Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1578: Two Demon Races

While the people inside the tower were busy facing all the challenges, a black flying artifact with torture ornaments on each side flew into the Glazed Heaven Domain.

All the cultivators, who saw the flying artifact heading towards their location, immediately took out their flying artifacts and fled the domain as quickly as possible. They recognized the symbols on the flying artifact, which were none other than the group from the Torture Demon Race.

They were not afraid of other demon races because they would fight to the death if they encountered them, but the Torture Demon Race was entirely different from the others. Instead of directly killing their victims, the demons of the Torture Demon Race would capture them and torture them for their own satisfaction.

”Hahaha,” A young male demon standing at the front end of the flying artifact laughed in satisfaction as he watched the crowd of flying artifacts fleeing the domain. ”We haven’t done anything yet, but those pathetic humans are already so frightened by our arrival that they immediately fled like cowardly dogs.”

”Young Lord Ku Yu, we don’t need to think about those weak humans, and our targets are the cultivators in the Tower of Eternity, especially those who come from the Divine Samsara Sect.” An old female demon said.

Ku Yu looked towards the Tower of Eternity. ”Grand Elder Ku Yin, why did my father suddenly send us to this domain? Haven’t we already discovered several other human domains? Instead of attacking the cultivators in the tower, we should attack them first, right?”

”Young Lord, my demon god has already sent your two brothers to those few domains, but those are too small for him to care about, and your brothers are more than enough to handle them.” An old male demon looked towards the tower. ”On the contrary, all the cultivators who challenged the tower were much more powerful than them, so he sent you here to deal with them, and the two of us will help you to succeed in your task.”

”So, our main target is the people from the Divine Samsara Sect, right, Elder Ku Shan?”

Ku Shan nodded at him. ”Our greatest enemy among the human race is the Divine Samsara Sect, so we will focus on them. However, we will also capture other powerful human cultivators, and my demon god will use them as sacrifices to attack the Celestial Demon Race.”

”Can those weak humans from other domains fight us?”

”Young Lord, the human race is indeed physically weaker than us demons, but some of them are extremely powerful, so you must not underestimate them.”

”For example?”

”Su Shentian, Jian Kuang, Zhuxian Sheng, Hun Lingwu, Liao Hanxue, and many more.”

”The strongest among the human race are Empress Huo Yanling and her subordinates from the Blazing Nirvana Domain.” Ku Yu turned to face Ku Shan directly. ”Empress Huo’s strength is terrifying; even my demon god would have to think twice if he wanted to fight her. The previous demon god once fought with her, but he lost decisively to her, and his injuries took tens of thousands of years to recover. Additionally, several of her subordinates, such as Huo Lanyin, Huo Mingyi, Huo Mengyi, and several others, were also powerful.”

Ku Yin reminded him directly. ”Young Lord, we forbid you from fighting with people from the Blazing Nirvana Domain, and you must flee immediately if you encounter them, especially Empress Huo. If you offend her, we won’t be able to save you from her, and she will mercilessly slaughter us.”

”I know.” Although he had never met Feng Yao in person, Ku Yu had often heard about them from his demon race or others, so he did not underestimate the warnings of the two grand elders. ”Will the other demon races also come to this domain?”

”I heard that Shang Zhanluo entered seclusion a few years ago, but I don’t know if he’s come out yet, so I don’t have any information about the Asura Demon Race. The Celestial Demon Domain was sealing their domain years ago, and Mo Shentian hasn’t answered our demon god’s call, so we can’t be sure whether he will send anyone here or not.” Ku Yu himself was still surprised by the Celestial Demon God’s decision to seal his domain, and several years had passed since then. ”The Nine Nether Demon Race, the Soul-Devouring Demon, the Eternal Night Demon Race, and the Seven Emotions Demon Race have already said they will not send their members here.”

”What about the Heavenly Fiend Demon Race, the Faceless Demon Race, and the Ten Thousand Eyes Demon Race?”

Ku Shan answered him. ”The prince and the princess of the Heavenly Fiend Demon Race, Sha Huo and Sha Qingge, are already on their way to this domain, and they will arrive tomorrow. As for the Faceless Demon Race, Wu Mian has always avoided fighting with all races, so he did not send his race members here.”

”Tch! I often feel that the Faceless Demon is a coward, and he doesn’t deserve to be on the same level as my father.” Ku Shan and Ku Yin agreed with Ku Yu, and they also thought that Wu Mian was too cowardly as a demon god. ”Then, what about Demon God Qian Yan?”

”There.” Ku Yu looked in the direction Ku Shan was pointing. ”The Ten Thousand Eyes Demon Domain is located not far from this domain, about a two-week journey, and our demon god obtained information about this domain’s location from Demon God Qian Yan.”

”Hmm?” Ku Yu squinted his eyes.

”Hey! You don’t have to look like that.” Two shadows appeared in front of Ku Yun and the others, which immediately turned into a young man and a young woman.

”Greetings Prince Qian Yu and Princess Qian Qin.” Ku Shan and Ku Yin respectfully greeted them.

Qian Yu nodded at them before patting Ku Yu’s shoulder. ”What if we compete?”

”Compete?” Ku Yu raised an eyebrow.

”Which of us captures more humans is the winner.”

”Alright! We will compete to capture those humans!” Ku Yu glanced at Qian Qin. ”If I win, I will date your sister.”

Qian Qin looked at him with a dark face. ”Who would want to date an ugly demon like you! You are competing with my brother, so don’t involve me in your competition!”

”Hahaha,” Ku Yu laughed at that. ”Hey, Qin! I’m not ugly, okay? I—”

”I don’t care! I’ll never date you even if there are no other male demons in this Paradise Realm!” Qian Qin immediately left the flying artifact.

Ku Yu watched Qian Qin’s departure as he spoke to Qian Yu. ”Your sister never changes, and her character is still as fierce as ever.”

”Isn’t that your own fault? Have you forgotten you called her fat in the past?” Ku Yu smiled bitterly upon hearing that from Qian Yu. ”We have to work hard to capture those humans so our fathers can use them as sacrifices to attack the Celestial Demon Race.”

”Do you think our two races combined can defeat the Celestial Demon Race?” Ku Yu asked with doubt in his tone. ”Mo Shentian is far stronger than our fathers, so I doubt we will be able to defeat them.”

Qian Yu shook his head. ”My father once fought Mo Shentian, but he was never able to touch or attack him, which ended in his crushing defeat. The terrifying power of the Celestial Demon God to bend reality was too overwhelming, and my father’s middle eye couldn’t see through his domain. That’s why we won’t attack them directly, and we will use people from various races as sacrifices to distract him.”

”Did you bring your subordinates?”

”As long as we don’t meet cultivators like Empress Huo, my sister and I are enough to face them, so you should be prepared to lose our competition.”

”Tch! Arrogant! Let’s go there!”

In the forest, Jian Kuang, Su Shentian, and Zhuxian Sheng noticed the arrival of the two demon races. They immediately asked everyone from the Moonlit Passion Temple not to spread out too far, making it easier for the three of them to protect them.

Zhang Fei’s five clones also noticed the arrival of the two demon races, and they were quite worried about the safety of all their wives after learning of their strength, especially Ku Yin and Ku Shan.

They asked Yao Qilin and Fei Lian to protect the others and prepare for dangerous situations, such as potential attacks from the two demon races, ensuring that everyone remained safe.

Inside the Tower of Eternity, Yue Xuelian finally managed to reach Zhang Fei and the others’ position. ”Members of the Torture Demon Race and the Ten Thousand Eyes Demon Race are in this domain. I don’t know what they’re planning, but we must be wary of their presence.”

”Who from the two demon races came here?” Feng Yao asked.

”Ku Yu, Ku Shan, Ku Yin, Qian Yu, and Qian Qin.”

Feng Yao raised an eyebrow for a moment before telling them the identities of the five demons. ”I don’t know the strength of those three young demons, but Ku Shan and Ku Yin are quite powerful, and their cultivation should be at the 3-Sun Celestial Venerable Realm. Jian Kuang and the others should be aware of their presence, and they can protect your sect’s people, so your five clones must protect all your wives out there.”

”I will use one of my clones to investigate the intentions of the two demon races.” Zhang Fei looked at Yue Xuelian. ”Why do you look so anxious?”

Yue Xuelian sighed softly. ”Li Guangyu must have contacted one of the ancestors of my sect, and I’m sure she’s on her way here.”

”Who was the strongest of all your ancestors?”

”Yue Ningxue was the strongest among them, and she was one of the people behind the founding of the Divine Samsara Sect.”
