The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 696: Star Final Part

”And so, Amiya, this is your room? Quite mundane and human. Seems like becoming a semi-universal entity didn’t make you change your habits,” Pandora says, touching my bookshelf, reading the covers and tossing everything onto the floor.

”...” I just stare at her with discomfort. I don’t really understand anything that’s happening here or why things are this way, and I understand even less why Pandora acts like she knows me.

”So, let’s get to your routine. What is it, exactly?” She circles back to the subject, and now I know I can’t just lie because she already knows everything and will react if I do.

”...The Star usually requests my presence so we can watch the universe and look for someone for some purpose. She still hasn’t told me why we’re searching for a person, but apparently it has something to do with our life?”

”Ah, yes, she’s looking for a new Amiya. Well, you’ll learn about that later. But hey, so while you observe the universe, do you do anything else?”

”S-Sometimes I help people... the Star said it’s good to help others, even though it uses a lot of power. If it’s only occasionally, we can offer some support. Unfortunately, I can’t see on my own; I need her to show me the world...” I say to Pandora, who throws herself onto my bed.

”How mundane. Why do you have a bed? Such vanity, Amiya. You don’t even need to sleep.”

”I just like sitting on it... is that a problem?”

”No, but it seems foolish for an entity to like a bed. Yet, I understand. I like certain things too, and look, I’m kind of an entity as well, aren’t I? Well, not me, but the Omnipotent Pandora is the true absolute entity, though she doesn’t like anything in particular.”

”...After observing people, the Star teaches me our magic and how to use it,” I resume explaining my routine. I don’t know why my routine interests Pandora, but I try not to give too many details.

”That’s good. The Star’s magic is quite strong, especially since it has excellent anti-monster effects that deal heavy damage... You know, I have some daughters. Maybe the future Amiya can be their little bitch, just like you were mine.” I become embarrassed and outraged by this absurdity that Pandora speaks.

”Look, I don’t know who you are, but please be respectful. I am an important entity for the balance of this universe, and don’t think I’ll accept such an absurdity and comparison!!” I say, irritated.

”Hahaha, how cute. Important for the universe!! Hahaha, it sounds almost hilarious. Do you know why you’re important to the universe? Because I allowed it. Don’t be so arrogant. I gave the Star an official position in this universe some time ago.”

”Since I had an agreement with the Star from before the current Star, I decided to be charitable and officialized your existence here, connecting you to this universe and integrating you as part of this place’s existence.”

”Thus, I made it easier for you to use magic, find new Amiyas, and even be part of the universe’s balance. Without me, you’d still be mere invaders living on borrowed time in a universe that never needed you.” She says absurd things.

”B-Blasphemy!! We never needed you!! The Star and I lived here in peace before I even knew you existed and—”

”Goddess of the Apocalypse. Your dear master must have mentioned that old title of mine, hasn’t she?” When she says that, I’m left in shock.

”I-It’s you?”

”Yes, yes, it’s me. Although I haven’t used that title for some time now. By the way, what a tedious routine you have, isn’t it? Reading books, observing people, helping people randomly, training magic, stabilizing your vitality, and then repeating.”

”...M-My life isn’t tedious. I like what I have here.”

”Of course you do. It’s better than the past, where you were a slave to your own corruption... and who would’ve guessed? It seems that truly, when a corrupted Amiya ascends to a Disciple of the Star, the Stars are cured of all corruption.”

”...W-What do you mean? What do you mean ’ascend’?”

”...I won’t tell you about that. It’s the duty of your dear Star to inform you about that kind of thing. It’s not my duty to speak of what has no direct or indirect ties to me. Just know that you will have a long conversation with the Star about this subject.”

”Although I think she won’t say anything. You’re still not ready to know the truth. But hey, at least your room is pretty. The luminous white aesthetic combined with white furniture and subtle gray details is truly beautiful.”

”By the way, you look beautiful with white hair. Gold was nice, but white on you turned out gorgeous. Though your tits got smaller, what a waste. You weren’t that well-endowed before, now you look even more ridiculous.”

”P-Please get out of my room!!”

”Hehehe... still too human, Amiya. You’re letting your emotions take over. The Stars are far more composed than you... but I can understand...”

”K-Kyaaa!” Suddenly she appears right in front of me, pressed against me as she grabs my ass. Startled, I try to push her away, but she squeezes and lifts me off the floor, carrying me to the bed.

”W-What are you going to do!! A-Are you crazy?” I say, pounding on her chest.

”Just a test. I want to see if I can corrupt a Disciple of the Star. Besides, just reminding you of the old times,” she says, kissing me. The sensation of it is so hot, as if it reminds me of something. I whimper into her kiss, feeling strange down below.

”I understand. So, it seems that despite your new body and the lack of memories, you still react as if your soul remembers everything. It seems there really are consequences when an Amiya is corrupted,” she says, pressing herself and rubbing against me.

”I-I’m going to tell the Star and—”

”Bark.”

”W-Woof woof...”

”...??!!!!”

”That’s it!! That’s it, Amiya. I knew you hadn’t disappeared completely. This is fun, isn’t it? I’m going to teach you something new today, Amiya. Divine entities aren’t bound to symbols, but abstract representative entities are.”

”The Stars are an abstract representative entity, so much so that their very name is a symbol. Star. Symbol of light, of hope, of the top, a beacon that guides hope. A symbol that can be dirtied, but can later be polished.”

”That’s why when an Amiya becomes corrupted, the Star becomes corrupted, but when the Amiya dies or becomes a Disciple of the Star, the Star is purified.”

”But do you know something about symbols? Once marked, they never change. You may have forgotten, but your new symbolic existence still remembers that you’re just my little bitch, and I want to prove that today!!” She says, running her hand along my cheek while I grow confused, yet I feel my body catching fire.

”Oh? Your eyes turned pink? How adorable. Are you that lustful already? Well, once a slut, always a slut, isn’t that right?” She says, kissing me while pinning me against the bed, starting something I don’t quite understand, but that I don’t resist, even though I’m trying to.

’Oh, Star, w-what is my future!? And w-what happened in my past!!!? Why does this feel so good?!!’
