Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 459: Murong Qianying

After they had served their punishment, the two women from the Huang and Hao Clans went straight to the Shang Clan residence, but they stopped in their tracks when they saw Shang Wuzi, who looked confused all alone on the roof.

Huang Qinghua immediately cupped her two hands beside her mouth and asked in a loud tone. ”Hey, Wuzi! Why are you daydreaming up there? Did Shang Xinyu reject your confession?”

”Pft! Haha.” Hao Jianxiu laughed at that and teased Shang Wuzi. ”Is it true that Shang Xinyu has rejected you?”

”Shut up, Lilies!” Shang Wuzi then jumped down, landing in front of them. ”I donʼt know what happened to Shang Xinyu and the others, but Senior Yingyue is helping them recover.”

Both women immediately exchanged confused glances, especially since they had not heard any commotion last night. Moreover, most of the other clans living on the island would not dare to attack members of the Shang Clan, and only a few of the other clans would dare to do so. ”What happened to them? Could it be that someone attacked them?”

”Iʼm sure no one could have snuck in there, especially since the place was covered by a powerful formation. Even if someone managed to sneak in there, Iʼm sure that person wouldnʼt do anything strange to them and kill them straight away.

Anyway, they kept acting strangely as if they had been exposed to something, and their condition still hasnʼt improved, even though Senior Yingue has been helping them for some time now.” Shang Wuzi then told them about last nightʼs events after they parted ways, and both women were completely shocked to hear that Shang Xiaoyin had brought her three friends to kidnap Shang Yaolin and Zhang Xiaolong [3].

”Moreover, theyʼre both inside now, and they are sound asleep.”

”Do you think Yaolin did something to Shang Xiaoyin and those three women?” Hao Jianxiu inquired as she peered into the residence.

”Iʼm not sure if Yaolin did it.” Shang Wuzi shook his head in denial. ”Iʼm sure Shang Xiaoyin used something on them before bringing them there, since I saw her and that fox kid unconscious.”

”I agree with you! Although Shang Xiaoyin looks brute, she is not a stupid woman, so she would not have brought them there without doing something to them first.” Huang Qinghua then peered into the residence, deep in thought.

”That fox kidʼs cultivation is at the 6-Star Soul Realm, so he wouldnʼt have been able to trick them, let alone do something like that to them, and they would have immediately noticed his actions if he tried to do something.”

Shang Wuzi and Hao Jianxiu also couldnʼt believe that Zhang Xiaolong [3] could trick Shang Xiaoyin and the others with his low cultivation, so they didnʼt hold any suspicions about him.

”Anyway, what exactly is that place?” Shang Wuzi shrugged his shoulders at them, especially since he himself could not enter, causing the two women to be curious about the place.

They suddenly saw Shang Yingyue walking out from inside with a look full of confusion, and they could hear her talking to herself, but they couldnʼt hear her clearly. They immediately went up to her and asked her, but she disappeared from their sight right away. After that, the three of them rushed inside and went to Shang Xiaoyinʼs room, but they found the four women unconscious.

Hao Jianxiu immediately walked to the bedside, grabbed Shang Yaolinʼs right hand, and used his senses to inspect her internal body. She then checked the bodies of the other three women, but the results were still the same. ”This is weird; I canʼt find any traces of substance in their bodies, so they shouldnʼt have been exposed to poison or anything.”

”There are no new scars on their bodies, so no one should have attacked them.” After observing the four womenʼs external bodies, Huang Qinghua grabbed Shang Xiaoyinʼs hand from her lover and checked her pulse before raising her eyebrows. ”Why is her pulse so chaotic? Sheʼs obviously unconscious, so her pulse should be calm, but itʼs so fast now.

It seems that they were indeed affected by something, but it was not caused by external factors, and it should have come from within their bodies. Perhaps they were exposed to something that dissolves easily, so we canʼt find traces of it in their bodies.”

”If thatʼs true, then the answer to their strange behavior lies within that place.” Both women immediately turned to Shang Wuzi, who shook his head helplessly at them. ”Shang Xiaoyin is your patriarchʼs beloved niece, and her mother also pampers her a lot, so I think they prepared that place especially for her.”

”Yeah.” Shang Wuzi nodded in agreement. ”Since the four of them are body cultivators, Iʼm sure that place has a lot to do with the body cultivation path. Unfortunately, we canʼt do anything to check that place, but Senior Yingyue should be able to since she was able to bring them back.”

”In addition to being a soul cultivator, Senior Yingyue is also a formation array master, so the formation is not much of an obstacle for her.” Huang Qinghua then turned to his lover. ”How about we go there now? Iʼm sure sheʼs gone there, and we might be able to sneak in there.”

”Do you think Senior Yingyue is a fool?” Hao Jianxiu asked while shaking her head. ”She must be aware that place is reserved for Shang Xiaoyin, so she wouldnʼt let anyone else in there. She even asked Wuzi to come back before saving them, so we donʼt have to waste time going there.”

Huang Qinghua puffed out her cheeks in response, especially since she was really curious about Shang Xiaoyinʼs secret place. She then hugged Hao Jianxiuʼs arm and pulled her out of the room. ”Since Shang Yaolin is still sleeping, weʼll wait for her to wake up first, and weʼll ask her to introduce us to that fox kid.”

”All right.”

After the two women left, Shang Wuzi immediately swapped Shang Xiaoyinʼs position with Shang Xinyu, and he sat beside her while stroking her cheek. ”What am I lacking? Your parents have even agreed for us to get married, but you have always refused to marry me, and you even chose to go to this realm to accompany this brute.”

Shang Wuzi then leaned forward and wanted to kiss Shang Xinyu, but he suddenly stopped when their lips were only an inch apart, and he immediately canceled his intention before leaving the room. ʼXinyu, I will prove to you that I am worthy to be your husband, and I will make you willing to marry me at that time.ʼ

Meanwhile, Shang Yingyue had returned to Shang Xiaoyinʼs secret place, but she was no longer as reckless as before because she had already experienced the sensation given by the fragrance of the lustrous moonflower plants, and she didnʼt want to be affected by it a second time, so she enveloped her body with her qi to prevent it.

Shang Yingyue carefully checked the surrounding area, and she quickly found the source of the fragrance, so she approached one of the lustrous moonflower plants. ”Has this plant been here for a long time? If thatʼs true, the fragrance of this plant should have influenced Shang Xiaoyin and the others long ago, but it has only affected them since last night.

Moreover, who was the person who saved Shang Yaolin and that fox kid from their hands? Could it be that person who planted this plant in this place? How did that person break through the formation outside? Could it be that he is a formation array master like me?”

After she made sure the place was completely clean, Shang Yingyue immediately left, but many questions about the situation arose in her mind, and she continued to make conjectures about the actual situation.

After returning to her office, Shang Yingyue immediately contacted someone from her clan, and an old man walked out of the portal a few minutes later. ”Do you know this plant, Old Shang Kuang?”

”Hmm?” Shang Kuang immediately observed the black plant that was still wrapped in Shang Yingyueʼs qi, but then he shook his head at her. ”Iʼve seen many kinds of black plants, but this is the first time Iʼve seen this one. Where did you find it? Why did you call me just to check it out?”

Shang Yingyue immediately explained everything to Shang Kuang, including the situation of Shang Xiaoyin and the other three women, making the old man fall into deep thought. ”Bring me to them, so I can check their conditions directly.”

In a few minutes, they were already in Shang Xiaoyinʼs room, and Shang Kuang immediately checked their conditions, but he still couldnʼt find any other abnormalities in their bodies.

”How was the result?”

”I couldnʼt detect the abnormalities in them.” Shang Kuang then sighed softly and took the black plant from Shang Yingyueʼs hand. ”Leave them like this for the time being, and I will examine this plant to find a solution to reverse their condition.

Anyway, you better not say anything to Shang Ziyuan for now, or she will come here immediately and make a scene if she finds out her daughter is in this condition.”

They immediately returned to the fortress, and Shang Kuang headed back to their realm to examine the black plant. Meanwhile, Shang Yingyue promptly returned to her private quarter, contemplating the strange situation.

Time passed quite fast, and night finally arrived. A middle-aged woman with long red hair and a golden ornament tying the back of her hair walked into the Shang Clan residence. Her arrival surprised the young cultivators living there, but some of them repeatedly stole glances at her, especially the male ones.

Her face exudes beauty and maturity, featuring glazed eyes with red pupils, a small nose, thick lips adorned with red lipstick, and light makeup on her chubby cheeks. Her figure, while not particularly tall and curvaceous, exudes a seductive and sensual aura in her loose red dress, exposing the cleavage of her F-Cup breasts to their gaze.

Every time she walked forward, her breasts jiggled up and down, her big buttocks protruding from her lower dress. A proud smile graced her face as she noticed their glances at her body. Instead of being embarrassed because of their gazes, she actually puffed out her chest, making her breasts stand out even more.

”Mother!”

”Hmm?” The woman immediately turned to the voice, but she immediately put on an angry expression. ”Why are you so stupid, Guangming? Our patriarch gave you an easy task, but you failed to carry it out, and here you are now serving your hundred-year sentence.”

Shang Guangming smiled bitterly at his motherʼs scolding, especially since she scolded him in front of so many people, and his peers were clearly holding back their mocking laughter. He immediately ignored them and walked over to Murong Qianying. ”Do you want to see Yaolin right now? She should still be sleeping in her room with Longʼer.”

”Letʼs go; I canʼt wait to check out that fox kid.”

When they reached the room, they discovered Shang Yaolin taking a bath, while Zhang Xiaolong [3] was deeply cultivating on the bed. However, Mei had already informed him of their arrival, particularly Murong Qianyingʼs presence. He immediately unsealed his senses. ʼScan her.ʼ

ʼBlood elements?ʼ Zhang Xiaolong [3] was taken aback upon reading this, as Mei had previously informed him that the blood element was a rare element, similar to metal and wood, and this was the first time he had encountered a cultivator who possessed such an element. ʼ4-Star Divine Transformation, huh? I hope he doesnʼt see through my disguise, or Iʼm dead.ʼ

Murong Qianying immediately sat in front of Zhang Xiaolong [3], pressed her index finger to his forehead, and closed her eyes to read his memories. ʼHmm? Xinxin didnʼt lie to me, huh? This bratʼs father must be a powerful heavenly fox, and his cultivation has probably reached the Divine Ascendant.

Otherwise, he wouldnʼt be able to place such a powerful restriction in his memories, preventing me from reading them even with my current cultivation. Although it will take all my strength, I may be able to break his restriction. Unfortunately, it will definitely destroy his mind, and heʼll be useless if he becomes a mindless living being, so Iʼd better not do it.ʼ

”Mother?” Shang Yaolin, who had just finished bathing, called out in surprise. She immediately jumped onto her mother, causing Murong Qianying to fall onto the bed, and she rubbed her face against her breasts like a spoiled girl. ”When did you come to this realm? Why didnʼt you tell me before you came here?”

”I came here specifically to see this fox kid.” Shang Yaolin immediately looked up at Murong Qianying with a frown. ”Xinxin told me about his relationship with the heavenly fox race, so I immediately arranged my time to come to this realm.”

Shang Yaolin immediately jumped down from her motherʼs body and complained. ”I thought you came to this realm because you missed me, but it turns out you came for Longʼer.”

”Hey! Youʼre my only daughter, so of course I missed you.” Murong Qianying then sat down again and looked at Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”I want to discuss something with you about this kid, but we should talk in your brotherʼs room.”

Shang Yaolin seemed confused by that, so he turned to Shang Guangming, who nodded at him. They then followed their mother there, where Hong Xinxin was already waiting for them.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] naturally would not let them talk about him in his absence, so after making sure that no one was monitoring him, he immediately used his invisibility to sneak into Shang Guangmingʼs room to eavesdrop on them.

Upon their arrival, Murong Qianying immediately conveyed Hong Xinxinʼs idea to her daughter, causing Shang Yaolinʼs jaw to drop. After all, Zhang Xiaolong [3] was still too young in her eyes, and she herself was already hundreds of years old, so she felt that the two womenʼs idea of asking her to marry him in the future was completely insane.

ʼHeh!ʼ Zhang Xiaolong [3] inwardly sneered after hearing their plan. ʼDo you think I would be interested in Shang Yaolin? The Shang Clan is my enemy because you all have caused some of my closest people to suffer, so I will destroy you all in the future.ʼ

”Mother, I donʼt agree with your idea!” Shang Yaolin immediately rejected them. ”Longʼer is indeed a heavenly fox, and he will be useful to us; however, I will not sacrifice myself for such a thing!”

”Foolish girl!” Murong Qianying immediately scolded her daughter. ”He is not only a heavenly fox, but he is also a genius cultivator, so it doesnʼt matter if you marry him. Moreover, you can control him after you make a contract with him, so you can do whatever you want to him afterwards, even if you want to treat him as your slave.

The most important thing is that our familyʼs status can rise, and we can gain an important role in the Shang Clan, so we can think of another plan to get rid of Shang Huaqiang and take over the clan completely.”

After hearing that, Shang Yaolinʼs face darkened, ready to reject her mother once more. However, Hong Xinxin hurriedly spoke to her. ”Little Yaolin, you yourself have experienced being oppressed by the main members of the Shang Clan, and Longʼer is your main key to turning your situation around.

If you fail to form a contract with him, then we will never be able to get rid of Shang Huaqiang, and you will also be suppressed by them for the rest of your life. Thatʼs why we came up with an idea like that, and it is the best idea for all of us.”
