The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 691: A Beach Day for the Avatars Part 2

”You’re terrible!! You big-titted sow! I think all that milk in those giant udders of yours sank your IQ right along with the scale going up!” Pandora Z shouts at Pandora D, fighting over a volleyball point. Pandora D also hurls insults at Pandora Z as the fight escalates, all because Pandora Z scored a point and Pandora D says there was no point at all and that she missed.

”...” The fight between the two escalates with really heavy insults while Pandora M flips the meat with a spatula, ignoring their fight.

”Pandora, what do you think about the future? It’s kind of weird to think about it when we’re so young,” Pandora G says to me while I pick up a glass of blood mixed with wine and sugar.

”I don’t know, ask the omnipotent Pandora, she’s omniscient, isn’t she?” I say with a certain disdain, making my displeasure with the previous situation and what she caused very clear.

”[The future is quite simple. Remember the universe I created where Akari currently lives? I connected it to this one to form a safe barrier. It will prevent external universe invaders from coming to live here.]”

”[This universe is mine now, and I don’t want little space rats seeking refuge where my avatars live. That means there’s nothing left that can threaten you, who are far too strong for this world’s standards.]”

”[So, your future is guaranteed and isn’t really dangerous. You’ll probably still live for a very long time if you choose to live for a very long time.]” Omnipotent Pandora actually answers.

”Isn’t talking about the future bad for the future?”

”[The consequences of speaking about and changing the future for someone who knows the exact future is existential erasure. But who would erase me? There is no being ’greater’ than me. That’s what it means to be omnipotent.]”

”[Me saying something makes it an absolute rule, you don’t need to worry.]” What Omnipotent Pandora says somewhat calms my perspectives about the future, because all of us avatars have relatively low levels.

Most here are level 100 thousand, and Pandora G is only level 50 thousand. Besides that, the only avatar with a truly high number of levels is the one currently with Azraelith, and he’s strong precisely because Azraelith is very strong.

”Hey, Omnipotent Pandora, how’s Elysia doing?” Pandora M asks, eating a piece of rare steak. We know we have one more daughter, but no one here knows how she’s doing.

”[An avatar specifically for her is currently taking care of everything related to her, but I can say she’s in a desperate situation for her biology.]”

”Is that so, and what’s happening?” Pandora G asks with curiosity, since no one here knows how she’s being punished.

”[Perhaps in the future, the Pandora who is taking care of Elysia will make a projection of the two of them here to communicate. Neither of them will leave the place they’re in, but nothing stops them from trying to communicate with you all, just to show off the new Elysia.]”

”Perhaps?” I question this perhaps. Isn’t she omnipotent? She should know everything, shouldn’t she?

”[I used ’perhaps’ because it’s a matter of her own choice. I know the answer, and I know her choice, but she’s the one who has to choose and come. So the most concrete answer is a ’perhaps’ because that’s what works best at the moment.]” Omnipotent Pandora gives a very technical answer.

”You know what, I’m not going to stand here talking to a door that knows everything,” I say, getting up from my chair. Omnipotent Pandora is strange, everything about her is strange. Her way of speaking, her way of thinking, her choice of words. It’s like looking at someone totally different, but at the same time strangely similar to us avatars.

”Hey, you two, I’m getting in the game!! Pandora G and Pandora M, anyone want to complete the team?” I say, heading over to Pandora Z’s side.

”I’m in,” Pandora G says while Pandora M just gives a light growl, turning all her focus back to the food. Pandora G does a quick little run over to Pandora D, stopping by her side.

”Shall we start? How about a challenge too? The winner... can give any order they want for the entire night of this vacation day to the loser!! Since there are four of us, it means whoever scores the fewest points becomes a slave for 12 hours!” I say to them to make things more exciting.

Everyone gets more tense, especially Pandora G who is the weakest. However, Pandora Z soon smiles.

”Wonderful! It’s the best way to show that big-titted sow who the best avatar is!” Pandora Z says with extreme malice, throwing the ball up to start the match.

She hits the ball with extreme force, but Pandora G quickly jumps onto Pandora D’s back and jumps again upwards, hitting the ball in the air. I run to the left side, sliding across the sand, and hit the ball.

’I see.’ We’re very strong, but the ball, the net, and the size of the playing space can’t take much. So we have to limit ourselves a lot, and Pandora G, who is already weaker, restricts herself less.

”Is that all you’ve got?” Pandora D says, jumping and hitting the ball. The ball flies past me extremely fast because I was distracted. Fortunately, Pandora Z defends it and manages to send it back.

The ball stays in the air for some time before falling. Pandora G jumps up lightly and lands in Pandora D’s hands, who throws her upwards. She hits the ball up there with great force.

I leap forward, dragging my body across the sand, but I manage to hit the ball and send it upwards. Unfortunately, the angle is bad and the ball falls out.

”Ah, shit!! You short little bitch!!” I complain at Pandora G, who is more skilled than I expected. Even though we can’t use all our strength, depending on the angle of the ball, you can’t hit it correctly.

’That little whore practically glued the ball to the net area.’ It’s centimeters from the net on my side, really annoying.

”Don’t underestimate me, please. I-”

”Shhh, weak little girly runts have no right to speak here!!” Pandora Z interrupts Pandora G, making her furrow her eyebrows in anger.

”Y-You’re lucky that Grimm can see my future, otherwise I’d say a lot of bad words to you!” She says, kicking the sand in frustration as the ball returns to play. I wonder which one of us will win.
