Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 809: The Fall Of The Shang Clan

Up in the sky, the two continued to exchange attacks, or more precisely, Zhang Fei bullied Shang Huaqiang by using his superior speed.

Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun perplexedly watched their fight, finding it hard to believe that Zhang Fei was toying with Shang Huaqiang like a child.

Huo Jiguang and the others were also shocked to witness Zhang Feiʼs actions, especially Huang Xiaoting, who had previously wanted to attack him.

Fei Shuya had already guessed that Zhang Feiʼs abilities were beyond her imagination, but she did not expect that he could fight with Shang Huaqiang toe to toe, and he had the upper hand against him.

ʼThis brat! How could he pressure my husband to that extent?ʼ Fei Qinyuan stared at Zhang Fei and Shang Huaqiang in a daze.

All of them misunderstood Zhang Feiʼs abilities, especially since they didnʼt know about his secrets, including Huang Quan and Hong Cong. Under normal circumstances, he could never accomplish such feats solely by relying on his speed, particularly given the stark disparity in their cultivation.

Although Zhang Fei had the ability to fight cultivators at the Seven Divine Realms, he could only face cultivators at the Divine Manifestation at max with his current strength.

Fortunately, Ma Kuangyuʼs soul resided in his soul space, and it was far different from the souls of cultivators in the three mortal realms, which allowed him to help Zhang Fei.

Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun exchanged glances for a moment before releasing his full strength, and both of them wanted to bring Hong Quan and the others down together with them.

However, a portal suddenly opened before them, and Xi Hongyan walked out of it together with Xi Qiuwei. At the same time, Mai Xiaomeng also appeared above the Shang Clan.

Zhang Fei knew that he wouldnʼt be able to stop Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun, so he used his clones to ask them for help.

Even though Xi Hongyan disliked Zhang Fei for his actions toward her some time ago, she would not miss the opportunity to destroy the Shang Clan, and she immediately agreed once he told her everything.

Xi Hongyan, Xi Qiuwei, Mai Xiaomeng, and Fei Shuya immediately attacked Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun, making the two old men panic and fly away. However, Hong Quan and the others immediately broke free from their restraints, and they joined the four women to attack the two.

Meanwhile, Xi Yinying realized that Zhang Feiʼs strength is not his true strength but borrowed strength, and he wonʼt be able to defeat Shang Huaqiang just by relying on that.

Xi Yinying moved to Zhang Feiʼs side, and the two of them joined forces to fight Shang Huaqiang. Despite the wounds covering his body, he remained superior to the two.

Shang Huaqiang, who was facing the combined attack of Zhang Fei and Xi Yinying, was shocked by the appearance of Fei Qinyuan behind him. ”Wife-Gah!”

”Iʼm sorry, husband! I donʼt want to fight you, but I canʼt go against his orders!” Fei Qinyuan spoke as she launched another attack on Shang Huaqiang.

”Damn it!” Shang Huaqiang cursed and flew as fast as he could to escape, especially since Fei Qinyuanʼs cultivation was on par with his.

*Swoosh*

The demon extermination sword suddenly shot toward Shang Huaqiang and slashed his shoulder, causing it to bleed. Zhang Fei moved in front of him with the Moonlit Whisper Sword in his hand, and he slashed it directly at him.

*Clang*

Shang Huaqiang managed to repel Zhang Feiʼs attack with his spear, but Fei Qinyuan and Xi Yinying were already behind him, and the two women launched attacks that landed heavily on his back.

*Splurt*

Xi Yinyingʼs attack didnʼt hurt Shang Huaqiang that much, but Fei Qinyuanʼs assault was truly painful for him to the point that he spurted a lot of blood from his mouth.

*Slash*

Zhang Fei took advantage of Shang Huaqiangʼs carelessness by slashing his sword towards his right arm, cutting off his right arm. ”Argh!”

Zhang Fei didnʼt stop there and raised his leg high, and he swung it towards Shang Huaqiangʼs head.

”Gah!” Shang Huaqiang slid down towards the ground, but he was still able to control himself and landed on the ground with a wobble. He quickly took out some pills and swallowed them to stop the bleeding and numb the pain in his arm.

*Bam... Bam...*

Shang Huaqiangʼs attention was diverted by the two loud bangs, where he saw Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun nailed to the wall with their bodies covered in blood.

”Cough… Cough…” Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun coughed hard as their bodies were already in a complete mess from their previous injuries, and those peopleʼs attacks made their conditions even worse.

Xi Hongyan and Xi Qiuwei floated in front of Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun with vicious eyes. The two women were eager to swallow the two old men alive, especially since they had killed many of their Xi clan members in the past.

Zhang Fei suddenly moved to the side of the two women. ”I know you two have a deep grudge against them, but I need their souls for my experiment, so I will be the one to end their lives.”

”What are you going to do about them?” Xi Hongyan asked with a frown.

”Capture Shang Huaqiang for me, and I will show you after this.” Xi Qiuwei immediately moved and captured Shang Huaqiang before bringing him to Zhang Feiʼs side with his cultivation sealed.

Shang Huaqiangʼs expression was truly ugly; it had never crossed his mind that their powerful clan would be destroyed in one day.

Hong Quan and the other cultivators immediately landed, surrounded them, and waited for Zhang Feiʼs next action against Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun.

Fei Qinyuan wanted to say something to Zhang Fei, but Fei Shuya immediately pulled her away and forbade her to say anything.

Zhang Fei quickly pulled Shang Yanhanʼs and Shang Yanjunʼs souls out of their bodies before cutting off the connection between their bodies and souls, causing their bodies to fall to the ground lifeless.

Xi Hongyan and the others knew of Hun Diʼs terrifying abilities in soul cultivation, but they had never witnessed such a thing firsthand, and Zhang Feiʼs actions were terrifying enough even for experienced cultivators like them.

”What do you want to do with their souls, kid?” Huo Jiguang asked Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei stored the two old menʼs souls in his soul space before turning to them. ”I am a master-rank blacksmith, but I have never tried to forge a true soul weapon because I need the souls of living beings to do so. Therefore, I will use their souls to try to forge one, and it doesnʼt matter if it fails.”

”A master rank blacksmith?” Except for those who already knew Zhang Fei, nearly everyone was in shock.

”Haha.” Mai Xiaomeng suddenly laughed, and her next words left them even more stunned. ”This kid is not only a master rank blacksmith, but he is also a grandmaster alchemist, and his pills are the best I have ever swallowed.”

”Xiaomeng is right.” Jin Ruyue said it with a nod. ”His basic pills are much better than the ones concocted by Lin Jingxia, and I am much better after swallowing them.”

”Can you show me your basic pills?” After all, Huo Jiguang and his Huo Clan were alchemists, and they also worked together with Lin Jingxia and Tian Shuixiang, so it was natural for him to be curious about Zhang Feiʼs basic pills.

Zhang Fei actually didnʼt want to reveal his pills to the public, but he needed a lot of jewels to mass produce his new weapon, and he also wanted to buy a large piece of Heavenly Rejuvenation Jade. He then took out a bottle containing his basic pills and handed it to Huo Jiguang, who immediately opened the lid and looked at the pills.

Huo Jiguang took a deep breath and looked at Zhang Fei in shock. ”Even though I havenʼt tried these pills, I can imagine their effects. Moreover, their grade is superior; I have never met a grandmaster alchemist who could concoct such a grade before. In fact, I myself have always had difficulty concocting pills of this grade, and I can only concoct a few of them. Do you want to sell them in this realm, kid? If you want to sell them, I can help you with that, and I wonʼt take much advantage of you.”

”I intended to sell my pills in this realm, but the previous situation didnʼt allow me to do so. If you want to help me sell them, I will come to your Huo Clan to discuss this matter.” Zhang Fei then turned to Shang Huaqiang. ”However, I have to take this guy to my home realm first, so Iʼll go to your clan after Iʼve sorted everything out.”

Huo Jiguang nodded at him. ”Now that we have resolved our business here, I will head back to my Huo Clan and await your arrival.”

”All right.” Zhang Fei immediately took Shang Huaqiang away from that place because he did not want to open a gate in front of the other cultivators, and he took him to the Sky Jade Realm after returning to the Hong Clan.

The other cultivators wondered about the future of the Shang Clan, but Hong Quan asked them to go back first and discuss the matter again after Zhang Fei returned.

Xi Hongyan looked around the clan before letting out a soft sigh. ”Even though I failed to kill them with my own hands, I am satisfied with their deaths, and my parents can finally rest in peace in the afterlife.”

”Hehe.” Xi Qiuwei chuckled. ”Now that youʼve resolved your grudge, itʼs time to move on with your life and you—”

Xi Hongyan immediately disappeared ; she knew the continuation of Xi Qiuweiʼs words, and she did not want to think about such things in her life.

Xi Qiuwei could only shake her head at her nieceʼs behavior, and she immediately flew east to return to the Xi Clan. People from the other clans also left the Shang Clan. Only a few people remain, such as Hong Quang, Hong Chong, Murong Qianying, Mai Xiaomeng, and Jin Ruyue.

”Son, call our people and ask them to clean up this clan.” Hong Quan then asked Fei Shuya. ”What are your plans next, Old Fei?”

”I donʼt have any plans because I have separated my Fei Clan from this clan.” Fei Shuya turned to Fei Qinyuan. ”Your husband will die soon, so you should think of a new plan for your life.”

”Do you think I can do that, Grandmother?” With a bitter smile, Fei Qinyuan posed the question. ”My soul has already merged with that kidʼs soul, and he clearly has no intention of freeing me. Even if I want to start a new life, I will never be able to do that.”

Fei Shuya nodded with a soft sigh. ”Iʼll meet that kid when he comes back here, and I hope I can persuade him to release you. Letʼs go back to our clan first.”

”Grandmother, I will stay here while waiting for him to come back.” Fei Shuya nodded to her granddaughter and immediately left the place. Fei Qinyuan herself went to her room in the clan to pack her things, especially since the Shang Clan belongs to Zhang Fei now.

”Grandpa Hong, do you know Longʼerʼs true identity?” Hong Quan immediately turned to Murong Qianying. ”I never thought about this before, but his killing intent that he showed earlier clearly does not belong to a ten-year-old kid, especially since he had to need countless people for his killing intent to reach such a high. Thatʼs why I believed his identity, which I had known for a long time, was a fake one, and I assumed you all already knew the truth.”

Hong Quan nodded to her. ”Youʼre right about that, Qianying. Zhang Xiaolong is his fake identity, and he used it to infiltrate the Shang Clan. His real name is Zhang Fei, a young man in his twenties, and weʼve all known about it since Xinxin brought him to our clan three months ago.”

Murong Qianyingʼs expression was filled with disappointment, especially since she was the last to know the truth. Moreover, Hong Xinxin had known Zhang Feiʼs true identity for a long time, but she had never told her about it. ”I will return to my clan now, Grandpa Hong.”

”Qianying, I know you are disappointed about this matter, but you should already know the reason Zhang Fei hid his identity from you.” Murong Qianying nodded to Hong Quan before flying away from the Shang Clan. The old man then asked Mai Xiaomeng. ”Since this clan has been destroyed, it is time for you to bring your clansmen back to this realm, or they will decline if they continue to stay in the middle realms.”

Mai Xiaomeng had thought about that, but she couldnʼt return to the Nine Stars Realm without Zhang Fei. ”I will wait for that kid to return to this realm first, Old Hong.”

In the Chu Clan, right in front of Chu Hongʼs tombstone, Zhang Fei stepped on Shang Huaqiangʼs head, forcing him to prostrate himself before it. ʼBastards! I never thought my life would end this way! All this happened because of this little bastard!ʼ

Behind Zhang Fei, Liu Qingyu stood side by side with her three daughters, and their expressions were filled with hatred for Shang Huaqiang. After all, he was the one who installed the demon portal, and Chu Hong died after being sucked into it when it was destroyed.

Moreover, they couldnʼt search for Chu Hongʼs corpse because he died in another realm, and the universe was too vast for them to search for it.

”You guys can do whatever you want to do to him.” Zhang Fei spoke to them.

Chu Xing turned to his mother. ”Mom, I want to kill this bastard, but I think you have more right to do it, so you can kill him and use his blood as an offering to our father.”

Liu Qingyu immediately drew his white sword and pressed it against Shang Huaqiangʼs neck. ”Because of your ambition to rule this realm, countless people of this realm died at the hands of the demons in the past, and our ancestors had to sacrifice their lives to seal the portal. Unfortunately, their sacrifices ended in vain after you broke their seal, and my husband died because of your second action. You are a powerful cultivator from the upper realm, but fate is on our side. This time, it is your turn to go to the afterlife, and your victims will surely be happy to see you.”

*Slash*

*Splurt*

Instantly, blood spurted from Shang Huaqiangʼs cut neck, and his blood soaked Chu Hongʼs gravestone.

The burden in Chu Yingʼs heart disappeared after Liu Qingyu killed Shang Huaqiang, and she hugged her two sisters, who were already crying, as she herself also cried happily.

Liu Qingyu wiped the blood on her sword and put it away directly. ”Husband, the man who caused your death is dead now, so I hope you can rest in peace there. You donʼt need to think about the four of us; we will continue to move forward, and we will always live happily.”

Zhang Fei wanted to take Liu Qingyu and her three daughters back to the training space, but he knew that they werenʼt feeling well. Therefore, he decided to leave them in the Chu Clan for a while, and he returned to the Red Sun Realm to take care of the Shang Clan.

”Are you sure you donʼt want to stay in this clan?” Hong Quan asked him. ”You helped us defeat this clan, so all of this belongs to you.”

Zhang Fei shook his head. ”At first, I wanted to stay in this realm, but I changed my mind. I havenʼt decided on my next realm yet, but I already have a few options, so you can take over this clan.”

Hong Quan nodded in understanding. ”Zhang Fei, you should go see Murong Qianying and explain the truth to her.”

”All right.”
