Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 991: Bad News

”Are you thinking of sending one of your clones there now?”

Zhang Xiaolong [3] answered Jia Yuyan with a shake of his head. ”I want to confirm something first, and I will send one of my clones there after I find my answer.”

”I see.” Jia Yuyan nodded in understanding. ”You must make a decision before Cao Ren and the Cao Clan return, and I will open the portal for you.”

”All right.” Thereafter, Zhang Xiaolong [3] left the location and returned to his residence, where he ordered the guards to prevent anyone from entering.

Jia Yuyan then spoke to Han Ling. ”That kid seems to be going to the Paradise Realm soon, so I think you can join him then.”

”Yes.” Han Ling looked towards the location of the Yang Clan. ”I am satisfied with seeing my descendants happy in that clan, so I will go to hunt down my dream, which has long been neglected because of my regret. If that kid really goes to the Paradise Realm, I will join him, and I will look for my grandmaster after I break through to the Five Celestial Realms.”

”Take this.” Han Ling immediately accepted the token that Jia Yuyan gave him. ”Show this token to the gate guards when you arrive, and they will send you to the Floral Mirage Domain. Hand over this token to a fairy named Jia Hanyu when you arrive at my domain, and she will prepare a lodging for you. However, I forbid you from going to other domains before your cultivation reaches the Celestial King Realm, and you must focus on cultivating there.”

Han Ling nodded in understanding and kept the token. ”Alright, I will follow your advice, Senior Jia.”

”I have to go back to my forest.” Jia Yuyan took Han Ling back to his hut before returning to the eastern forest.

Zhang Fei [1] had already arrived at the Xianjin Realm, and he immediately went to see Zhe Wuming, who had just rested from his cultivation. ”What brought you here today?”

”I need your help to enter the space rift.” Zhe Wuming did not ask anything else and split the air, and Zhang Fei [1] immediately disappeared into it.

Once he arrived there, Zhang Fei [1] tried to summon the will of the universe, and he was suddenly transported to the final space of that mysterious place.

{Do you have any questions for me, Zhang Fei?}

Without beating around the bush, Zhang Fei [1] directly conveyed his question. ”Can I use my gate ability to move between the Three Mortal Realms and the Paradise Realm?”

{Yes, you can do it. However, I do not recommend you go to the Paradise Realm now, especially since you are still too weak to face the cultivators in that realm.}

”I know that.” Zhang Fei [1] gazed at the woman thoughtfully for quite a while. ”Can you send Xereth away from the Three Mortal Realms?”

{I can do that, but Taotie will send his stronger subordinates to the Three Mortal Realms, and you guys will face much tougher enemies.}

Zhang Fei [1] was unwilling to give up on that. ”Why don’t you seal off most of the paths between the two realms? You only need to leave a route that Taotie can’t reach, so he won’t be able to send his other subordinates to the Three Mortal Realms anymore.”

{Not all cultivators in the Three Mortal Realms have many advantages like yours, and not all of them have powerful backers. I understand your wishes; however, if I seal off most of the paths between the two realms, they will no longer be able to ascend to the Paradise Realm. Therefore, I won’t help you do that, and you have to think of another way to get rid of Xereth.}

”Phew.” Zhang Fei [1] let out a heavy breath. ”All right, I won’t force my will. By the way, thank you for your information, and I’ll be going now.”

A while later, Zhang Fei [1] had arrived on Earth, and the other two clones also came out of the training space. The three of them immediately spread out to purchase numerous sex toys and collect various Earth goods from all the warehouses.

Once they were done, the two clones went back inside to continue their training, and Zhang Fei [1] went to the Evergreen Spirit Haven Realm before taking Oliver and the others to the Fairy Forest in the Sky Jade Realm.

Zhang Fei [1] immediately explained his plan to bring all members of the natural races in that realm to the eastern forest in the Sovereign Heaven Realm.

”Are you sure we won’t encounter any problems in that realm?” Oliver asked with doubt because they were still too weak compared to the natural races in the Sovereign Heaven Realm.

”Yes.” Zhang Fei [1] nodded at him. ”There are twenty-one giants there, and they are my subordinates now. Moreover, Jia Yuyan has promised me that he will protect all of you, so I am sure that all of you will be fine there.”

Gravier, the dwarf, spoke immediately. ”You are our leader, and since you have decided so, we will follow your plan. However, we must first persuade them, and they may need a few days to pack, so we will contact you when they are ready.”

”Zhang Fei, please bring Elmyra here, especially since she is the elf race’s leader.” Sabina, the dryad, spoke.

”Unfortunately, Elmyra is with the others at the Star Tower, so I can’t bring her back here now.” Zhang Fei [1] then asked Oliver. ”Can you convince the members of the elf race regarding this matter, Grandpa?”

Oliver nodded at him. ”Don’t worry about them; I will persuade and convince them.”

”That’s good then.” After Oliver led the others to the Fairy Forest, Zhang Fei [1] immediately returned to the training space.

”Seven more floors!” Yun Xinyue shouted as they left the final test room. ”Back then, we had a hard time getting through all the challenges on the first floor, but we’ve already passed the third floor now, and we did it in just two and a half years!”

”Hahaha.” Yuan Luo laughed at that. ”Our success is thanks to Zhang Fei, or else we would have continued to fail on the first floor.”

”I agree with you.” Ye Zhiqiu nodded in agreement. ”If he hadn’t brought us to train in his training space, our progress definitely wouldn’t have been this rapid.”

Ximen Chuixue then spoke to them. ”Even though we have passed three floors, we still can’t relax now, and the challenges on the fourth floor will definitely be even more difficult.”

”All the challenges on the fourth floor are not as difficult as you imagine.” They turned to Xian Changyue directly, especially since she had reached the sixth floor. ”All the challenges on that floor are more riddles; some are simple, but some are difficult, so we just need to be patient to find the answers. However, some of the riddles are targeted at individuals, and we can’t tell other people about the questions, so you have to solve them.”

”I hate riddles!” Yuan Luo shouted in frustration, making Bai Tian’er and the others laugh. ”The first time I challenged this tower, I was trapped in a room full of puzzles, and it took me a long time to solve them.”

”Stop complaining, and let’s proceed to the fourth floor.” Yun Xinyue said this as she led the group away.

”Kid.” Zhang Fei turned to Wan Jiang, who suddenly appeared behind him. ”One of your clones is at the Sovereign Heaven Realm, right?”

Zhang Fei nodded at him. ”Why do you ask that?”

Wan Jiang let out a heavy sigh before telling him. ”The Cao Clan from that realm managed to clear the Dark Tower, but they did not ascend to my realm; instead, Cao Ren asked the tower guardian to help him sort out his problems in that realm, and he agreed to help them.”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei frowned deeply. ”Why is that person willing to help them? Doesn’t that mean he’s breaking your rules?”

”Yes.” Wan Jiang then told Zhang Fei about the results of his meeting with the higher-ups. ”They tried to capture him, but he managed to escape, and he should be on his way to that realm with Cao Ren and the Cao Clan. That person’s cultivation level is at the 3-Sun Celestial Emperor Realm, and you have no chance of defeating him. Therefore, you should leave that realm as soon as possible, especially since the situation will be chaotic soon.”

Zhang Fei nodded in understanding after hearing that. ”I will inform my acquaintances in that realm first, so they can discuss their future. Are you going to that realm to stop that person?”

”Yes.” Wan Jiang immediately summoned his three disciples. ”We will go there and wait there, but that realm will be destroyed if I fight him directly. Therefore, you should help me to send us to another realm, and I will fight him in that realm.”

Zhang Fei immediately opened the gate to the Heaven Sovereign Realm, and he closed it again after Wan Jiang and his three disciples disappeared into it. He then contacted Tian Kui and Serpentera, and he asked them to be prepared if the four people could not defeat that person. After that, he followed the women to the fourth floor, where they began taking on other challenges.

On the first floor, all of Zhang Fei’s women, family, and friends had completed the Enlightenment challenge, which was the final challenge. However, many of them failed to understand the techniques they had chosen, making them unable to continue.

Those who managed to pass it immediately rushed to the second floor, and they found Xian Jinglan waiting there with Lang.

”Since when have you two been in this tower?” Xian Lianghua asked her daughter.

Xian Jinglan immediately explained. ”Around ten days ago, Zhang Fei came to our kingdom just as I was coming out of my seclusion, and he sent me here to wait for you all. Since you are all here, we should start the challenges of the second floor.”

”Let’s go.” Hun Di, Xian Tian, and Lin Jingxia immediately led them. Unlike on the first floor, they entered the same challenge this time, which made it easier for them to face the challenges.

”Are you sure about that?” Leng Hua asked the man kneeling behind him.

”Yes, Patriarch.”

”Leave and continue to monitor her.” After the man left, Leng Kuan appeared behind Leng Hua. ”Has Leng Xiulan arrived at the Grand Royal Realm?”

”She just arrived at that realm, and your daughter will arrive there in three days.”

Leng Kuan nodded in understanding. ”Shangguan Yan seems to want to rally their support to fight us, and that kid is also involved in it, so I want you to prepare our members to face their surprise attack.”

”Do you think they dare attack us openly, brother?”

”Whether they dare attack us or not, we still have to prepare our people to face them.”

”I will take care of them after this.” Leng Kuan then reported something to him. ”Brother, our spies reported to me earlier that Cao Ren and the others have already come out of the Dark Tower, and they are on their way back now. We don’t know their next plan, but I have a feeling that they will make a move soon, and their target should be the Tian Clan.”

Leng Hua frowned with a serious expression after hearing this. ”What do you think if we work together with Cao Ren to get rid of the Tian Clan and the others?”

”Do you really want to do that?” Leng Hua did not answer Leng Kua because he still had doubts in his heart. ”If we work together with the Cao Clan, I think it’s no different from us acknowledging them, and this realm will fall into their hands.”

Leng Hua gave a light nod. ”For now, it’s just a passing idea, and I haven’t made a decision yet. By the way, tell Leng Xiulan to do her job well, or I’ll expel her family from our clan.”

”Yes, Brother.”

When the night fell, Zhang Xiaolong [3] checked on Shangguan Yan and found her still awake. She seemed busy with something, so he let her be first. He then checked on Wan Jiang and his three disciples through the map, and he found they were in the southern region.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] smirked evilly as he remembered Ji Yuyan. ”Time to teach that female fairy a lesson for annoying me over and over again.”
