Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 783: Demon Tian Gongzhu

After he finished his training, Zhang Fei immediately left the training space. He then gathered Zhou Shenxin, Jiang Tingxi, and the people from the other five kingdoms.

Zhang Fei told them about the heavenly foxes sent by Tian Baitian and Tian Baixing to hunt him down in the middle realms, which shocked all of them.

”Can you deal with them, Zhang Fei? Long Huang seriously asked.

Zhang Fei nodded. ”Even though all of our abilities as heavenly foxes are the same, I am confident in dealing with them as long as they do not gang up on me. However, you guys will have a challenging time dealing with them, especially if their cultivation is above the Divine Expansion Realm. Thus, I want you to tell everyone in your kingdoms not to discuss my name so they wonʼt attack you.”

Xian Feng and the others immediately agreed with that, and they ordered their trusted people to suppress the news of Zhang Feiʼs presence in their kingdoms.

Long Baiyun then asked. ”Can Senior Feng Yao help you fight them?”

”Honestly, I donʼt know the exact depth of Feng Yaoʼs strength yet, but I know that she is truly powerful.” Zhang Fei then paused and thought about the phoenix princess, especially the presence of Huo Ling by her side. ”She might be able to defeat the two ancestors of the heavenly fox race, but Iʼm sure she wonʼt make a move right away, and she will only make a move if I canʼt handle their people.”

”So what do you plan to do if some of them look for you in this realm?” Zhang Fei looked at Xian Lianghua with a weird smile, causing the latter to frown. ”Are you really considering luring them to the Cyanwood Mountain?”

”Are you crazy?” Xue Jingling also asked him. ”The lightning element at the top of Cyanwood Mountain is too powerful because it is reinforced by the lightning elemental law, and you will be instantly reduced to ashes if any of them strikes your body. Even Lei Ting, who is a lightning fairy and masters the lightning elemental law, doesnʼt dare to set foot there.”

Zhang Fei naturally would not underestimate their words. ”Empress Xue, we are cultivators, and danger is our middle name. I did think of luring them to Cyanwood Mountain, but I will use it as my last resort if my plans donʼt work. To prepare for that, I will meet Senior Lei Ting first, and I will ask her to teach me the method to learn the lightning elemental law.”

”You donʼt need to see Lei Ting.” Guo Xuehua immediately stood up and walked towards Zhang Fei before touching his forehead. ”I am a lightning cultivator, and I have also mastered the lightning elemental law. Even though my mastery is still below hers, I can still teach it to you.”

Zhang Fei closed his eyes as Guo Xuehua imparted the method of learning the lightning elemental law to him, and it was not difficult for him to understand it. ”Do you think I can master the lightning elemental law by using my lightning tribulations, mother-in-law?”

”I have never met a non-lightning cultivator who can do it, but you are different from other cultivators, so you can give it a try.” Guo Xuehua then returned to her seat. ”If you can master the lightning elemental law through your lightning tribulations, it will be a huge breakthrough in the world of cultivation, and all your wives may be able to do it too.”

Zhang Fei nodded in agreement. ”I canʼt break through now because my cultivation and soul are still unstable, so I think Iʼll go to the lightning pond in the Guo Clan to give it a try. If I really succeed, I no longer need to be afraid of my lightning tribulations, and I might be able to go to Cyanwood Mountain ahead of schedule.”

”I know Guo Jizhe hates you very much because of your marriage to my daughter, but I hope you wonʼt kill him if you meet him in the lightning pond.” Guo Xuehua said in a pleading tone.

Zhang Fei would not have remembered about the man if Guo Xuehua had not mentioned him, especially since he was just an insignificant person in his eyes. ”Everything depends on him, mother-in-law. If you donʼt want him to die in my hands, you can tell his parents to control him. If he canʼt hold back his jealousy and attacks me first, then I will fight him back, and I will have no qualms about killing him.”

”I understand.” Guo Xuehua immediately contacted Guo Jizheʼs parents and strictly ordered them to keep their son in check.

Thereafter, Zhang Fei sent them all back to their respective places, and he went straight to the Guo Clan.

When he arrived there, Zhang Fei immediately summoned Zhong Yan, Angela, and Ye Lian to cultivate in the lightning pond. After he taught them how to learn the elemental law, the three women immediately entered the pond and studied it.

Zhang Fei then summoned Lei Que out of the beast space before teaching him how to learn the elemental law, and the two immediately went to the source of the lightning. ”Learn the method first and start trying to master it afterwards.”

”Yes, Master.”

Meanwhile, Bai Yaowei and Linghu Yincheng were already seated on their thrones, with their three children standing behind them.

On the left side, Bai Shushi and Bai Zizhen led the Bai Clan members under them. Linghu Xiaoting and Linghu Shiwei led the people from the Linghu Clan. On the right side stood the people from the five major clans, except for Han Yuanzhi, who was represented by her brother.

The ministers, generals, and nobles of the Bai Kingdom were also present. They were relieved that their emperor and empress had returned to normal, allowing them to once again lead their kingdom and reorganize everything.

However, Bai Yaoweiʼs announcement shocked the ministers, generals, and nobles, especially since he decided to abdicate. After he discussed it with his wife, they agreed for Bai Chongxi to ascend the throne and become the next emperor.

Unlike them, the leaders of the five major clans were not surprised by that, and they already knew the purpose of Bai Yaowei and Linghu Yinchengʼs decision.

”All of you may think that our decision is too hasty, but we have thought things through carefully. Bai Chongxi may be young, but he is our first son and the crown prince, and he has learned a lot about imperial matters. Furthermore, you all know that Zhou Shenxin is the empress of the Zhou Kingdom now, and they are almost the same age.” Even though Bai Yaowei said that, those people were still not sure about accepting their decision, and they were not sure that their crown prince was capable of carrying out the duties of the next emperor. ”Even if we decide to abdicate, we will still assist him from behind, so you donʼt have to worry about anything. Our decision is final, and I want Bai Chongxiʼs coronation ceremony to be held in two weeks, so I want you to prepare everything from now on.”

Linghu Yincheng then added. ”For hundreds of years, the situation in all kingdoms has never been peaceful, and wars continue to claim many lives. Therefore, we also want to inform you that our kingdom will cooperate with the Yun, Zhou, and Xian kingdoms. This way, there is no need for any more wars, and all kingdoms will be able to coexist peacefully.”

”What about the Huangfu Kingdom, Empress?” Kong Heng asked.

Linghu Yincheng smiled upon hearing that. ”Zhang Fei has already informed us that the Huangfu Kingdom is already under his control, including Huangfu Shou. Unfortunately, he cannot act immediately because of the existence of the Huangfu Clan behind them, but he will make his move after he ensures that the clan will not be able to find out about his actions. Therefore, we no longer need to worry about them, and we will focus on reorganizing our kingdom under Bai Chongxiʼs leadership.”

The ministers, generals, and nobles naturally already knew Zhang Feiʼs identity as the husband of the three princesses of the three other kingdoms. However, they were confused by Linghu Yinchengʼs decision to side with him, especially since their kingdom had no direct ties to him.

After Bai Yaowei and Linghu Yincheng told them a few other things, the people immediately left the throne room to carry out their orders, except for Bai Tianʼer, Bai Shushi, Bai Zizhen, and the leaders of the five clans.

”Cousin, Zhang Fei contacted me earlier, and he wants you two to forbid everyone from mentioning his name in this kingdom.” Bai Yaowei and Linghu Yincheng looked at Bai Shushi in confusion. ”Currently, many powerful cultivators are hunting him in the lower and middle realms, and they might be able to find his presence in this realm. In order to prevent any unexpected incidents from happening in this kingdom, he wants us to cover all his traces and his ties with us so they wonʼt attack us.”

”Did Zhang Fei tell you the identities of his enemies?” Xiong Ningwu asked her.

”Zhang Feiʼs enemies are the heavenly fox race, and they come from the upper realms.” Bai Shushiʼs answer shocked all of them. ”Their strength is extremely high, and both of their ancestors have already reached the Ascension Divine Realm. If they know our relationship with him, they might attack us and use us to force him out. He previously met Xian Feng and the others, and they have already ordered their people to erase any traces of him from their kingdoms.”

Bai Yaowei nodded in understanding. ”In that case, I want all of you to send people from your clans to do that, and we must erase Zhang Feiʼs traces in our kingdom as neatly as possible.”

”Yes.” Xiong Ningwu and the others hurriedly left the Bai Royal Palace.

Bai Yaowei then asked his eldest son. ”Are you ready to take on the new responsibility of leading our kingdom?”

”Ready or not, I still have to lead this kingdom, right?” Bai Chongxi responded with a bitter smile. ”Even though I have learned about imperial affairs, I am not fully ready to become the emperor. However, the situation on this human island is much more conducive with all the kingdoms united under Zhang Fei, and the two of you will still help me to take care of everything, so I will try my best to be a good emperor.”

”Haha.” Bai Yaowei laughed as he nodded in satisfaction hearing that. ”Being an emperor can be difficult or easy, and Iʼm sure you can adapt to your new responsibilities quickly.”

Linghu Yincheng then told him. ”Chongxi, the main key to being a good emperor is being willing to listen to advice and input from other people, especially your seniors. As long as you are willing to listen to them and treat your people fairly, they will fully support you.”

”I know, Mother.” Bai Chongxi then turned to his little brother and little sister. ”Renfu and Shaoyi, you two should help me too, okay?”

Bai Renfu and Bai Shouyi nodded. ”Donʼt worry, Big Brother. The two of us will definitely help you to take care of this kingdom.”

”We havenʼt gathered together for a long time, so weʼll go eat together at the Sky Jade Restaurant.” Linghu Yincheng then stepped down from his throne. ”Shushi and Tianʼer, you two should also join us, and weʼll eat while talking about other things.”

”All right.”

After a few hours, Zhang Fei [5] decided to check on Tian Gongzhu, who had stopped screaming. However, her eyes had already turned bloody red, and her white hair had become jet-black; even a baleful aura was emanating from her body.

Tian Gongzhu glared hatefully at Zhang Fei [5]. She had eventually become a demon fox due to the influence of the demon aura in that realm, and her mind was filled with the negative emotions of those wandering souls.

”How do you feel after becoming a demon fox?” Tian Gongzhu wanted to shout at Zhang Fei [5], but he suddenly changed to his half-fox form. He didnʼt use his white half-fox form but black, which shocked her. ”You should have realized by now how I was able to escape to the Netherworld Realm back then, right? I am not an ordinary heavenly fox, but I am a demon heavenly fox, and you are the same as me now.”

”You—mhmm.”

Zhang Fei [5] immediately grabbed Tian Gongzhuʼs cheeks. ”Even though I did not enslave you with my demon slave mark, you must remember that your life is in my hands now. Therefore, you must put away your arrogance when you are in front of me, or I will make you suffer much more than this. You better not doubt my words, especially since I am a cruel and merciless person, particularly toward my enemies.”

ʼThis bastard!ʼ Tian Gongzhu inwardly cursed.

”Hehe.” Zhang Fei [5] chuckled and pulled Tian Gongzhu into his arms before planting a kiss onto her lips, causing her eyes to widen in shock.

ʼUgh!ʼ Tian Gongzhu panicked when Zhang Fei [5]ʼs tongue invaded her mouth, and she struggled to escape from his embrace. He hugged her tightly with one hand while moving his other hand to her buttocks. ʼUgh! I really want to kill him!ʼ

Under Zhang Fei [5]ʼs intense kiss, Tian Gongzhuʼs resistance gradually died down. She had already closed her eyes and began to enjoy their kiss, and her body writhed from his gentle squeeze on her buttocks.

A few minutes later, Zhang Fei [5] separated their lips, unsealed Tian Gongzhuʼs cultivation, and gave her a bottle containing six pills.

Tian Gongzhu immediately opened the lid of the bottle, but her expression changed to shock when she saw the six superior-grade pills inside. ”Did you match these pills?”

”I am a grandmaster alchemist, okay?” Zhang Fei [5]ʼs answer surprised Tian Gongzhu. ”Even though you are my enemy, you are mine now. Your cultivation is indeed quite high in the Quasi-Divine Realm; however, you are still too weak to be of much help to me. Therefore, you must swallow these pills immediately. If you are obedient to me, I will give you some better pills, and you will be stronger than Tian Jiyuan and the others. You can swallow these pills now, and you can help me deal with these wandering souls afterwards.”

After he said that, Zhang Fei [5] immediately flew to another area to continue cleaning up those wandering souls. Tian Gongzhu stared at four different directions with a serious expression, especially looking at the four white circles in the sky that were continuously raining down light elements on the area below them. ”What kind of ability is that? Why doesnʼt a single member of our race have that kind of ability? If we had that kind of ability, we would definitely be able to clear out all the demons attacking our realm much more easily.”

Tian Gongzhu then sighed heavily because she had already become a demon heavenly fox, so she could no longer return to the Heavenly Moon Realm. If she forced her way back there, her race members would immediately regard her as a disgrace and kill her outright.

Tian Gongzhu immediately sat cross-legged on the ground and began to swallow the pills. After swallowing the first pill, she could immediately feel the changes in herself, and she hurried to swallow the rest. ʼDoes he really have better pills? If thatʼs true, I think it wouldnʼt be bad to follow him, and I could become much stronger.ʼ
