The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 662: Elysia Part 4

”...Happy first birthday, Elysia!! I brought you a present to celebrate you finally reaching adulthood! You look so beautiful, just look at those big breasts!! A body so similar to mine.” Mom sets down a cake made of meat with blood syrup. I stare at the cake with an empty gaze.

”Th-thank you, Mom...” I say, my voice hollow, trying to hide all the contempt I feel for the mother who turned my life into hell. The closer I got to one year old, the more hellish and humiliating my life here became.

I’ve come close to dying thousands of times, and my defeat count in duels has surpassed four thousand. She’s attacked me more than five times a day, every single day, in random duels.

The verbal and physical humiliation pushed me to the limit. The horrible things I was forced to do completely traumatized me. So many terrible things she ordered me to do and forced me to carry out.

”Aren’t you going to eat, daughter? My little sinner.”

’Sinner...’ I bite my lips until blood comes out. In the past, I only wished to make her happy, and even now, after everything, I love Mother Pandora. But I also hate her deeply.

And she always says that. ’Sinner.’ It’s become a stigma on my life. Am I not already a sinner? After all the evil I’ve done, haven’t I committed sins?

”Mother... may I ask for an honest answer to just one question?” I just need to know why. Why am I still not the sinner who will make her stop hurting me?

”Hmm, since it’s your first birthday, fine. You may ask, and I will answer.”

”M-Mother, am I not a sinner? What is missing for you to stop hurting me?”

”That was two questions, but very well. No, you are still a woman with a pure heart.”

”THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE!! HOW?!” I stand up, flipping the table. Mom looks at the cake on the floor, then looks at me with contempt.

”Wasting your mother’s gift? I used my milk to make that cake. Your heart is still far too pure, Elysia. Killing? Torture? Everything I ordered you to do? None of that is a sin in our race.”

”...I don’t want you to sin like humans do. You are not human, nor a goddess. You are a Tenebris Abyssus. You should know what I want from you.”

”Why, Mother? Why do you want me to attack you?! Th-this doesn’t make any sense... why...”

”Why, Elysia? Because you are a perfect Tenebris Abyssus. You’re not a hybrid like your sisters you never met. Unlike them, where their biology is partly broken.”

”You carry the same traits I do. It means it’s hell for you to attack your mother, to betray your mother, to hurt your mother. And even desiring her is a sin that will destroy you slowly, consuming you with guilt.”

”A guilt you will be incapable of overcoming for all eternity. I want nothing more than that. The goddess Elysia was someone very ’pure’ in her own perspective, and I swore I would destroy any form of purity she thought she possessed.”

”You’re an adult now, sweetie. That means...”

”N-No... Mother... p-please... I-I don’t want to train anymore!!! Please don’t make this worse!!”

”It seems you’ve understood, my little sinner. I’ll make the training worse starting tomorrow. I’ll make it a hundred times worse. In fact, I’ll make the training worse every single year. That means on your next birthday, the training will be a thousand times worse compared to today! After all, it will already have gotten a hundred times worse tomorrow, and tomorrow’s training will be worsened by another hundred times next year!” She pats my head with a smile before walking away.

”I suggest you eat the cake, because starting today, I’ll only give you food once every month. And it will be a very strong and dangerous monster. And it won’t just stay for one hour anymore. No, it will have twenty-four hours free to hunt you.”

”Also, the monster will be hungry too, so you won’t be able to hide like you do during some of the meals you can’t win.” Mom speaks with mockery, heading to her room as I collapse on the floor.

”H-Hic...” I hate Mother Pandora so much, but in my heart, I love her despite all of this. Why? Why can’t I just hate her as I should after all her cruelty?

Why am I so broken and still love this sick woman? Why did I have to be born as this abomination’s daughter? Why did my past self pick a fight with precisely such a psychopathic monster?

’I-I can’t take this!! I’m going to die!!’ I barely made it to one year old. If she keeps this up, I’m really going to die. There’s no way I can survive even a month now that I’m an adult.

’The jewel... that’s it, isn’t it?... sin... I need to sin against Mother... I need to sin against Mother... I need to sin against Mother... I need to sin against Mother... I need to sin against Mother... I need to sin against Mother... I need to sin against Mother... I need to sin against Mother... I need to sin against Mother...’ I start heading toward where she left that jewel.

Supposedly, if I eat that thing, she’ll become weaker, and I’ll gain most of her powers. In return, we’ll be sealed inside this house, but that doesn’t matter.

If I don’t do this, I’ll die here. I don’t care about being trapped forever with Mother. I just need to survive, no matter how.

”...” I reach the room and see that jewel sitting there. Eating this would be wrong. I said I’d never do this to Mother, but I can’t help it. She’s going to destroy me. She already broke my mind, and now she’s going to kill me!!

”Haa...” I grab the stone, looking around as if she might appear at any moment, and then I place the jewel in my mouth. My teeth can’t chew it, so I just swallow it whole.

”...?...” I feel strange. My whole body feels so much better, and I feel my power growing. The sensation of easy power, without needing to fight so hard for it, is addictive.

”...?” I hear a sound and look to the side, seeing Mother in the doorway. She has a malicious smile, but the strangest thing is the outfit she’s wearing. Normally, she always wears a dress, always a black dress, but now she’s wearing only black underwear, a very revealing lingerie set.

”M-Mother... I-I...”

”I see you’ve stolen my powers. The fear of death is something intense, isn’t it? But now I’m weaker than you. I noticed my power decaying immediately. You were quite the attacker, stealing my power as soon as you learned of your future. What a bad girl.”

”...I-I don’t want to hurt you... I-I just wanted to... u-urgh... haaa!?” I feel strange, falling to the floor, feeling as if my body is burning.

”My little sinner, you know I’m quite honest, don’t you? I always tell you the truth, and I didn’t lie about what that jewel did... but I forgot to warn you.”

”It was also a very potent drug. Soon, you’re going to attack your mommy here, driven by the immense lust you’ll feel.”

”...!!? WHY?!!” I don’t understand. Why? Just... why? It doesn’t make sense!! To any rational person, it doesn’t make sense.

”Why would you make me... haaa... want to rape you?!” I don’t understand.

”Obviously because it’s wrong. It’s not just a betrayal against your biology, but also the moral betrayal that will give you the guilt I want you to feel. Don’t you love Mommy? Then come, my little sinner.”

”Do something not even Elysia would have had the courage to do.” I start to cry while Mother laughs. I feel the impulses hitting my body, combining with my new power, messing up my mind.

”That’s it, my little sinner. Come on. But know this: as obscene and depraved as I am, not even I dared to desire my mother. I NEVER saw her as something I could touch sexually. And here you are, about to fuck your own mother. How proud I am of you.” When she says she’s proud of me, the little rationality I tried to hold onto shatters completely, like glass.
