Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1375: Oz The First’s True Identity

”Master.” An old male demon, who was meditating, immediately opened his eyes and looked at Mo Shentian. ”Master, we’re in big trouble! The seal you placed on Mo Taishen’s soul has been broken.”

The old male demon frowned upon hearing that. ”Back then, Long Wuzhao and his two brothers intercepted me just as I was about to descend to the Three Mortal Realms, and I felt overwhelmed by the need to fight them all at once. Therefore, I was forced to send Mo Taishen there randomly, and I also threw the key through a different tunnel. I believed that he and the key would never be able to meet each other, but I didn’t expect the seal to finally be broken.”

”What should we do, Master? If Mo Taishen returns to this realm, he will definitely hunt me down to kill me.” Mo Shentian spoke in panic.

”Why are you so afraid of Mo Taishen?” The old male demon responded with a shake of his head. ”When I sealed his soul, his cultivation had not yet broken through to the Seven Divine Realms, and his demon rank had not yet reached the emperor Rank. Moreover, the flow of time in the Three Mortal Realms was much slower than in this Paradise Realm, remember? I’m sure his cultivation and demon rank should still be far below yours, so you don’t need to be afraid of him at all.”

Mo Shentian released a heavy sigh. ”Master, I am not afraid of Mo Taishen, but I am afraid if my predecessor finds out about our actions against him in the past. I am indeed the current demon god of our race, but that old man is much stronger than me, and he will be furious if he finds out anything.”

”You’re right.” The old male demon nodded in agreement. ”If we hadn’t gotten rid of Mo Taishen back then, Mo Shangren would have chosen him as his successor because he cared much more about him than you. Fortunately, we managed to cover everything up well; otherwise, we would have died at his hands long ago, and he was forced to choose you as his successor because there was no one else who could match your talent in our demon race.”

Mo Shentian had never felt such deep fear in his life. ”So, what should we do now? Can you track Taishen’s whereabouts? Whatever the cost, we have to kill him before he becomes too strong and attracts Mo Shangren’s attention, or we will both die at the hands of my predecessor.”

”Unfortunately, I can’t descend to the Three Mortal Realms, so I can’t trace Mo Taishen’s whereabouts.” Mo Shentian naturally understood the old male demon’s reasons. ”Since you can’t descend to that realm either, you must send low-rank demons with cultivation at the peak of the Seven Divine Realms there and order them to search for Mo Tianshen’s whereabouts in all the demon realms there.”

”Alright! I’ll arrange everything now.” Mo Shentian hurriedly left the place.

The old male demon looked at the exit, frowned deeply, and thought about something. ”How could the key fall into Mo Taishen’s hands? Back then, I wanted to kill him, but Mo Shangren would have noticed my action, so I was forced to seal his soul. I sent him and the key to the Three Mortal Realms through two different tunnels, and those realms were too vast. The chances of him finding their key should have been slim to none, but he managed to find it and open the seal.”

The old male demon decided to leave his place to search for Mo Taishen’s whereabouts, even though he doubted that he would be able to return to the Paradise Realm.

After they waited for some time, Zhang Fei [5] and Morgana saw the black aura that had previously enveloped Oz the First’s body disappear completely, but they didn’t see any changes in him.

Morgana hurriedly approached her husband. ”Husband.”

”Sorry to worry you, wife.” Morgana was truly relieved to hear that, and she immediately embraced Oz the First. He looked at Zhang Fei [5] and spoke to him. ”My true identity is Mo Taishen, and I am Mo Shentian’s little brother.”

”Eh?” Zhang Fei [5] and Morgana were equally shocked to hear that.

Morgana looked up at her husband. ”Are you really Mo Shentian’s little brother, husband?”

”Yes.” Mo Taishen nodded to his wife. ”Long ago, the previous celestial demon god, Mo Shangren, chose me as his successor. However, Mo Shentian couldn’t accept it because he was stronger than me at that time, and he felt that he was more worthy of becoming the next demon god than me. Therefore, he and his master, Mo Zhejun, worked together to get rid of me. That old demon sealed my soul and identity, and he sent me to the Three Mortal Realms. At that time, I fell into the Diyu Realm, and you already know the rest of the story.”

Zhang Fei [5] immediately asked him. ”If Mo Zhejun and Mo Shentian deliberately sealed you to get rid of you, why did they leave the key to open the seal with you?”

”You’re wrong about that.” Mo Taishen responded with a shake of his head. ”The black key wasn’t with me from the start, and I discovered it after I became the demon emperor of the Diyu Realm. When I found the key, the chained black shadow suddenly emerged from within my body, and I felt a connection between the two. However, I didn’t dare to open the seal for fear of changing my character, so I gave the key to Tharnon.”

”I see.” Zhang Fei [5] nodded in understanding. ”Since your true identity is like this, and they sealed it to get rid of you from this realm, I’m afraid they’ve already noticed your return. If you return to my sect, you will give me a lot of trouble, so you have to hide in another domain to avoid them. Although this forest is protected by many formations and natural traps, I think you shouldn’t hide here, and the Endless Domain will be much better for you.”

”Yes.” Mo Taishen immediately agreed.

Morgana looked at Zhang Fei [5]. ”What exactly is your purpose for going to the Endless Domain?”

”Wang Yin.” Morgana was surprised to hear that name from Zhang Fei [5]. ”I received information from someone that Yuan Xiajie sent her and several other women to that domain, and I already know their location, so I will go there to pick her up.”

”Are you sure Wang Yin will return to you?” Zhang Fei [5] raised an eyebrow at Morgana. ”Have you forgotten that Yuan Xiajie tampered with her memories before? She made her infatuated with you, even though she originally had no feelings for you. Therefore, I think she may have erased her memories of you this time, and she probably won’t remember you anymore.”

Zhang Fei [5] released a soft sigh. ”Regardless of the outcome, I will meet Wang Yin first. If Yuan Xiajie does something like that to her, I will hunt her down in the future, and I will make her regret her decision for the rest of her life.”

”I have no doubt that you are capable of doing that.” Mo Taishen nodded in agreement with Morgana. ”Let’s go to the Endless Domain now, and you can take us to see Wang Yin first.”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei [5] approached Mo Taishen and touched his chest. ”Since many demons in the Endless Domain hate your celestial demon race, I will change your appearance so that they will not recognize your true identity.”

Mo Taishen nodded at Zhang Fei [5]. ”Thank you.”

As soon as they arrived at the Endless Domain, they were immediately trapped in a powerful illusion. However, it wasn’t a big deal for Zhang Fei [5], and the illusion disappeared instantly once he used his illusion negation ability. He used the demon-piercing eye ability, especially since the domain also had many traps.

”So, where is Wang Yin now?” Morgana asked.

”I will take you two there.” Zhang Fei [5] enveloped them with his aura and used the nine cloud steps.

In a few minutes, they arrived not far from a rocky mountain, but they saw nothing there.

”Are you sure Wang Yin is here?” Mo Taishen tried to scan the area around the mountain with his senses.

”Haha.” Zhang Fei [5] laughed softly. ”You can’t see the entrance, but I can see it clearly, and Wang Yin is inside this mountain with several other women. However, I detect something unusual about their location, and the flow of Qi towards that place is really fast, making the concentration of Qi there really high.”

”Is it due to the influence of some kind of qi-gathering formation array?”

”I think so.” Zhang Fei [5] guided the two to the entrance, shielded by a concealment formation that prevented others from discovering it.

Since the area inside the mountain was dark, Zhang Fei [5] used his light element to illuminate their surroundings, allowing them to see the circular staircase leading down. However, they couldn’t see the bottom, especially since the area was too dark.

”Be careful.” Zhang Fei [5] examined the inside of the mountain through the map. ”There are many traps leading down there; I think Yuan Xiajie deliberately set them up just in case others manage to discover this place.”
