Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1376: Meeting Yuan Xiajie Again

With the help of the map and the demon-piercing eye ability, Zhang Fei [5] was able to lead Morgana and Mo Taishen through the formations and traps within the mountain much more easily. They finally reached the bottom of the area, where Wang Yin, Bian Zhizhu, Nong Qinhua, and two other women were seriously cultivating.

Based on the system, Zhang Fei [5] discovered that their names were Yan Huanying and Dong Binghua, and their cultivation was at the 3-Sun Celestial Lord Realm. The former was the Phantom Nightmare Demon, and the latter was the Frozen Enchantress Demon.

Zhang Fei [5] discovered that the cultivation of Wang Yin, Bian Zhizhu, and Nong Qinhua had also reached the 3-Sun Celestial Lord Realm. He was not surprised by the cultivation speed of the last two women, especially since their cultivation had already reached the 5-Moon Divine Ascension Realm when they last met in the Sovereign Heaven Realm.

However, Wang Yin’s cultivation surprised Zhang Fei [5] because her cultivation was still at the 1-Moon Divine Ascendant Realm when they last met, but she had already reached that realm. Additionally, her race was no longer an ordinary undead demon but an undead demon monarch, which means her demon rank had broken through to the Seven Supreme Demon Ranks.

’Wang Yin is an undead demon, and Yuan Xiajie used an ancient method to improve her cultivation.’ Zhang Fei [5] raised an eyebrow slightly as Feng Yao spoke into his mind.

’Why does Yuan Xiajie only choose female demons or demon beasts?’ Zhang Fei [5] wondered.

’Demon beasts are physically stronger than ordinary beasts and humans, remember?’ Zhang Fei [5] agreed with Feng Yao. ’Undead demons are almost invincible as long as their bodies aren’t destroyed, so Yuan Xiajie chose Wang Yin because of that. Nong Qinhua is a Yin demon, and she possesses an exceptionally high level of Yin Qi. She probably chose Bian Zhizhu not because she is a Soul-Weaver Spider Demon but because of her second identity as Bian Luosha, the Nether Spider Queen. I don’t know her reason for choosing the Phantom Nightmare Demon and the Frost Enchantress Demon, but the abilities of both their demon races are quite impressive.’

From the system, Zhang Fei [5] could see that the abilities of the two demon were interesting, especially the latter. ’Hey, Feng Yao! Can you please help me stop Yuan Xiajie? I don’t want her to kidnap Wang Yin again, but I can’t defeat her with my current strength. Moreover, Bian Zhizhu or Bian Luosha, has made Liu Qingyu and her three daughters suffer because of Chu Hong’s death, so I want to kill her.’

’Sigh.’ Feng Yao sighed in Zhang Fei [5]’s mind. ’I understand your desire to help your four wives take revenge against her, but I think killing her will only be a loss for you; instead, you can control her and use her to your advantage.’

Zhang Fei [5] reread the information about the abilities of Bian Zhizhu and Bian Luosha that Mei had saved since they first met in the Sovereign Heaven Realm. ’Her abilities to summon spiderlings, create a web domain, and detect enemies are indeed beneficial. I can place her in the forest to monitor the situation there, and she can detect enemies trying to break into my domain.’

’See? Bian Luosha’s identity as the Nether Spider Queen is beneficial to you, right? If you can use her, then why do you have to kill her?’

’Yeah.’ Zhang Fei [5] nodded slightly. ’So, are you going to help me release them from Yuan Xiajie’s control?’

’Sure.’

Zhang Fei [5] was satisfied to hear Feng Yao agree, and he looked at the two people behind him. ”Let’s meet them.”

”What if that woman suddenly appears, Zhang Fei?” Morgana asked after she remembered when Yuan Xiajie kidnapped Wang Yin back then.

”Don’t worry about her.” Zhang Fei [5] activated the soul link and brought them down to the bottom, but a barrier stopped him from approaching Wang Yin and the others. ”Such a powerful barrier.”

*Swoosh*

A small crimson flame shot out from Zhang Fei [5]’s body and broke the barrier instantly, making him overjoyed. Morgana and Mo Taishen exchanged glances after seeing that, but Yuan Xiajie suddenly appeared in front of the five women.

Yuan Xiajie didn’t say anything and fiercely glared at Zhang Fei [5], but she was also shocked when she felt that his cultivation had reached such a high level. ’How is it possible that he has reached this level? Moreover, how did he find this place?’

”We finally meet again, Yuan Xiajie.” Zhang Fei [5] calmly spoke. ”Back then, I was afraid of you, but I won’t be afraid of you anymore.”

Yuan Xiajie frowned and released her aura, but it disappeared by itself, shocking her again. ”How—”

”Release them.” Yuan Xiajie instinctively took a step back as soon as Feng Yao appeared between her and Zhang Fei [5]. ”I won’t repeat myself.”

”I—”

”I’ve heard about the destruction of your Yuan Clan, and I suspect their killer was the Nightmare Lord, Meng Zhuo.” Yuan Xiajie looked at Feng Yao in disbelief. ”Someone told me they died in their sleep, so I’m sure he was their killer. I understand your desire for revenge, but you will never win against him. Even Puyang Shenmi and the cultivators in her generation couldn’t defeat him, let alone a weak little girl like you.”

”How—”

”I won’t explain it to you in more detail.” Feng Yao pointed to the five female demons behind Yuan Xiajie. ”Free them now, or I’ll make you regret it. Don’t think you can escape from me; I can find you wherever you hide.”

Yuan Xiajie clenched her fists tightly as she still remembered the horror she felt when Feng Yao first appeared before her several years ago, and she was fully aware that she was no match for her. However, she needed these five women for her plans, so she was reluctant to let them go.

Feng Yao summoned the eternal flame, causing Yuan Xiajie to break out in a cold sweat. ”Don’t test my patience. If you don’t want to die, you must free them now.”

Yuan Xiajie gritted her teeth, as she didn’t want to die. Although she was reluctant to free the five women, she had no choice but to do so, and she hurriedly freed them from her control. ”Done.”

”Leave.” Yuan Xiajie glared hatefully at Zhang Fei [5], but she said nothing to him and disappeared from the place, fearing that Feng Yao would actually kill her. ”It’s all up to you now.”

”Thank you.” After Feng Yao turned into a flame and re-entered his body, Zhang Fei [5] approached Wang Yin, who was starting to open her eyes. ”Wake up?”

”Eh?” Wang Yin stared at Zhang Fei [5] with her eyes blinking repeatedly. ”Who are you? What are you doing here?”

Bian Zhizhu and Nong Qinhua couldn’t recognize Zhang Fei [5] either, and both of them stared at him in confusion.

Since they had never met Zhang Fei [5] before, Yan Huanying and Dong Binghua didn’t think much of him, but they were confused by their situation, especially since Yuan Xiajie had previously controlled them.

’That bitch altered her memories again.’ Zhang Fei [5] hurriedly suppressed his anger and helped Wang Yin up. ”Yin’er, I came here specifically to look for you, and I’m happy because I managed to find you after you disappeared for several years. You may not remember me now, but you are my woman.”

”Huh?” Wang Yin was shocked to hear that. ”How could I be your woman? You have to be joking with me, right? I remember for sure that I have never met you before.”

”Zhang Fei [5] is really your man.”

Wang Yin looked at Morgana. ”Who are you? Do we know each other?”

”The two of us are old friends.” Morgana’s answer confused Wang Yin further. ”A woman kidnapped you several years ago, and she deliberately erased your memories of us.”

”I—”

”I’ll show you everything, Yin’er.” Zhang Fei [5] touched Wang Yin’s forehead and shared many of his memories with her, from their first meeting in the Nine Hells Darkland Domain to Yuan Xiajie kidnapping her in the Abyssal Realm. ”You can see everything first, and you’ll know that I didn’t lie to you about our relationship.”

Curious, Wang Yin hurriedly closed her eyes and looked at all of Hang Fei [5]’s memories. The first to appear were memories of their first meeting at the soul pond, which was located in the Nine Hells Darkland Domain. After that, they didn’t see each other for several months, and their second meeting was when he came to her realm, the Demon Purgatory Realm.

In the second memory, Wang Yin saw herself bringing Zhang Fei [5] to one of the areas in her palace, where Nalan Yushu helped Ling Xiannu take over the corpse of a female demon who was born on the night when the Yin reached its peak.

Thereafter, Wang Yin saw many other memories, especially when Zhang Fei [5] and his other wives lived in her palace. However, those memories stopped after he obtained the Blood Flame, especially since she went on an adventure afterward.

Wang Yin tried to recall her memories of everything that happened after they parted that day, but she couldn’t remember anything. She blushed when she saw Zhang Fei’s [5] next memory, which was about their first dual cultivation. ’Did we really do that in the past?’
