right?”

”That’s right.” Zhang Fei showed all the women affected by his lust demon abilities to Puyang Yeyu. ”I used my abilities on them.”

Puyang Yeyu returned her gaze to those qi screens. ”Hmm? Some of them are female demons?”

”Yes,” Zhang Fei explained to Puyang Yeyu the identities of the women one by one, including their encounters and his reasons for using his demon abilities on them. ”Actually, I divided all my wives into six groups, and only a small portion of the main harem is affected by my demonic abilities.”

”Six groups?” Puyang Yeyu was confused by that.

”In fact, I have five clones, but they are different from other clones. My clones possess my powers, but they don’t have their consciousness, and they are directly connected to the real me.” Zhang Fei removed the other qi screens, leaving six of them behind. Each screen showed his real body and five clones, along with their respective wives. ”I divided them like that, and my real body has the most wives.”

Puyang Yeyu looked at all the qi screens; she was a little surprised because Zhang Fei’s three clones only had three to four wives. His first clone had seventeen wives, and his second clone had seven wives, all of whom were demons. ”They are humans, demons, beasts, natural races, and winged races. You have wives from all five races, but you don’t have a wife from the demihuman race yet.”

”There are several female demihumans by my side, but I have no interest in them.” Zhang Fei removed all the qi screens and looked at Puyang Yeyu. ”I know that I have too many wives, but I want you to be my wife.”

Puyang Yeyu sighed inwardly. ”I am truly grateful to you, but I cannot give you an answer now. My first reason is that I have never liked men with many wives, my second reason is that we don’t know each other yet, and my third reason is that you are too young for me.”

”I understand that.” Zhang Fei nodded at her. ”That’s why I brought your subconscious here, so we could get to know each other better. I will convince you that I am the best man for you, and you won’t regret it if you decide to accept me. As for age, I never thought about that, and some of my wives are actually older than you.”

’This kid leaves me speechless,’ Puyang Yeyu inwardly muttered. ”You may be confident, but you won’t be able to convince me to accept you that easily.”

Zhang Fei smiled at that. ”Some of my women also said that in the past, but they eventually fell into my arms. I am confident in my abilities, and I will convince you to accept me, even if I have to spend a lot of time getting you.”

”You can try, but I won’t fall in love with you that easily.”

”Let’s see later.”

After that, Zhang Fei and Puyang Yeyu exchanged stories about their past. She was truly shocked when he told her that he was born as an ordinary human on a planet without qi, and the woman who fell from the sky entirely changed her fate.

”Ugh.” Puyang Yeyu moaned softly.

”Wake up?” Puyang Yeyu turned to Puyang Shenmi. ”What happened to you? Why did you suddenly fall asleep?”

Puyang Yeyu immediately got up and sat up in bed. ”How long was I asleep, Grandma?”

”Almost an hour.”

”Eh? Only about an hour?” Puyang Yeyu was surprised for a moment, but she remembered that Zhang Fei could adjust the time in the dream to his liking. ”Grandma, that kid brought my subconscious into a dream.”

Puyang Shenmi raised an eyebrow. ”Zhang Fei?”

”Yes,” Puyang Yeyu nodded. ”He used one of his demon abilities on me when he treated me a week ago, and he brought my subconscious there before.”

Puyang Shenmi was not surprised by Zhang Fei’s identity as a demon because Feng Yao had told her before, but he was curious about his intentions towards Puyang Yeyu. ”What did he say to you?”

Puyang Yeyu massaged her forehead. ”He said he was attracted to me the moment he saw me, and he wanted me to be his wife.”

”Did he force you to be his wife?”

”No,” Puyang Yeyu denied it. ”He could have forced me to be his wife if he wanted, but he didn’t do that to me. We spent so long in the dream, and we shared stories about our lives.”

”How long did you spend in the dream with him?”

”Uhm? About a year, maybe? He can adjust the time in the dream as he pleases, but I don’t know how long the time flows inside, causing me to lose track of time.”

”Do you like him?”

”I don’t know,” Puyang Yeyu replied with a shake of her head. ”After we spent so much time together, I feel he’s a good man, and he treats me with respect. However, he has more than a hundred wives from all races, except for the demihuman race. I’ve never been in a relationship with any man because I want to find the right man for me and love me alone, and he’s entirely different from the man in my dreams.”

Puyang Shenmi nodded in understanding. ”He’s a lust demon, so I think it’s natural that he has so many wives. After all, lust demons are the most lustful of all the demon races, but he’s good enough that he doesn’t use his demon abilities on you.”

”Yes.” Puyang Yeyu agreed with her.

”Why don’t you accept him, Yeyu?” Puyang Yeyu looked at Puyang Shenmi with raised eyebrows. ”Even though he is a lust demon with many wives, he is Hu Tianlang’s sole heir, so I think he will become the best husband for you. Besides, you should still remember Senior Feng’s character in the past, and she always distanced herself from any man, but she decided to be his wife in this life.”

”Grandma.” Puyang Yeyu called softly before sighing. ”Honestly, I love spending time with him, but I don’t have those kinds of feelings for him. Besides, Senior Feng and I are different, and I can’t follow in her footsteps of choosing a husband with many wives.”

Puyang Shenmi chose not to ask any more questions. ”Since you’re awake, you should continue your cultivation so you can fully recover faster.”

”Yes.”
