Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1585: Enemies Arrival

When Ku Shan and Ku Yin arrived at the area, they saw that the conditions there had become a mess, with many holes and fallen trees, which were the result of the fight between Ku Yu and Zhang Xiaolong [3].

”Even though they were fighting solely on physical strength and speed, this young demon is truly impressive, being able to keep up with our young lord,” Ku Yin murmured as she followed the two’s movements.

”Yes,” Ku Shan agreed with her. ”Our young lord clearly has the advantage in speed, but the young demon has a strong physique due to his body cultivation. If his speed were comparable to his physical strength, I think our young lord would lose to him.”

Ku Yin nodded slightly. ”If I think about it again, this young demon’s fighting ability is much better than Xie Yao’s and Xie Yan’s. Perhaps he will become the leader of the lust demon race in their place in the future, and their race will probably become even stronger under his leadership.”

”Xie Yan and Xie Yao are demon gods, but they are both cowards, and they value sex more than improving their abilities.”

”Hahaha! They are lust demons, so I think it’s natural that they place more importance on sex.”

”How long have they been fighting, Prince Qian?”

”Since we arrived in this area,” Qian Yu turned to Ku Shan. ”Since the beginning of their spar, Ku Yu has been unable to gain the upper hand, and Xie Xiaolong has never failed to thwart his attacks. His fighting ability made me think he’s been training far longer than his age; otherwise, he wouldn’t be so skilled at such a young age.”

”You’re right, Prince Qian.” Ku Shan nodded slightly. ”I don’t know how that young demon trains, but I feel that he hasn’t displayed his full strength yet, and he may be stronger than Xie Yao and Xie Yan.”

”I think the same as you.” Qian Yu thought for a moment. ”Do you think he deliberately approached us to spy on us?”

”Why do you think like that, Prince Qian?” Qian Yu explained to the two grand elders that his sister had strange feelings about Zhang Xiaolong [3], but the two old demons were doubtful. ”That young demon might still be hiding his true strength, but he’s still not our opponent, so I’m not sure about your suspicions about him. Moreover, Jian Kuang and the others have never liked demons, so I find it hard to believe that he has any connections with them.”

Then, Ku Yin spoke. ”Prince Qian, I know you’re vigilant for good, but I believe that the young demon has nothing to do with them. His fighting prowess is indeed extraordinary for a demon of his level, but the two of us can still kill him easily, so you don’t need to worry about him. Moreover, Qian Hufeng and Qian Kuang are on their way here, and the four of us can protect the three of you from other cultivators.”

”I know.” Even though Ku Shan and Ku Yin said that, Qian Yu still had suspicions in his heart, as he was sure that his sister’s feelings would not be wrong. He looked at Qian Qin, who continued to stare at Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ’Did something happen to my sister? Did that lust demon use his abilities on her?’

*Thud*

They looked at Qian Hufeng and Qian Kuang, who had just arrived. ”Prince, we’re a little late.”

”It’s okay.” Qian Yu thought for a moment. ”Grand Elders, I want you two to focus on protecting my sister and keeping an eye on the young lust demon who is sparring with Ku Yu.”

Qian Hufeng and Qian Kuang looked at Zhang Xiaolong [3], who was running to avoid Ku Yu. ”His cultivation is only at the Celestial Emperor Realm, but his speed is much faster than cultivators at his level.”

”His physical strength is also on par with or surpasses Xie Yao and Xie Yan.” Then, Qian Kuang asked. ”Where did you meet him, Prince?”

Ku Shan explained to them directly. ”He approached us when we had just entered the second area, but we have already confirmed that he is a subordinate of the two lust demon gods.”

”I see,” Qian Hufeng spoke to Qian Yu. ”Prince, you don’t need to mind that young demon, and we will kill him if he tries to do anything to you and the princess.”

”Alright, I’ll leave him to you two, and you must kill him immediately if he shows any suspicious behavior.” Qian Yu walked to his sister’s side. ”What happened to you? Why do you keep watching him?”

Qian Qin told her brother directly about what she experienced, causing Qian Yu to raise an eyebrow. ”However, I didn’t see him use his lust demon abilities, so I feel doubtful about my suspicions, Brother.”

”Hmm?” Qian Yu looked at Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”I myself never detected that he was using his lust demon abilities, so where did the feeling you felt come from?”

”I don’t know.” Qian Qin clutched her chest, feeling her heartbeat quicken. ”Brother, we have to stop them and get to the tower as soon as possible.”

Qian Yu nodded slightly. ”Hey, Ku Yu! Stop your sparring right now! We’ve wasted too much time, and those human cultivators have already escaped into the tower; otherwise, it’ll be even more difficult for us to capture them.”

Hearing that, Ku Yu and Zhang Xiaolong [3] immediately stopped fighting and both returned to their sides. ”Grand Elder Qian Hufeng and Grand Elder Qian Kuang, you two have finally arrived, so we don’t have to fear Jian Kuang and the other two anymore.”

”Hmm?” Ku Shan explained to the two about Jian Kuang, Su Shentian, and Zhuxian Sheng. ”Heh! They’re strong, but they wouldn’t dare fight us. Compared to them, the people from the War God Pavilion are scarier, especially Dugu Yuanshen.”

”Prince Ku, you don’t need to think about those three people, and we will kill them if they attack you again.”

Ku Yu nodded to them. ”Let’s go to the tower now.”

They immediately moved to the next area, with the two grand elders of the Torture Demon Race walking in front and the two grand elders of the Thousand Demon Race guarding the rear. Ku Yu, Qian Yu, and Qian Qin walked amidst them, as did Zhang Xiaolong [3].

Qian Hufeng and Qian Kuang continued to pay attention to Zhang Xiaolong [3] according to Qian Yu’s request, and the two of them talked about him via voice transmission.

Sometime later, they arrived beneath the Tower of Eternity, but they saw no one there. They suspected that Jian Kuang and the others had deliberately alerted those people of their arrival, so they hid inside the tower.

”We should go straight to the tower and capture them while we complete the first-floor challenge.”

”I’m sorry, but I won’t go to the tower because my two leaders just asked me to return to the Endless Domain.” They looked at Zhang Xiaolong [3] in surprise.

”Hey! Our spar isn’t finished yet, so you have to stay here,” Ku Yu shouted.

Unlike him, Qian Yu wanted Zhang Xiaolong [3] to leave because his sister was becoming uncomfortable with his presence. ”Since they asked you to return, you can leave now, or they’ll punish you.”

”You—” Ku Shan grabbed Ku Yu’s shoulder and stopped him. ”Fine! I’ll look for you in the Endless Domain after I get back from this damn tower!”

”I’ll wait for you there.” Thereafter, Zhang Xiaolong [3] immediately ran away from them. ’Heh! The game isn’t over yet.’

Qian Qin felt relieved after Zhang Xiaolong [3] left, but the strange feeling hadn’t disappeared.

”Let’s enter now.” They immediately flew toward the tower and landed at the entrance. ’Sigh! I hope this feeling will disappear soon.’

”Let’s enter now.”

When they arrived inside, their expressions changed immediately when they saw Li Guangyu and the people from the Divine Samsara Sect. ”Looks like today is our lucky day.”

Ku Shan nodded. ”Li Guangyu is the vice sect master of the Divine Samsara Sect, so we must capture him. Most of the elders from the sect are also here, so we’ll take care of them all at once.”

”Hey! Look over there.” They looked in the direction Ku Yin was pointing. ”Isn’t that woman Empress Huo?”

Their expressions turned to horror when they saw Feng Yao in the distance. ”Shit! Why is that vile woman in this tower? She’s even more vile than us demons.”

”What should we do now? If we attack these humans, that vile woman will move to stop us.”

”I think we should postpone our plans, and we’ll wait for that vile woman to climb to the second floor first.” Qian Hufeng looked around. ”Once she’s gone, no one will be able to stop us from capturing these humans, and we’ll use them as pawns against the Celestial Demon Race.”

They agreed with Qian Hufeng, so they waited at a safe distance. ”Let’s wait and observe the situation.”

Qian Qin felt confused as the strange feeling grew stronger, even though Zhang Xiaolong [3] was not with them, and she could not recognize Zhang Fei, who was by Feng Yao’s side.

Meanwhile, Ku Yu’s gaze was focused on Luo Yunxiao and Helian Xun’er, who were slightly behind Zhang Fei. He licked his lips. ’I must capture those two women! Their whimpers as I torture them will definitely be melodious.’

”Husband.”

Zhang Fei nodded to Luo Yunxiao. ”You don’t need to think about them and focus on reaching the second floor as soon as possible.”
