The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 651: Divine Battle — Final Part

”...I will not beg for my life... even if you torture me.” Elysia speaks with difficulty. Because of the absurd vitality we have as goddesses, she is still alive and able to talk. It is truly impressive, considering the extensive damage to her body.

However, she made a mistake, and she made it badly. It’s almost hilarious that she thinks I’m going to torture her as if I were some stupid animal. Physical torture I reserve for people on whom it works.

”Torture you?... Hahahah— u-urgh...” I stop laughing, spitting blood. I really wanted to laugh in her face because she thinks I’m just going to torture her, but I’m in too much pain to manage it.

’I’d better start soon... I have no time to waste...’ I have no ink and no Mana to spend on material creation, so I use my own blood to draw a magic circle on the ground, forming a barrier around us. It’s small, aimed only at preventing her soul from leaving here if she dies before I finish what I’m about to do.

”I won’t let you reincarnate, Elysia... at least not without my control.” Elysia stares at me, confused, as I use my blood to draw a magic circle on her forehead.

The magic circle is quite complex, and my hands are extremely shaky from the damage to them, which makes it a little harder. The magic circle comes out a bit crooked, but it’s stable, so it’ll do.

”Arhhrgghhrr!!” She screams in pain when I shove my hand underneath, inside her body. I grab what’s left of her heart and tear it out. Blood drips down my hand onto the floor as I bring the heart to my mouth, devouring it to get some degree of extra recovery.

”Y-You son of a bitch...” She curses me, trying to move her arm, but she exhausted her body so much that it barely reaches me before her arm falls. Not that my situation is much better.

I’m only more stable than her because the damage to my body is less physical and more focused on my existence, while I still have some magic left to stabilize the wounds.

’I only have magic thanks to Violet and Blayze.’ The two of them helped a lot with the final blow by supplying their magic, since thanks to that I was able to save a reserve of 9% of all the Mana I had. And combined with the Mana still left in my body, my current Mana is at 21% of total capacity.

”KYAAAAAA!!!” She lets out a desperate scream of pain when the magic on her head activates, which even makes her thrash around with terrible agony, before she returns to normal, panting from the pain.

She tries to take a deep breath to calm her body, which emits an unpleasant wheeze due to the damage to her organs.

”Don’t you think you’re already working overtime in this life, Elysia? I know you don’t fear death because you’ll reincarnate. That’s very obvious. And unfortunately, I don’t know how I could destroy your soul completely before you reincarnate.”

I spoke a lot with my mother and Azraelith, and although my mother knows how to destroy the souls of goddesses, it doesn’t work on all goddesses because each goddess has her own reincarnation magic, and that method wouldn’t work on Elysia’s magic. Which is probably why Elysia is so calm right now.

”I also don’t have enough magic to try various things until I find something that works! And you don’t even have five minutes of life left before your soul departs, so the time for attempts is very short. But fortunately, you’re in luck, Elysia.”

”Since I had previously already found a solution, and from what I see, it looks like it will work.” Elysia looks at me, confused, without saying anything.

”After all, soon you’ll be able to call me Mommy.” I say with a huge, malicious smile on my face. She looks at me, confused, when I say that soon she’ll be able to call me Mommy.

”Are you... insane?” She gives a scornful smile as she asks, while blood drips from her mouth.

”Oh no, no, Elysia. I’ve never been more sane than I am right now. It just so happens that, since I can’t stop your reincarnation or destroy your soul, I decided it’s easier to force you to reincarnate into a baby I can control.”

”But it would have to be a compatible one, strong enough to withstand your soul, and above all, one that is within my reach. And nothing is better than the baby in my womb.” I say, stroking my belly where this little life is forming, my child with Azraelith.

”!!!” She enters a complete state of shock upon hearing what I said.

”Did you think I would spend the time I have torturing you physically? Oh no, Elysia. I will do MUCH worse. That magic on your head is destroying and fragmenting your memories directly into your soul.”

”When you are reborn, you will NEVER be able to remember completely again. You’ll only have small, misshapen fragments of memories of what you were before. And as my daughter, I will make you my successor.”

”I will make you a monster as cruel, bloodthirsty, and terrible as I am. I will sink you into so many sins that you will never again have a chance to seem ’pure’ in any way.” When I say this, her eyes darken in pure despair.

Because Elysia does not fear death. However, one thing she undoubtedly fears is losing the pedestal of purity she boasts so much about. As the goddess of humans, her arrogance regarding her position and her ”aspect” is very great.

But now? Now she will become the same type of monster she so despised her entire life. There is no torture stronger than this. For a being like Elysia, becoming a monster is hell.

And even better, she will become my daughter soon. For the current Elysia’s mind, there is no personal hell greater than being my daughter and being the monster she tried so hard to eliminate from existence.

”N-No!! YOU CAN’T DO THIS TO ME!!” She screams at me, using all her strength to speak properly. She tries to point at me while a weak light glows in her hands, but nothing happens as her despair grows.

”The ritual is complete. Thank you for accepting... why the surprised face? Did you think I was telling you my plan for no reason?” When I say this, she looks at her hand, realizing that the absorption of her magic was one of the activation conditions. If she hadn’t tried to attack me, the magic would have failed because she’s no longer emitting magic due to the damage.

”Predictable, Elysia. So predictable.”

”PANDORA, YOU MISERABLE—” I crush her head with a punch, exploding it into several pieces and finishing her life at once. This makes the magic circle emit a faint glow before my womb shines so intensely that golden and black light pierces through my skin.

”Don’t worry, Elysia. I’m not that happy about having to give birth to your existence either. I had to use up the space of a real child just to have you, so I’m going to collect that debt.” Elysia will now be a Tenebris Abyssus without hybridism. That way, she will have the filial loyalty our race possesses without any of the flaws my daughters have.

Soon, she will be much more like me. And unfortunately, she will be superior to my other daughters. However, since my goal is partly a personal revenge against her hatred for me, I will make her my successor.

She will be the daughter whose every step I will accompany, and I will teach her to be as cruel as I am. I will teach her magic, how to govern, and maybe even teach her other things, just to see the decadent state of Elysia, who will never be able to understand the fragments of memory she can glimpse.

’I’m hungry...’ I begin to devour Elysia’s corpse to recover all the energy I can while I can. Her taste is actually quite delicious, better than I expected.

’Unfortunately, I couldn’t erase all her memories.’ Erasing billions of years of memories is impossible to do so quickly, so all I could do was fragment every existing memory.

”Destiny is truly... very ironic...” I reincarnated into this world thanks to Elysia, in a way. All the fault of the hero summoning circle she made that summoned me in the past.

Without Elysia doing that thing, ”Pandora” wouldn’t exist. In other words, my creation is indirectly Elysia’s fault. That’s why it’s really a damn irony that her fate is to reincarnate as my baby.

”Well, I guess it doesn’t matter.” A reincarnated being is no longer the same being as before. Elysia no longer exists. That being died so that an almost entirely new being could be born.

”I wish I could help my sister and mother so much...” I look in the direction where I sense very intense magic waves. I wish I could provide support, but I’m too weakened. Besides, I’m carrying Elysia’s soul in my womb in a very exposed way.

No one knows about this plan of mine, but if at this moment Mommy and Azraelith see my body, they will perceive her soul. And I don’t want to get into trouble explaining why I made Elysia my daughter. I need a few hours for the soul to completely merge with the baby inside me and no longer be noticeable.

”I think... I can... still help...” I still have some degree of magic. If I prepare magic circles, I can fire off spells in a moment of need to help them by hitting the enemy out of nowhere.

It’s all I can do. So, using my blood, I begin to draw on the ground, hoping that the two of them win their battles.
