Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 823: Humanoid Dolls

In the Huang Clan, the Demonʼs Eye Orb followed Huang Zheyun and Lei Huiyin to the underground chamber beneath their clan, where a black demon statue stood at the end.

”Are you sure you want to activate this statue, Husband?”

Huang Zheyun answered his wife with a shake of his head. ”Back then, Lord Jiutian told me to activate this statue if the situation is not in our favor, but I will not rush to activate it, and I will wait for news on whether our people have successfully captured the three individuals. If they fail to carry out their duties, Guan Chenhong will definitely contact those old folks, and the situation will become unfavorable for us. If they make a move on us, I will activate this statue directly.”

”I think that is the best choice.” Lei Huiyin then walked away. ”You can prepare to activate this statue, and I will go to prepare other things.”

”All right.”

Inside the inn room, Zhang Xiaolong [3] sat by the window as he looked towards the location of the Huang Clan. ”The black statue is the same one that Xereth used to appear in the dark realm. If that is true, that demon will appear in this realm once Huang Zhejun activates it, and no one in this realm will be able to fight him; even the defense mechanisms available here will not work against him.”

”Is he that strong, Junior Brother?” Lin Moxian approached him.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] nodded at him. ”Tian Huangjin is a cultivator of the Paradise Realm, and Xereth can match her; not even the Nameless One can face him with his current strength. Even if he joins hands with your aunt and the others, they still wonʼt be able to stop him, so the casualties will be innumerable if he appears here.”

”Do you have a solution for this problem?”

”Feng Yao should be able to stop Xereth, but she is waiting for the arrival of the dark phoenix now.” Lin Moxian had no doubts, having witnessed Huo Lingʼs actions during their assistance to Zhang Xiaolong [3] in the Nine Hells Realm. ”We still donʼt have clear information about that demonʼs strength and abilities, so itʼs too risky if we let Huang Zheyun activate that statue, and we have to think of something to buy time.”

”What if we let them arrest us?” Lin Moxian expressed his idea. ”They already guessed that we told Senior Guan about them, and they might lower their guard if we were in their hands. That way, Huang Zheyun wonʼt activate the statue, and we can think of a way to destroy it.”

”Do you have anything for that?”

”Yes.” Lin Moxian took out four puppets and showed them to Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”Once we implant our hair and blood into these humanoid dolls, they will immediately transform into us. We can use a thread of our soul to control them from afar, and they will never realize that they are dolls unless they have puppet masters by their side.”

”Letʼs use them then.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] contacted Tantai Lingyan and Yan Yinqing, asking them to go to his room.

After Tantai Lingyan and Yan Yinqing arrived, Lin Moxian immediately explained the plan to the two women, and they straight away agreed with it. They then implanted their hair and blood in the four humanoid dolls, which immediately changed to look exactly like them.

Zhang Xiaolong [3], Lin Moxian, and Yan Yinqing could easily implant a thread of their souls into the dolls because they were soul cultivators. However, Tantai Lingyan was not a soul cultivator like them, so she had difficulty doing that.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] grabbed her hand and guided her to do that, but Tantai Lingyan was a little uncomfortable because she was rubbing her hand. She was a mature woman and experienced cultivator, and she was aware of his intentions from the moment he gave his Yang Qi to her.

Noticing that, Yan Yinqin smiled mischievously and pushed Tantai Lingyan forward, causing her to fall into Zhang Xiaolong [3]ʼs embrace.

Tantai Lingyan wanted to get away from him, but Zhang Xiaolong [3] hugged her instead. ”Let me go.”

”Hehe!” Yan Yinqing chuckled. ”Donʼt be shy, Mom. My junior brother has clearly shown his interest in you by giving you his Yang Qi, and you are a free woman because my father died a long time ago. Therefore, it doesnʼt matter if you have a relationship with him, and my four grandparents will definitely support you.”

Tantai Lingyan was embarrassed that her daughter said such a thing in front of the two men, but Zhang Xiaolong [3] immediately lifted her chin and looked her in the eye. ”Even though you already have a daughter as big as my senior sister, I was attracted to you the moment we met. Even though you are a widow, Iʼm not concerned about that, and I want to have you as my wife. I will never force you to accept me, and I will try hard to convince you that I am sincere to you.”

Tantai Lingyan directly pushed Zhang Xiaolong [3] backward with a little force, and she hurriedly left the room with an embarrassed face. After all, he was much younger than her, and he was her daughterʼs junior brother.

”Hahaha!” Yang Yinqing laughed out loud, realizing her motherʼs bashful expression as she ran away. She then spoke to Lin Moxian. ”Hey, senior brother! You should learn a lot from our junior brother in wooing women, or you will be single for the rest of your life if you keep failing to win Xi Hongyanʼs feelings.”

Lin Moxianʼs lips twitched, and he countered her directly. ”Donʼt talk nonsense about me, Junior Sister. Look at you, youʼre almost as old as me, but you have never had a lover yourself, especially since you were too tomboyish. If you continue acting like this, youʼll be a spinster for the rest of your life!”

Instead, Yan Yinqing smiled faintly and grabbed Lin Moxianʼs collar. ”How about we get married, Senior Brother? However, we will get married if you fail to conquer Xi Hongyan and no man is willing to marry me, so we will not live in loneliness for the rest of our lives.”

Lin Moxian was stunned by Yan Yinqingʼs words, especially since he had never had such thoughts toward her, and he had always regarded her as his junior sister.

”Just kidding.” Yan Yinqing immediately let go of Lin Moxianʼs collar. ”I would rather live alone for the rest of my life than marry an old and obsessive man like you.”

Black lines appeared on Lin Moxianʼs forehead, but he was familiar with Yan Yinqingʼs mischievous and playful character, so he immediately ignored her words. ”Tch! I wonʼt care about you anymore.”

”Hehe.” Yan Yinqing giggled to herself.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] was amused by their antics, but he then pulled Yan Yinqing into his embrace and whispered to her. ”How about you become my wife too, Senior Sister?”

”Huh?” Yan Yinqing looked at him with repeated blinks, but she then leaned against his chest and twirled her index finger there. ”Are you able to please me, Junior Brother? Iʼm a tomboy, possessive, and jealous woman, you know? If I become your wife, I will snatch you away from your other wives, and I will never share you with them forever.”

”Senior sister, you can lie to others, but you can never lie to me.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] pointed at her chest. ”I have dozens of women by my side, remember? Therefore, I am more expert than you, and I know that your words are different from your heart and soul. I know you are a caring woman, and you will never do such things.”

”Haha.” Yan Yinqing immediately broke away from him. ”If you are confident in your words, you can try to get me, but you will regret choosing me as your wife.”

”Letʼs prove it in the future, Senior Sister.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] replied with a smile.

Yan Yinqing only nodded to Zhang Xiaolong [3], and she took her and her motherʼs dolls to their room to prepare to face the people from the two clans.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] then carried Wang Yourou before leaving the room together with Lin Moxian, and the two dolls that had transformed into them lay down on their bed to deceive the people who would come to them soon.

After that, Zhang Xiaolong [3], Lin Moxian, Yan Yinqing, and Tantai Lingyan gathered on the roof of the inn.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] decided to send Wang Yourou into the Yin-Yang Space, especially since she slept like a dead pig, which surprised Yan Yinqing and Tantai Lingyan.

”What kind of place is behind the portal, Junior Brother?” Yan Yinqing inquired inquisitively, and Tantai Lingyan shared her curiosity.

”A prison.” Zhang Xiaolong [3]ʼs answer caused both women to raise their eyebrows. ”That place is a special prison, and I locked up ten female cultivators who were my enemies in the past.”

”Are you using them as your cultivation furnace?” Tantai Lingyan asked, but her tone was filled with detest.

”Yes.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] admitted it immediately. ”The way I use them as my cultivation furnace is different from what you imagine. I have never touched them, and they donʼt experience the slightest pain in the process.”

”Prove it.”

Zhang Xiaolong [3] first turned to Lin Moxian, who immediately contacted Lin Jingxia and informed her of their plans. After that, he brought the three of them into the Yin-Yang Space, but he had no intention of bringing them into the training space yet.

”So, this is how you absorb their powerful Qi, Junior Brother?” Lin Moxian posed this question as he stood before the glass tube.

”As I explained some time ago, I cannot absorb the Yin Qi of female cultivators in the Seven Divine Realm directly, but I can absorb it from this tube.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] pointed at the ten rooms. ”Ten women slept in those rooms, and I locked their subconsciousness in dreamland. I gave them sweet dreams, and their Yin Qi would flow directly into this glass tube. By the way, the three of you definitely recognize some of them.”

Yan Yinqing and Tantai Lingyan immediately checked the rooms, but Zhang Xiaolong [3] stopped Lin Moxian because all ten female prisoners were naked. Both women were surprised when they found Shang Xishun, Shang Ziyuan, and Shi Wuxian sleeping in the three different rooms. However, they could not recognize the identities of the other seven women, especially since they were cultivators from the lower and middle realms.

”See? They arenʼt in the slightest pain, right?” Both women nodded at Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”I would never lock up innocent women in this place, and I locked them up because they are my enemies. Currently, they are dreaming of their respective partners, so I can harvest their Yin Qi. I wake them up once in a while to eat, and Iʼll give them healing and recovery pills if their condition weakens. If I no longer need them, I will release them from this place, but I will erase their memories of me and everything related to me.”

Tantai Lingyan then pointed to several rooms. ”Why can I detect your Yang Qi in their bodies?”

”Their Yin Qi is too weak for me, so they drink my Yang Qi, just like you.” Tantai Lingyan became embarrassed when Zhang Xiaolong [3] brought up that matter. ”Those people have started moving, so we have to get out now.”

.

.

.

When they arrived outside, Zhang Xiaolong [3] brought them into an invisible state, and they found several people from the Huang, Xiong, and Lei clans sneaking into their inn. Meanwhile, Lin Jingxia stood in midair and watched the movements of those people, but no one noticed her presence.

According to Lin Moxian, Lin Jingxia used an ancient artifact that could completely hide her presence and aura; even those defense mechanisms in the Xianjin Realm could not detect her either.

Sometime later, the people from the three clans brought the four humanoid dolls out of the inn, and they took them away to the Huang Clan.

They saw Lin Jingxia following those people. ”Letʼs follow them.”

”No.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] refused. ”You three go somewhere else first, and I will infiltrate the Huang Clan by myself.”

”But—”

Zhang Xiaolong [3] interrupted Yan Yinqing straight away. ”Senior Sister, my ability is not perfect. Many people and artifacts can detect us, so I canʼt take the three of you there. If those people notice our presence, it will be difficult for us to escape. As for me, this is my clone, and I will cancel it immediately if they notice my presence, so you donʼt have to worry about me.”

Yan Yinqing let out a soft sigh before agreeing with him, and they immediately moved elsewhere once Zhang Xiaolong [3] disappeared from their sight.

Up in the sky, Lin Jingxia noticed Zhang Xiaolong [3]ʼs arrival at the Huang Clan, but she didnʼt have time to stop him. ”His speed was marvelous, but he was careless by infiltrating this clan alone.”

.

.

.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] was already inside the Huang Clan, and he found those people bringing the four humanoid dolls to Huang Zhejun, who was waiting for them in the room with the black demon statue.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] didnʼt go to that place directly, but instead, he went somewhere else after using his strengthening technique. He also used the Demon Transformation II ability to disguise himself as Long Jiutian. Unlike other disguise techniques, his form and aura were completely similar to the blood dragon demonʼs, and he used the concealment ring to hide his cultivation.

Soon, Zhang Xiaolong [3] arrived in front of a room, and Lei Huiyin opened the door for him. However, she was surprised by his sudden arrival, especially since Long Jiutian was supposed to arrive in two days. ”When did you arrive in the realm, Lord?”

”Just now.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] entered the room directly. ”Letʼs go in.”

Lei Huiyin was confused by that, but she did not argue with Zhang Xiaolong [3] and went inside while closing the door. She then approached him, sat on his lap, and hugged his neck, surprising him. ”Is there something bothering you, Lord?”

ʼHmm? This woman is a bitch, huh?ʼ Zhang Xiaolong [3] inwardly muttered. ”My lord was furious after hearing of the deaths of my two subordinates, so I rushed back to this realm, and we will begin our plan soon.”

”Do you want me to serve you as usual, Lord?” Lei Huiyin posed a flirtatious question while shaking her lower body. ”I miss your dragon dick inside me, and I want to feel it pound me again.”

”Iʼm not in the mood to do it with you right now.” Lei Huiyin responded to Zhang Xiaolong [3] with a disappointed expression. ”Once our business in this realm is done, I will satisfy you as much as you want, so you donʼt need to be disappointed like this.”

Lei Huiyinʼs expression changed to joy. ”What are your plans now, Lord? My husband managed to capture the people who killed your subordinates, and they are underground now.”

”Letʼs go there.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] lowered Lei Huiyin from his lap. He used his Plant Generation ability to create some things, scattered them in the room, and led the old woman away.

Along the way to the dungeon, Zhang Xiaolong [3] also scattered them all in several slightly closed areas to prevent them from knowing his actions.

Before long, they arrived at the dungeon, and Huang Zhejun had already bound the four humanoid dolls with binding artifacts. The old man had stripped Tantai Lingyan and Yan Yinqing dolls naked, causing Zhang Xiaolong [3] to momentarily raise an eyebrow. ʼThis old bastard! Iʼll teach him a lesson later!ʼ

Huang Zhejun was surprised by the arrival of Zhang Xiaolong [3] in the form of Long Jiutian. ”Lord, why did you arrive earlier than expected?”

”My lordʼs orders.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] pointed at the four dolls. ”Which one of them killed my subordinates? What are you going to do to the two women?”
