Chapter 335: Chapter 335: Jing Yan Takes Action Chapter 335: Chapter 335: Jing Yan Takes Action “Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!”

Besides Jing Yan and Jing Ziqi, the rest of the team urged their Primordial Energy and charged out.

“Ye Dong, don’t confront the Golden-eyed Bear just yet, stay by Ziqi’s side.” Lin Ru, after charging out, turned back to see only Jing Yan and Jing Ziqi at the rear and frowned slightly before instructing Ye Dong.

“Yes!” Ye Dong responded, stopped in his tracks, and then retreated a bit further.

Including Gao Lu, a total of four people surrounded and attacked four Golden-eyed Bears.

“Roar!”

“Boom boom boom!”

The fierce battle began.

Gao Lu also turned back and engaged a Golden-eyed Bear, blocking all four Golden-eyed Bears.

“Jing Yan, how did you know there were four Second-level Golden Pattern Spiritual Beasts?” Ye Dong looked at Jing Yan.

Jing Yan had said earlier that four Second-level Golden Pattern Spiritual Beasts were coming, and none of them had believed it, but now the truth was as Jing Yan had said, four Second-level Golden Pattern Spiritual Beasts had indeed appeared.

“I could sense them,” Jing Yan replied with the truth.

Hearing Jing Yan’s response, Ye Dong shook his head; he still didn’t believe what Jing Yan said.

Moments later.

“Roar!”

A Golden-eyed Bear let out a low growl, its paws striking out, and the slender Martial Artist fighting it was sent flying by the impact.

“Not good!” Ye Dong muttered in a low voice.

“Ziqi, be careful on your own, I need to go help!” Saying this, Ye Dong rushed out.

Although the slender Martial Artist was in the Late Innate Realm, it seemed he hadn’t been promoted for long and was relatively weak.

So, after engaging with the Golden-eyed Bear for a while, he began to falter.

Without anyone else’s help, it could be said he might not last much longer, at most twenty breaths, before being slapped to death by the Golden-eyed Bear.

Ye Dong rushed over to block the Golden-eyed Bear from the slender Martial Artist, who quickly rejoined the battle.

With two people against one Golden-eyed Bear, the pressure was greatly reduced.

“Thank you, Senior Brother Ye Dong,” the slender Martial Artist said, taking a moment to show his gratitude to Ye Dong.

“We’re a team; no need for thanks!” Ye Dong shook his head.

Ye Dong and the slender Martial Artist teamed up to fight the Golden-eyed Bear, which made it a lot easier.

However, killing the Golden-eyed Bear would also not be something that could be accomplished quickly.

The Golden-eyed Bears were full of vitality, and ordinary wounds wouldn’t affect their movement at all.

The battle continued!

“If this goes on, someone will surely die,” Jing Yan said, shaking his head as he watched the battlefield.

“Jing Yan, why don’t you go and help them?” Jing Ziqi said anxiously.

“They haven’t asked for my help, and if I rashly make a move and kill the Golden-eyed Bear, whose victory would that count as?” Jing Yan asked, his mouth twisting into a wry smile.

He said that, but when real danger came, he would still step in.

Jing Yan felt that Lin Ru was a decent person and he didn’t want to see her in any danger.

“Damn it!” Gao Lu suddenly yelled.

He barely dodged an attack from the Golden-eyed Bear, but a large gash was slashed across his left arm, and blood gushed out immediately.

Engaged in combat with the Golden-eyed Bear, he had no time to take any Healing Pills.

Gao Lu grew increasingly anxious.

His gaze shifted and suddenly landed on Jing Yan and Jing Ziqi in the rear, and a sinister light flashed in his eyes.

“Useless fools, just standing there watching without lifting a finger—where in the world is there such a good deal?” Gao Lu cursed and then darted towards Jing Yan and Jing Ziqi.

Naturally, the Golden-eyed Bear behind him followed, dragging its massive body along like a rumbling mountain.

“Gao Lu, what are you doing?” Lin Ru shouted in alarm upon seeing this scene.

“Sister Lin Ru, those two wastes are part of our team too, is there any reason we should labor while they stand by as spectators?” Gao Lu said with a malicious smile on his lips.

“Come back!

If you just hold on a bit longer, Ye Dong and the others will finish off that Golden-eyed Bear and then come to help you,” Lin Ru yelled anxiously.

Jing Ziqi, only a Martial Artist at the Innate Middle Stage Realm, wouldn’t possibly withstand a single blow from the Golden-eyed Bear.

And Jing Yan was even younger than Jing Ziqi, likely far less capable.

In this situation, by leading the Golden-eyed Bear over, Gao Lu was basically sending Jing Ziqi and Jing Yan to their deaths!

“I can’t hold on any longer!” Gao Lu called back without turning his head.

“Ziqi, run!” Lin Ru’s urgency was palpable.

But she was entangled with another Golden-eyed Bear and couldn’t extricate herself to help.

Moreover, she was quite far from Gao Lu’s Golden-eyed Bear and would have a hard time catching up even if she sprinted at full speed.

“Ziqi, what are you doing?

Run!” Lin Ru, her eyes red with urgency, shouted again upon seeing Jing Ziqi and Jing Yan still not moving, as if stunned.

“Roar!” In the midst of talking, the Golden-eyed Bear that followed Gao Lu had already closed in on Jing Yan and Jing Ziqi.

“Quick, help me stop this beast, I need to heal,” Gao Lu barked at Jing Yan and Jing Ziqi.

“It’s you who asked me to make a move,” Jing Yan said so.

“Stop your damn babbling and hurry up and deal with this beast,” Gao Lu, eyes bulging with fury, roared at them.

In reality, Gao Lu didn’t think Jing Ziqi and Jing Yan could take on the Golden-eyed Bear, but at least they could buy him some time.

That’s right, he intended to use the death of Jing Yan and Jing Ziqi to gain himself some time.

No matter how weak they were, it would take the Golden-eyed Bear some time to kill them both, at least a few breaths’ worth.

Those few breaths would be enough for him to take Healing Pills and recover some of his Primordial Energy.

It could be said that this was a strategy to kill two birds with one stone.

Not only could he buy himself a bit of time, but he could also eliminate Jing Yan and Jing Ziqi.

That way, there would be one less person to share the Academy Points they earned from completing the task.

Under Gao Lu’s roar, Jing Yan made his move.

Red Sword Light slashed towards the Golden-eyed Bear.

“Roar!”

The Golden-eyed Bear seemed to sense the danger and abruptly halted, its palms raised.

Its huge golden pupils turned to look at Jing Yan.

“Beast, prepare to die!” Jing Yan uttered a low shout.

He had already discovered the Golden-eyed Bear’s weakness—the bear’s nose was its most vulnerable spot.

Of course, with Jing Yan’s strength, he could easily kill the Golden-eyed Bear even with his eyes closed.

Why not save some effort if possible?

The Red Sword Light unleashed by Jing Yan pierced through the Golden-eyed Bear’s nose in a blink.

“Roar!” The Golden-eyed Bear let out a pitiful scream, then its body began to convulse.

Moments later, the Golden-eyed Bear fell to the ground.

Gao Lu was completely stunned, not having recovered from his shock.

When he saw Jing Yan act, he was overjoyed because the Golden-eyed Bear’s attention would surely be on Jing Yan.

He was already prepared to take out the Healing Pills, but then he saw the Golden-eyed Bear inexplicably collapse.
