Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1653: Zhang Fei Vs Shang Dongzhu

*Boom*

Shang Dongzhu was thrown back after his fist collided with Zhang Fei [5]’s. He hurriedly stabilized himself and looked at him with narrowed eyes. ’What exactly happened? Did he use a strengthening technique? For a split second, I felt his strength became equal to mine, but it has since returned to normal.’

Shang Beixuan, Shang Nanzhui, and Shang Xijiao looked at Zhang Fei [5] in disbelief. Shang Dongzhu was the strongest among the four asura guardians, but he was able to knock him back. However, they couldn’t sense the change in his strength, which lasted only a split second.

Zhang Fei [5] stood in the air as he looked at Shang Dongzhu. ”What do you think of the power of my punch just now, Senior?”

”Not bad.” Shang Dongzhu still narrowed his eyes, trying to analyze the qi within Zhang Fei [5]’s body. ”I don’t know how you did it, but I’m sure you used a strengthening technique just before our fists clashed.”

”Are you sure about that?” Zhang Fei [5] calmly asked. ”Even if you were right that I used strengthening techniques, my strength should still not be on par with yours, right?”

Shang Dongzhu said nothing and immediately flew towards Zhang Fei [5] again. This time, he used 50% of his strength to attack him, but his fist pierced through the afterimage.

At the same time, Zhang Fei [5] moved behind Shang Dongzhu. He quickly swung his right leg at his back, but a blood shield appeared on the male asura guardian’s back, bouncing him back.

Shang Dongzhu spun around and punched toward Zhang Fei [5], but again, his fist went through another afterimage. Not only was he shocked by it, but the other three asura guardians were shocked by it.

Shang Beixuan, Shang Nanzhui, and Shang Xijiao were well aware of Shang Dongzhu’s speed. He was the fastest among them, but they felt that Zhang Fei [5]’s movements were much faster than his, and he could use his techniques without any qi moving in his body, preventing them from predicting his next move.

Qi Qingxiu smirked as she watched Shang Dongzhu trying to find Zhang Fei [5]’s whereabouts. Even though her speed was much faster than his, she sometimes couldn’t see his movements, let alone the male asura guardian. ’Heh! Your eyes won’t be able to see his movements, and your senses won’t be able to sense his aura because he can suppress it so deeply that it’s imperceptible. The only person who can see his movements and feel his aura is Feng Yao.’

Shang Luohu had sparred with Shang Xueli before, and she knew her daughter’s speed was much faster than hers, but she felt that Zhang Fei [5] was even faster. ’No wonder he’s confident in fighting Shang Dongzhu.’

’That kid used a strengthening technique earlier, Empress.’ Shang Luohu raised an eyebrow when Shang Zhui spoke in her mind. ’Even though he used the technique, the qi in his body did not experience the slightest change, and his qi was as calm as still water.’

Shang Luohu glanced at her daughter, Shang Xueli, who was smiling to herself. The look in her eyes clearly showed that she was confident in Zhang Fei [5].

*Boom*

Shang Dongzhu was knocked back again after Zhang Fei [5] suddenly appeared and launched a lightning-fast punch at his chest, preventing him or his blood shield from blocking the attack.

’His punch was truly heavy! It was as heavy as my demon god’s punch.’ Shang Dongzhu rubbed his chest as he searched for Zhang Fei [5], who had disappeared from his sight again.

Zhang Fei [5] did not want to fight Shang Dongzhu directly because he was the strongest among the four asura guardians, so he chose the hit-and-run method to deal with him.

Shang Dongzhu was certain that Zhang Fei [5] was using his strengthening technique, even though he couldn’t detect any changes in his qi. He summoned several blood shields that revolved around his body, and he believed they were enough to prevent him from attacking him.

However, a powerful blow suddenly struck Shang Dongzhu’s body and sent him flying backwards, forcing him to stabilize himself. ’Damn it! This little bastard’s speed is so fast, his punches are getting heavier, and he can hide his presence so well that he can’t be detected.’

”Hey!” Shang Dongzhu looked at Qi Qingxiu. ”Give up! You will never be able to defeat my husband!”

”Humph!” Shang Dongzhu snorted at Qi Qingxiu as he continued trying to track down Zhang Fei [5]. All the blood shields turned into a sphere, covering his body. ”I want to see how you will attack me now, kid.”

”Hahaha,” Zhang Fei [5] appeared in the distance while laughing. ”Your blood sphere is powerful, but it won’t be enough to protect you.”

”Bullshit!” Shang Dongzhu roared. ”Prove it!”

”Alright,” Zhang Fei [5] opened both his palms. A golden flame appeared on his left palm, and a deep red flame appeared on his right palm. ”Are you ready?”

Shang Dongzhu furrowed his brows as he looked at Zhang Fei [5]’s two flames. Unlike his golden flame, his deep red flame gave him ominous feelings that made his body tremble. ’What kind of flame is that?’

The asura empress and the other three asura guardians also felt the same way. They felt that Zhang Fei [5]’s deep red flame was extremely deadly, and they were not confident that Shang Dongzhu’s blood sphere could withstand it.

Zhang Fei [5] threw his golden flame towards Shang Dongzhu, and he threw the deep red flame after him.

Shang Dongzhu, who felt a horrible feeling from Zhang Fei [5]’s deep red flame, immediately ran away to avoid it. However, the two flames immediately changed trajectory and chased after him.

Seeing this, Shang Dongzhu flew towards Zhang Fei [5], intending to use his own flames to attack him.

Zhang Fei [5]’s body suddenly blurred, and Shang Dongzhu penetrated his afterimage once again. His two flames continued to chase the male asura demon, forcing him to attack them with his blood technique.

Shang Dongzhu was shocked because his technique instantly disappeared as soon as it came into contact with Zhang Fei [5]’s two flames, especially his deep red flame.

Zhang Fei [5]’s golden flame was the golden crow flame that would burn anything in its path. Meanwhile, Zhang Fei [5]’s deep red flame, known as the eternal flame, was obtained from Huo Ling, rendering Shang Dongzhu’s blood technique ineffective against it.

”Shit!” Shang Dongzhu continued to fly away as he attacked Zhang Fei [5]’s two flames, but all of his attacks disappeared as soon as they touched them.

Shang Dongzhu’s eyes widened as Zhang Fei [5] appeared in the distance with a giant deep red lotus in his hand, which he immediately threw at him.

Shang Dongzhu gritted his teeth as he did not want to lose to Zhang Fei [5]. His appearance changed drastically after he used the bloodline awakening technique, and his aura became much stronger than before.

Shang Dongzhu stopped flying, and a blood sword appeared in his right hand, which he immediately slashed twice at Zhang Fei [5]’s two flames.

Shang Dongzhu’s attacks succeeded in splitting Zhang Fei [5]’s golden flames, but he failed to destroy his deep red flame, which shocked him. He had already used his bloodline awakening technique, but his attacks were not enough to destroy it, and it continued to clash with his blood sword.

”Tch! I don’t believe I can’t destroy this flame!” Shang Dongzhu exerted more of his strength. Another blood sword appeared in his left hand, and he slashed it towards the deep red flame as well. However, the flame suddenly strengthened as soon as Zhang Fei [5] used the soul link, and his giant deep red lotus continued to spin as it approached the male asura demon. ”Shit!”

”Enough!” Shang Dongzhu and Zhang Fei [5] frowned as Shang Zhui appeared among them. ”Retract your abilities, or you’ll destroy this place.”

Zhang Fei [5] was the first to do it by dispelling his deep red flame and giant deep red lotus.

On the other hand, Shang Dongzhu couldn’t accept it, and he shot at Zhang Fei [5] with the intention of killing him.

Seeing this, Shang Zhui immediately blocked Shang Dongzhu’s path to stop him, but Zhang Fei [5] moved faster than him. His right hand was enveloped in deep red flames, and he immediately launched a deadly blow towards the male asura demon guardian’s back.

”Argh!” Shang Dongzhu screamed in pain as he glided toward the ground before hitting it hard, causing a loud explosion.

*Boom*

The entire area shook violently, and dust scattered around them, obscuring their vision. However, Zhang Fei [5] did not stop there and attacked Shang Dongzhu, who tried to get up.

Shang Zhui tried to stop Zhang Fei [5] because Shang Dongzhu was important to their asura demon race, but he disappeared just as he was about to grab his hand.

”Shit!” Shang Dongzhu crossed his arms to stop Zhang Fei [5]’s swift attacks, but his bones cracked as his hard blow struck both of his arms, forcing him to kneel on the ground. ”Argh!”

Zhang Fei [5] swung his right leg towards Shang Dongzhu’s chin, kicking him away.

”Gah!” Shang Dongzhu slid toward the west wall, but Zhang Fei [5] still didn’t stop.

Zhang Fei [5] used his maximum speed and attacked Shang Dongzhu in a series of brutal attacks. The male asura demon guardian was completely helpless before his speed, and all of his attacks hit him squarely on the body, causing blood to flow profusely from several parts of his body.

Zhang Fei [5]’s killing intent soared, and he delivered a final blow to Shang Dongzhu, sending the male Asura demon guardian crashing heavily to the ground.

”Gahh!”
