Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1382: Hun Lingwu

”Are you sure this won’t be a problem, Brother Wuzhao?” Tianshi Bailong asked in a worried tone.

Long Wuzhao thought for a moment before answering. ”I don’t think Empress Huo will make any rash decisions, and she’s already thought it through. For now, we just need to follow Mo Shentian’s movements, and we’ll take action immediately if anything goes wrong.”

”That kid made a quick move.” Long Xukong shook his head as he spoke. ”He has already obtained the support of the four demon races, and he has also obtained the Nine Nether Demon Race as his slaves. He now acts against the Celestial Demon Race, so his influence will become even greater and stronger.”

”Hahaha.” Long Wuzhao laughed at Long Xukong’s words. ”The problem is that Tian Qiye will hear about Zhang Fei’s actions soon, and she will look for trouble with him.”

Long Xukong nodded in agreement. ”Are we going to make a move while Tian Qiye is looking for trouble with Zhang Fei?”

”Hmm?” Long Wuzhao shook his head in response. ”We don’t need to move; Zhang Fei has Empress Huo by his side, and she’s more than enough to protect him from her.”

”I hope you’re right.”

”I need to talk to those old folks.” Long Wuzhao disappeared from the sight of the two senior dragons.

”Are you sure this won’t cause us any trouble, Golden Dragon?” Feng Jinhuang asked him.

”Hmm?” Long Wuzhao looked at him and asked a question. ”What trouble do you think Mo Shentian’s departure to the Three Mortal Realms will cause, Phoenix Emperor?”

Feng Jinhuang shook his head in response. ”I don’t know what problems will arise if Mo Shentian disrupts the situation in the Three Mortal Realms, but what is certain is that the Celestial Demon God’s abilities are too extraordinary, and he could cause devastating chaos.”

”You’re absolutely right about that.” Long Wuzhao nodded in understanding. ”However, Empress Huo won’t allow Mo Shentian to descend to the Three Mortal Realms without thorough preparation, and she must have already prepared a plan to prevent him from reaching there anytime soon. Perhaps she has already prepared some plans for him, and we just need to follow them.”

”Why do you trust her so much, Golden Emperor? What if your thoughts about her are wrong? What if she’s planning something that will have a negative impact on this universe?” Hui Chen asked with a frown.

”Hahaha.” Long Wuzhao laughed out loud. ”Isn’t your question too far-fetched? How could someone who loves this universe, like Empress Huo, do something useless for it? We all know that she loves this universe very much, and she would never allow it to be destroyed, let alone if the one who destroyed it were a celestial demon.”

”But—”

Long Wuzhao sighed softly. ”Your worries are overblown, Hui Chen. I don’t know the exact details of Empress Huo’s plans yet, but I’m sure she has a special reason for letting Mo Shentian go to the Three Mortal Realms. For now, we just have to wait, and I’m sure we’ll witness something even more interesting.”

”I hope you’re right, Golden Dragon Emperor.” Wang Jinyang let out a heavy sigh.

”Don’t worry, everything will be fine.” Long Wuzhao stood up from his seat. ”In that case, I’ll be leaving now. I still have other matters that I can’t leave, and no one else can take care of them.”

The other nine people sighed softly, disappearing from the place together.

Mo Shentian and his five men arrived at a passageway leading to the Three Mortal Realms. They looked around for something but found nothing. They first made sure no one was following them.

After confirming that no one was following them, Mo Shentian immediately led his men into the passageway, flying at full speed to arrive at the Three Mortal Realms faster than expected.

”Let’s go; we’ve arrived at the Three Mortal Realms faster than we thought.”

”Yes.”

However, Mo Shentian felt something was strange because the Dragon Emperor was not following them, and the higher-ups were also nowhere to be seen. ’Could this be a trap? Why don’t they follow me? They should have known about my plan, and they should have stopped us.’

Not long after Mo Shentian left, Feng Yao appeared in the area. She smiled mysteriously as she looked in the direction they left.

Beside Feng Yao, Huo Ling appeared and shook her head, thinking that her master was being too helpful to Zhang Fei. ”Are you going to do that? If you do that, Mo Shentian will definitely be trapped in that tunnel for a long time, and he will never be able to leave without your permission.”

”Hahaha,” Feng Yao laughed, and she waved her hand. A light immediately shot out from her fingers, shooting toward that passage. ”I know you don’t like it if I continue helping Zhang Fei, but he has no other way to get rid of Mo Shentian, and he still needs my help for now.”

”Up to you, then.” Huo Ling sighed helplessly. ”Now that five Demon Races are on his side, the Celestial Demon Race will be the sixth on his side. This way, he already has the Demon Races under him, and he only needs to gather the remaining four.”

Feng Yao nodded at Huo Ling. ”The Heavenly Fiend Demon Race, the Asura Demon Race, the Torture Demon Race, and the Ten Thousand Eyes Demon Race. Among them, the most troublesome is the Heavenly Fiend Demon Race, and Zhang Fei must find a way to deal with that demon race.”

”Do you think Zhang Fei will find something to fight against the demon race?”

”I can’t be sure of that; I can only wait for now. I’ve helped him too much; he has to try on his own to defeat the Heavenly Demon race.” Feng Yao turned to Huo Ling. ”Let’s go back now, and we’ll see the next show.”

Li Meixiang and Fei Lianhe had already brought their grandson to the Immortal Soul Palace in Samsara Domain to treat Hun Lingwu.

Fei Tianluo and Mu Hanyan looked anxious, waiting for Hun Lingwu to treat their son, Fei Juehchen.

”Who did this? The person who did this was truly barbaric and lost half of his soul by killing himself.” Hun Lingwu looked at the Fei Clan members. ”With my ability, I can’t restore his soul anymore; the only way is to beg that person to return his soul. If you don’t do that, then your grandson will always live like this for the rest of his life.”

Fei Lianhe asked. ”Is there anything you can do, Hun Lingwu? Please save my grandson; I will pay whatever you ask as long as my grandson can recover to normal.”

”Please help me, Hun Lingwu. Our grandson has been like this for several months, and he never wakes up from his sleep because he will attack us as soon as he wakes up from his sleep.” Li Meixiang also begged.

”Please help us, senior.” Fei Tianluo and Mu Hanyan begged.

Hun Lingwu shook his head at them. ”It’s useless for you to beg me; I have no way to cure your grandson. The only person who can cure him is the one who used the soul technique on him, so you have to beg him. So, who is the person who used the soul technique?”

”He—”

”His name is Zhang Fei, an elder of the Moonlit Passion Temple.” Mu Hanyan ignored her parents-in-law.

”Hmm?” Hun Lingwu was surprised to hear that. ”Since when did that sect have Soul Cultivators of such a high level? As far as I remember, they were just a bunch of dual cultivators, and the strongest among them was only Qing Qiu’er. As far as I remember, there were no soul cultivators that high. Why do they suddenly have a soul cultivator?”

Mu Hanyan immediately answered Hun Lingwu. ”Since the arrival of Zhang Fei, they have become a universal sect, and they have several reliable forces for all fields, such as alchemy, blacksmithing, and others.”

”Hmm?” Hun Lingwu was even more surprised, prompting Mu Hanyan to explain to him about Zhang Fei in detail, including all the changes he brought to the Moonlight Passion Sect. ”Oh? Why haven’t I heard about that man and the changes he brought to the sect?”

”Master, you were too busy with your seclusion, so you didn’t know about the changes in Moonlight Passion Temple.” Hun Lingwu turned to his disciple, Hun Tianyu. ”I’ve tried to visit that sect when they were recruiting people in my hometown.”

”Tell me.” Hun Tianyu explained everything about Moonlight Passion Temple to Hun Lingwu, down to as much detail as possible, including all the halls.

Fei Tianluo explained to Hun Lingwu that the sect was under Empress Huo’s supervision and that Zhang Fei was also her fiancé, so he wouldn’t make the same mistake by attacking the sect.

”Is that kid really Empress Huo’s fiancé?” Hun Lingwu asked in disbelief.

Li Meixiang and Fei Lianhe nodded to Hun Lingwu. ”At first, we didn’t believe it either, but Empress Huo came to us herself. That’s why we chose to believe the news, or we would be the ones who would be in trouble if we fought her.”

”I see.” Hun Lingwu nodded in understanding. ”Bring your grandson back because I can’t cure him, and if you want him to be cured, you have to beg Zhang Fei. He is the one who did it, so he is the one who can cure him.”

”Alright.”
