Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 497: Saving Orith

”Lady Ilsath was thrown into the portal after King Bapho used her as a shield to block the guardianʼs attack, so I didnʼt know about her situation.”

Hearing the news about Ilsath, Zhang Fei [4] frowned, especially since he needed her to help him increase his demon rank. However, the portal ended up throwing her into another realm. Unfortunately, he himself didnʼt know the destination of the portal, and the guardian protecting it should be powerful if it could injure so many demons in the king and queen ranks at once.

”Lady Thish is a little far to the east, and her condition is really bad.” Zhang Fei [4] was naturally happy to hear that, and he immediately looked towards the east. ”As for Lady Orith, she was taken into hiding by Queen Zilvora a little further north, and both of them only suffered minor injuries.”

The demon tree then told Zhang Fei [4] about the condition of the demons; some of them died at the hands of the guardian, and the majority of them suffered serious injuries.

Zhang Fei [4] naturally couldnʼt care less about the condition of the demons, and he was more concerned about the two succubi duchesses. ”Show me the location of Thish first, and weʼll go to Orithʼs place after that.”

Zhang Fei [4] followed the demon tree directly to Thishʼs location, but it took a detour due to the guardianʼs position in the center of the area, which could attack them if they approached it too closely.

Since the demon tree had lived in that area for a long time, and it could also communicate with other demon trees in other areas, it wasnʼt difficult for it to lead Zhang Fei [4] to Thishʼs location.

However, the heart of the dead forest was very wide, and it took them approximately one hour to arrive at Thishʼs location. Zhang Fei [4] smiled with satisfaction as he discovered the unconscious succubus duchess on the ground, with several parts of her body suffering from burns. Her blood continued to flow, soaking the ground beneath her.

”Donʼt say anything to the other demons, understand?” The demon tree nodded to Zhang Fei [4], who was already squatting beside Thish. He then took out two demon-sealing power artifacts, one collar and one bracelet, and then put them on her neck and right hand. ”Heh!

This way, Luanʼer can vent her frustration and anger on you, and you will experience more painful pain than you did to Yan Zhixiu before.”

Wasting no time, Zhang Fei [4] sent Thish into the training space, and the demon tree immediately led him north to Orith and Zilvoraʼs location.

About two hours later, they had arrived there, but they couldnʼt see any sign of them, and Zhang Fei [4] also couldnʼt find them because the map was still dark. ”Orith! Are you here? Itʼs me, Elion!”

”Elion? Is that really you?”

Zhang Fei [4] immediately looked up and saw a large spider web on the tree, but it wasnʼt an ordinary spider web because it was extremely thick and its pitch-black color blended in with the darkness of the forest. ”Itʼs me; I came here to look for you because you hadnʼt returned in a long time, and I was really worried about you.”

Hearing that, Zilvora immediately pulled her spider web and brought Orith down from up there, but the succubus duchess immediately jumped up and hugged her. ”Sob... Sob... The guardian is really scary and powerful, and it is more powerful than the fake demon emperor, Elion! It killed many demon kings and queens, and Ilsath was also thrown into the portal because of King Baphoʼs actions.”

Zhang Fei [4] raised his eyebrows slightly after hearing that the guardianʼs strength exceeded Oz the first, which meant its strength was equivalent to that of a cultivator in the seven divine realms. He then hugged Orith and rubbed her back. ”Itʼs okay; the guardian is far from this place, and it never leaves its spot, so youʼre safe now.”

”How did a marquis lust demon like you get into this forest?” Zhang Fei [4] was suddenly asked by Queen Zilvora [4], and he could hear the doubt in her tone.

Zhang Fei [4] pointed to the demon tree behind him. ”Lord Arbeola ordered him to guide me, and he was the one who brought me here through a safe route.”

Zilvora appeared surprised when she heard the name Arbeola from Zhang Fei [4]. She then glanced at the demon tree, which trembled in fear at her sight. ”This demon lives here, so it should know this forest route. In that case, we have to find the surviving demon kings and queens, and we have to bring them back to the demon emperor city.”

”No.” Zhang Fei [4] immediately refused Zilvora. ”You all are incapable of fighting against that guardian, let alone a weak demon like me. Iʼm still young, so I wonʼt throw my life away in vain. If you want to save them, this demon tree can lead you to their places, but I will take Lady Orith away from this place.”

”You-” Zilvora didnʼt have time to scold Zhang Fei [4], and he had already taken Orith away using his teleportation, causing her to stomp her feet in anger. ”That cowardly demon! Iʼll chop him to pieces using my spider web after I get out of this place! Hey! Take me to the nearest demon kings or queens!

Otherwise, Iʼll pluck all your leaves, and Iʼll chop your body into pieces before using them as firewood!”

The demon tree hurriedly guided Zilvora to the location of several nearby demon kings and queens, but the spider queen was still irritated because of Zhang Fei [4], and she was also irritated after remembering King Baphoʼs cowardly actions. ʼTch! If I ever meet that damn goat again, Iʼll roast him alive and feed his roasted meat to my babies.ʼ

Zhang Fei [4] had already brought Orith to the border of the formation array, but the succubus duchess continued to stare at him in shock, especially since no lust demon had such a teleportation ability. ”How could you do such a thing?”

”Didnʼt you already know my other abilities before?” Zhang Fei [4] then rubbed Orithʼs cheek. ”You donʼt have to think too much about my abilities, okay? The important thing is that youʼre safe now, and Iʼll take you back to the tower soon.”

After staring at Zhang Fei [4] for some time and nodding at him, Orith turned her head towards the central area. ”What do you think will happen to Ilsath? Will she die?”

”I donʼt have an answer for that myself. However, he should be fine since Lord Arbeola told me that the real demon emperor was locked up behind that portal, and she probably met him by now.” Zhang Fei [4] then hugged Orithʼs waist as he looked in that direction. ”Honestly, I want to try to meet that guardian, but I hesitate because itʼs too powerful to be able to kill many demon kings and queens.

Anyway, do you see the figure of that guardian?”

”The guardian is a lion, but its body is similar to lava, and it can spray scorching lava.” Zhang Fei [4] nodded in understanding to Orith after remembering Thishʼs wound. ”Anyway, did you find Thish?”

”No.” Zhang Fei [4] immediately turned to Orith. ”Forgive me, but I donʼt care about Lady Thish, especially since she always tortures other demons. I came here specifically to save you and Lady Ilsath, but unfortunately, she is stranded in another realm now.”

”Haha.” Orith laughed happily and gave Zhang Fei [4] a deep kiss. ”I am ecstatic that you are so concerned about me, but I am really concerned about Ilsath. Do you have any other abilities that you can use to trick the guardian? As for Thish, just leave her be since I never liked her anyway, and the tower will be more peaceful without her around.”

”Actually, I still possess some other abilities, but Iʼm uncertain if they can deceive the guardian. If it notices our presence, it will immediately attack us, and both of us will definitely die.” Orith seemed disappointed with Zhang Fei[4]ʼs answer. ”I myself really want to save Lady Ilsath, but we will only be throwing our lives away if we go there now, so I think we should go back now.

Once my demon rank rises to the duke rank, we will return to try to save her.”

Orith released a heavy sigh while shaking her head. ”Even if your demon rank rises to the duke rank, we still wonʼt be able to defeat that guardian. Itʼs truly powerful, and it can even kill King Groth and Queen Drudna with just one attack.

Anyway, Queen Zilvora must be angry because of your previous actions, and she will undoubtedly look for you in the tower after she leaves this place, so youʼd better hide in my private cave.”

”No need.” Zhang Fei [4] refused. ”I know Queen Zilvora is strong, but Iʼm not too afraid of her, so I wonʼt hide from her. Anyway, we should go back now, so you can rest later.”

”All right, letʼs go back now.”

After that, the two of them rushed out of the formation array and immediately flew away from the Dead Forest, but their speed was too slow because Orith was completely exhausted, and Zhang Fei [4] also didnʼt want to show his movement technique to her.

Meanwhile, Zhang Fei had already taken Thish into one of the rooms in the portable mansion, where he hung her upside down with her feet chained to the ceiling, causing her blood to saturate the floor.

Since Thishʼs condition was really bad, Zhang Fei forced her to swallow two pills to stop her bleeding and heal her wounds. He then turned to Yan Luanʼer, who was eager to torture the succubus duchess. ”You should restrain yourself for the time being and let her recover first, then you can do whatever you want to her after that, so she can feel the pain when you torture her.”

”I agree with him, Luanʼer.” Xi Zihua said with a nod. ”Sister Zhixiu has suffered so much because of this female demon, so it would be too good for her if you tortured her while she was unconscious. After she recovers and wakes up, you can start torturing her in the most cruel way, and I will help you with that.”

Yan Luanʼer nodded in agreement to the two of them and immediately suppressed her anger. ”All right, I will wait for her to recover first, and I will make her taste hell, so she will never forget it for the rest of her life.”

”Donʼt you want to use her to increase your demon power?”

Zhang Fei immediately shook his head at Xi Zihua as a sign of rejection. ”I do need a lot of female essence, but I have no interest in this female demon. Moreover, there are still so many succubi in the succubi tower, and I can use them all as I please, so Luanʼer can satisfy her anger towards him.”

Hearing that, Yan Luanʼer immediately hugged Zhang Feiʼs arm. ”Fei, how about you take my big sister as your partner? She is a demon cultivator, so you can get female essence and yin qi from her, right? That way, he doesnʼt need to continue living in the Netherworld Realm, and he can live with me in this mansion.”

Zhang Fei himself did not deny that Yan Zhixiu was lovely and attractive, and her body was also very tempting to him. Moreover, he himself had heard that she had only ever dual cultivated with one man, but her partner died at the hands of the Pang Clan, and she never looked for a new partner after that. ”Letʼs talk about this matter again later, and I will talk to him first.”

Yan Luanʼer pouted her lips as she watched Zhang Fei walk out of the room. ”Do you think Big Sis will agree to be his partner?”

”Donʼt you already know the answer?” Yan Luanʼer nodded with a soft sigh. ”Even though her partner has been dead for a long time, Sister Zhixiu is still loyal to him even now, so Iʼm not sure if she will be willing to accept Zhang Fei as her new partner. The situation will be different if he uses his lust demon abilities on her, and Iʼm sure she will submit to their effects.

However, she will never really like him, and she will probably hate him if he uses such methods to get her. Therefore, we have to think of other ways to bring her closer to him, and he may be able to subdue her heart gradually.”

”Yeah, youʼre right.” Yan Luanʼer then pulled Xi Zihua out of the room. ”Iʼll try to talk to Big Sis about this when Zhang Fei brings her here again, and I hope I can persuade her to accept him.”

.

.

.

”Did you manage to save them, Big Brother?”

Zhang Fei immediately sat down in the middle of his little sister and big sister. ”I managed to save Orith, but I couldnʼt save Ilsath because she was thrown into the portal, and sheʼs probably with the real demon emperor of the Netherworld right now.”

”Are you planning to save Ilsath, Feiʼer?” This time, it was Qing Yi who asked him.

”No.” Zhang Fei then told them about the guardianʼs form and its power. ”Since the guardian is a cultivation beast and its cultivation is at the seven divine realms, my current bloodline power probably canʼt suppress it for too long, and Iʼll definitely die if it manages to escape my suppression.

Thatʼs why I decided to postpone saving Ilsath, but Iʼll try to meet it after my demon rank rises to the duke rank and my beast form evolves to the six tails.”

”Why donʼt you use your invisibility to infiltrate the portal, husband?”

”Hey, my invisibility is not omnipotent. There are cultivators or artifacts that might be able to detect me, even if I am in an invisible state.

Therefore, I refuse to take such a risk, knowing that my death at the hands of the guardian would leave all of you miserable and heartbroken.” Boitata and the others laughed upon hearing that, and they naturally did not want Zhang Fei to die, so they were relieved by his decision.

”All right, you guys donʼt need to think about the guardian and Ilsath, but instead, you should focus on our cultivation. Our journey to the Nine Stars Realm still takes two weeks, so I want to break through to the 10-Star Soul Realm before we get there.

However, I will first help those of you who are still in the core realm to break through to the soul realm, so you wonʼt feel pressured when we get there.”

Liu Qingyu directly spoke to Zhang Fei. ”In that case, you should focus on Sister Yi, Zhang Yue, Zhang Lin, Zhong Yan, Ru Xue, Tang Ziyu, and Janette for their time being, especially since they have yet to break through to the soul realm. As for us, we will release our Yin Qi by force, so you can still improve your cultivation while helping them.”

”I agree with Big Sis, Feiʼer.”

”Me too.”

After that, Liu Hua and the others returned to their respective rooms to prepare their Yin Qi for their husbands, and Zhang Fei took the seven women into his room, which excited them.

Upon arrival, Janette immediately asked Zhang Fei. ”Why didnʼt you invite my mother to join us? She has long been ready to dual cultivate with you, and her cultivation is still in the core realm, so I think you can do it now.”

Zhang Fei himself was eager to engage in dual cultivation with Lillea, but she had previously been preoccupied with the affairs of her race members, so he didnʼt have time to do it with her. ”All right, I will call her now.”
