Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1379: Meeting Shang Luohu

After he left the Temptation Valley, Zhang Fei [5] disguised himself as an asura demon and went to the Slaughter Blood Domain.

”Those two lust demon gods also came here, huh?” Zhang Fei [5] ignored them and went to one of the cities in the Slaughter Blood Domain, where he immediately contacted Shang Zhui for a meeting.

Zhang Fei [5] asked Shang Zhui to bring Shang Luohu with him, especially since he wanted to talk to her.

From his map, Zhang Fei [5] could see that Xie Yao and Xie Yan went to see Shang Luohu, but she immediately went with Shang Zhui to see him and left the two lust demon gods in her palace.

A few minutes later, Shang Luohu and Shang Zhu had arrived at the city. ”Do you really have a solution to free my daughter?”

”That’s for sure.” Zhang Fei [5] took out some of Shang Xueli’s body parts and pieces of her dress. ”Look at them.”

Shang Luohu took them from Zhang Fei [5]’s hand, and she could recognize her hair and dress. ”How did you get them? Did you infiltrate the Celestial Domain?”

”It doesn’t matter how I got them; what matters is that I have a way to save your daughter.” Shang Luohu stared at Zhang Fei [5], still curious about how he managed to get his daughter’s hair and dress. ”If you want to save her, I can help you with that in the future. However, my assistance comes at a cost, and I expect your people to become my subordinates.”

”I—” Shang Luohu didn’t continue speaking because he knew that it was definitely impossible; there was no way her husband would submit to anyone, including Zhang Fei [5].

”I understand that the decision lies with your husband, but you should be able to persuade him for the sake of your daughter’s safety, correct?” Zhang Fei [5] took the things back from Shang Luohu. ”You don’t need to give me an answer now, and what’s important is that you already know that I can do something to save your daughter from Mo Shentian. For now, he has ordered Mo Zixiao to impregnate Shang Xueli as soon as possible, and it will be too late if she becomes pregnant with his son. At that time, I will no longer have a way to save your daughter, so you better think carefully about my offer.”

Shang Luohu let out a soft sigh. ”Why do you want us to be your subordinates?”

”I want you to be my subordinates not because I want to control you, but because I want to ensure that your demon race doesn’t do anything bad in this realm.” Shang Luohu frowned after hearing Zhang Fei [5]’s statement. ”It’s up to you whether you believe me or not, but I don’t have as much ambition as Mo Shentian or your husband. Instead, I want all the races of this universe to coexist together in peace, and I will live in peace if that can be realized.”

”You—”

Zhang Fei [5] waved his hand to stop Shang Luohu. ”I know that peace between all races cannot be achieved easily, but at least I have achieved it within my sect. Even though the scale is still small, my sect is proof that all races can live in one place in peace.”

”Show us.”

”Sure.” Zhang Fei [5] took out a memory extractor and displayed an image of his sect from his memories, allowing Shang Luohu and Shang Zhui to see everything for themselves.

Shang Luohu and Shang Zhui immediately watched all the images that emerged from the memory extractor, where they saw humans, beasts, natural races, and demons living side by side, which amazed them. They couldn’t recognize most of them, but they recognized some of them, such as Tianshi Shengjie, Tian Huangjin, and the demons from the other three races.

Moreover, the winged race has always been hostile to the demon races, but three of them lived together in one place with so many demons, and they didn’t appear hostile toward each other; instead, they seemed to blend together seamlessly.

”Do you guys believe me now?” Zhang Fei [5] asked them. ”We don’t need to discuss Nalan Shizhe because she is my mother-in-law, so she is definitely on my side. However, Ye Mingran and Qi Qingxiu are different from her, and they have already decided to join me. Apart from them, Long Xukong, Long Wuzhao, and Tian Yizu are also already on my side. I also have the support of several powerful human cultivators, so I think everything you see is enough to prove my words.”

Zhang Fei [5] didn’t tell them anything about his relationship with Qi Qingxiu to prevent the worst from happening, especially since Qiongqi and several demon gods were still targeting him. As for the Nine Nether Demon Race, members of that race were his hidden weapons, and he would only reveal that they had become his slaves at the right time.

”Since you already know my identity as the successor of the ten-tailed fox, you don’t need to doubt that I can make it happen on a larger scale, right? Even so, I won’t rush things, and you can find a way to convince your husband first.” Zhang Fei [5] turned off the memory extractor and put it away. ”My business here is finished; I will leave now, as I have other matters to attend to.”

After Zhang Fei [5] disappeared, Shang Luohu asked Shang Zhui a question. ”What do you think of his offer, Zhui?”

”I think his offer is interesting and excellent, but it won’t be easy for us to convince my emperor.”

Shang Luohu was also tempted by Zhang Fei [5]’s offer, but she couldn’t decide because Shang Zhanluo led their race, and he was the only one who could make decisions for their race. Unfortunately, her husband had enormous ambitions, and he wanted to unite all the demon races under their race, so she wasn’t sure that her husband would be willing to accept his offer. ”Even if my husband is willing to accept his offer, he won’t be completely loyal to his decision. He might betray him in the future, and our demon race will be destroyed if that happens.”

”That’s right.” Shang Zhui nodded in agreement. ”Even though our demon race is a race born of battle and blood, my emperor will never hesitate to use any means necessary to achieve his ambitions. He doesn’t fight Mo Shentian because he is stronger, and he still has his predecessor behind him. My emperor may accept Zhang Fei [5]’s offer at first, but he will think of a way to take over his force. If that happens, we will face Empress Huo’s wrath, and our demon race will be destroyed in her hands.”

Shang Luohu let out a helpless sigh after hearing all that. ”Do you really think Zhang Fei [5] can free my daughter from Mo Shentian?”

”I don’t know,” Shan Zhui replied with a shake of his head. ”However, Zhang Fei [5] should have infiltrated the Celestial Domain before; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to obtain my princess’s hair and dress. However, I don’t know how he did it because Mo Shentian installed a special formation in his domain, and he would immediately know if someone infiltrated there.”

Shang Luohu nodded his head slightly. ”I think the same as you, but Zhang Fei [5] is definitely very unique, and he is the only living being who has three identities. Perhaps, he has something to infiltrate there without Mo Shentian knowing, just like he infiltrated our domain.”

”Perhaps your guess is correct, Empress.”

”Sigh.” Shang Luo released a soft sigh. ”Let’s go back and meet the two lust demon gods, and I will think about this matter while waiting for my husband to come out of his seclusion.”

”Yes.”

Soon, they arrived at the palace, where Xie Yao immediately asked Shang Luohu a question. ”What does Zhang Fei [5] offer you?”

”Did Zhang Fei [5] also offer you something?” Shang Luohu asked back.

”Yes.” Xie Yao told them about his previous meeting with Zhang Fei [5], which shocked them. ”I haven’t decided whether to accept his offer or not because Qin Yan is too powerful for me. Yan’er and I will definitely die if he attacks us.”

”That’s for sure.” Since they already told him about Zhang Fei [5]’s offer, Shang Luohu also told them about his offer to her. ”I want to save my daughter, and his offer is very interesting, but I can’t decide on it. If I decide on my own, my husband will definitely be furious, so I have to wait for him to finish with his seclusion.”

Xie Yao understood the situation in the Asura Demon Race. ”With your husband’s character, I’m not sure he will agree to accept Zhang Fei [5]’s offer, and it’s possible he will convey it to Mo Shentian. If that happens, they will attack his sect, and the problem will escalate.”

”Yes.” Shang Luohu nodded in agreement. ”The problem is the presence of Empress Huo Yanling behind Zhang Fei [5], and our demon race won’t be able to face her wrath if my husband does that. That’s why I’m still hesitant to discuss his offer with him, but I have no other choice because we can’t save our daughter on our own.”

”I see.” Xie Yao then gave her an idea. ”What if you use another way to get his help?”
