Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1433: Chapter 1434: Kid, If You Don’t Agree, Fight!

Cheng Su’s belly was getting bigger, and she experienced the common swelling and cramps of pregnancy. One midnight, she woke up screaming, scaring Qi Taiguo out of bed with a thud.

Because Cheng Su was pregnant, and her belly was bigger, she had to sleep on her side now. Qi Taiguo was worried he’d inadvertently press on her, so he always slept near the edge of the bed. This scare naturally resulted in him falling off.

Qi Taiguo didn’t care about the pain in his own bruised behind, immediately got up and pulled the light switch. He saw Cheng Su already sitting on the bed, her hands clutching her right leg, body trembling.

”Is it a cramp?” Qi Taiguo asked, already sitting beside her, vigorously massaging her calf muscles.

”So painful.” Cheng Su was trembling all over, tears falling from her eyes.

Qi Taiguo felt heartache, continuously massaging her leg, asking, ”Feeling better?”

Cheng Su shook her head.

Qi Taiguo had no choice but to keep massaging, cursing, ”No matter if this is a cabbage or a piglet, once they’re out, I’m definitely gonna give them a beating for making you suffer like this, so unfilial!”

Cheng Su was suddenly amused, saying, ”This isn’t their fault, why curse my baby? I’m not convinced!”

”How is it not their fault? It’s because of nurturing them that it happened!” Qi Taiguo huffed lightly.

Just as Cheng Su was about to speak, there was a knock on the door.

”Big brother, is sister-in-law okay?” It was Qi Fengping asking from outside.

Qi Taiguo replied, ”She’s fine, your sister-in-law had a cramp, go back to sleep!”

Qi Fengping responded oh, and after a while, they heard the door closing in the next room.

Cheng Su said, ”My scream just now, surely all the neighbors heard it, it even woke Fengping up!”

”That’s true, maybe they thought I was abusing you!”

Cheng Su punched him with a teasing smile, feeling her leg was much better, and said, ”Never experienced cramps this painful before, being a mother is really not easy!”

Qi Taiguo put on a serious face, ”It’s tough for you, for me, for the Qi family, to have this child, thank you, my dear wife!”

”So cheesy.” Cheng Su’s heart was warm, yet she teased him, ”It’s partly my contribution too, alright!”

Qi Taiguo leaned in to kiss her, then lifted her shirt, pointing at her belly, ”Behave yourself, don’t make trouble for your mom, or when you come out, I’ll spank you till your butt blooms.”

Cheng Su looked down, as if in response to Qi Taiguo’s words, her belly moved, and a tiny fist print appeared before their eyes.

”Wow, protesting, protesting!” Cheng Su exclaimed in surprise.

Qi Taiguo also saw it, reached out and touched her belly, continued saying, ”Little one, are you discontented? Come on, fight if you’re not convinced!”

Another punch.

Qi Taiguo was astonished, he and Cheng Su exchanged a smile, continued talking, ”Looks like you’re quite stubborn, when you come out, we father and son will have a good match.”

Cheng Su knocked on his head, teased, ”What if it’s a cabbage?”

”Then it’s father and daughter. Our girl can learn some martial arts, let’s see who dares to bully her in the future.” Qi Taiguo immediately said, touching her belly, ”But for now, let’s agree to let your mom be at ease, don’t make her uncomfortable, your dad feels for her!”

”Hey Dad, Mom is hungry!” Cheng Su nudged Qi Taiguo, who was having fun talking to the child.

”On it, I’ll get you something to eat right away!” Qi Taiguo promptly dashed out of the room.

Cheng Su’s heart was warm and her mouth curled into a smile.

It’s enough, just for this kind of care, she was more than willing to have this child.
