Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1416: Chapter 1417: Another Investment

As February arrives, Cheng Su reaches her third month of pregnancy, with morning sickness subsiding. Her appetite has increased, needing a few meals a day, and in no time, the weight lost to nausea has quickly returned.

In February, the factory was completed, and various new technical equipment was delivered and installed. Joy Soon Loy launched several new jams, including salad dressing, following research.

Now it’s the late 1980s, and salad dressing, such a trendy food, is not quite popular yet. But with societal development, more and more Western restaurants are opening, so there is demand, and sales are decent.

With the factory expanding, in mid-February, Cheng Su called a meeting with Ning Ge and Cheng Yaozu.

In the proposal, Cheng Su advocated for establishing a personnel department, appointing a personnel manager specifically responsible for recruitment. The technical department paid a hefty sum to hire several technicians.

Joy Soon Loy’s factory has gradually stabilized, and the business expanded further, gaining more and more recognition.

Like previous years, Cheng Su is nurturing her pregnancy while attending school, meanwhile overseeing various industries. Life feels full.

Those around her have also changed significantly. First, her third uncle boldly borrowed money from the bank last year, formed a renovation team with some people from the countryside, and completed several jobs before the new year, officially entering the renovation business and becoming familiar with the process.

With the help of Cheng Su, he relocated the renovation team to Guangcheng this year, initially taking on some small renovation projects, slowly building up the business.

On her husband’s side, Qi Jianguo goes to college as expected, while Qi Fengping, after experiencing a major setback, has changed and focused on improving herself.

As for Elder Sister, although Zhang Jisheng occasionally causes trouble for the sake of the child, the days are peaceful and stable.

Her husband, Qi Taiguo, now Deputy Battalion Commander Qi, handles affairs neither poorly nor brilliantly. He mainly focuses on learning actively and has achieved several varying degrees of merits through assignments.

Regarding familiar neighbors, though their lives may have some disputes, they are peacefully passing their days without disasters or difficulties.

Cheng Su feels content with how life is progressing. If it continues like this, when her child is born, everything will be perfect.

Returning from school one day, Cheng Su tells Qi Taiguo she wants to invest in a new business.

Ming Xiaofan meticulously explains his proposal to Cheng Su. After reviewing, the proposal is thorough, and after hearing Ming Xiaofan’s eloquent explanation, Cheng Su has a basic idea.

She’s certain a communications company will succeed, knowing how advanced communications will become in the future. Investing might turn out well.

Moreover, the investment amount is not much, only five thousand yuan. Nowadays, it’s neither a lot nor too little, considering ten thousand yuan households are still rare!

Cheng Su asks Qi Taiguo for his opinion.

”Another one? You’re already overwhelmed!” Hearing about another investment, Qi Taiguo’s scalp tingles.

”Just like Sister Little Yu’s store, I’m only investing money, not managing it. You know, I’m from the future, and communications will definitely develop!” Cheng Su excitedly says, ”It’s still nothing now, but it’ll boom in a few years.”

”You’re drowning in money!” Qi Taiguo, annoyed, taps her forehead and says, ”Since you won’t manage it, I won’t interfere. Invest if you wish.”

With support, Cheng Su is overjoyed. The next day, she transfers the money to Ming Xiaofan and receives a shareholding certificate.
