The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 689: New Kingdoms Final Part

”Eclipsyaaaa... are you sure about this? Mama sent a bunch of letters about what to do with the rules!!” I say to Eclipsya, who’s sitting on a throne like a tyrant! She managed to build a castle with some delay and difficulty, but now we have our castle, and it’s really beautiful, huge, and full of things.

So we already have the foundation to build our kingdom, but Mama Pandora sent letters forbidding certain things, especially fighting, and now Eclipsya is mad because she can’t go fight Aqua or Lycoris over what happened before.

Because of that, she’s spent the last few days holed up in the castle creating laws and rules to fit what Mama Pandora said, and she just finished adjusting how the castle barrier will work, so I question if she’s sure about the differentiated barrier.

”Haaa... Azazel, just be quiet... I’m frustrated right now, it’s a lot of boring work, and I don’t know how to attract people to come live in this kingdom, I don’t have much patience for anything at the moment, it’s not with you obviously, but I don’t want to say stupid things to you.” She speaks with a cold gaze toward the castle window.

’That actually makes sense...’ Eclipsya focused 100% on studying magic and strengthening herself so she could take me for herself, while her mother never taught her to govern since her mother wasn’t a queen or anything similar, so she’s having some difficulties.

”Eclipsya, let me help!! Mama Grimm taught me how to govern!! You just need to finally stop being rebellious and denying my help.” Mama Grimm always treated me in a way that taught me various things, and one of them was how to govern, since Mama Grimm is the queen of the vampires, so naturally it made sense she’d teach me to be a queen.

”...Haaa... alright, I guess I’m having too many difficulties and some help will be useful, you can help me... I tried to do everything on my own, but I just found out it’s all harder than it seems, especially because my wrong decisions could anger Mama Pandora... and I don’t want her mad at us.” Eclipsya finally sets her pride aside.

”Alright, little sister Eclipsya!! You’ll see that I know how to lead well!! I’ll take care of the paperwork, the administration, the political matters, and I’ll also handle attracting the people! You can focus on building the territory boundaries, and you can also mark our border on the map.” I say to her in a happy tone because she’s letting me help.

”Since Mama Pandora limited how many territories we can use around us to make our kingdom, we have to be strategic about how we use the resources we have! We can also try to negotiate with Mama Pandora and the mermaids for resources, food, and labor!!” I say quickly, making Eclipsya look at me in shock.

”Of course, we can also buy more territories from Mama Pandora! I know if we have something of value she’d accept a deal, and that could help us a lot! I can also ask Mama Grimm for gifts and we can sell them to get money! Not to mention we have the great alchemist of the demons, who’s my friend!! And they can help us for free!!!”

”Since when do you know how to do all this?” She asks, genuinely surprised by me, but it’s obvious that I know exactly what to do in this kind of situation! Eclipsya underestimates me way too much!!

”Mama taught me all of this ever since I was younger! Since what she could do with me was limited, she focused a lot on teaching me things, and then came the physical and magical training that you ended up partially seeing that one time!!” I say to her, confident in my abilities.

”Very good... alright, you’ve convinced me, I’ll follow your lead for now, after all you’re also the queen of this kingdom, and I’m stuck in this annoying bottleneck trying to get through it.” She speaks with a big confident smile.

I’m happy that she trusts me enough to just yield, and it makes me take a step forward, puffing out my chest and trying to give off an air that I know very well what I’m doing and won’t ruin everything.

”That’s right, little sister Eclipsya!!! I also govern this place, so let’s have my amazing ideas flowing through here!! Besides that, I also want to do a few extra things beyond what was planned!! For example, involving other vampires! I think if I talk to Mama Grimm, she’ll let vampires come live in our kingdom.”

”A more stable start than what I bet the other sisters are having!! I bet Aqua and Lycoris are still at the very beginning and don’t even have a castle like we do!” I say in a bold way to Eclipsya, who lets out a little laugh.

”Yeah, I think you’re completely right, let’s keep going like this for now, and besides that I think we can also create homunculi as servants! Like Kaelith.” Eclipsya gives a great idea.

And since I’m friends with Kaelith and we talk a lot, she even taught me how to make homunculi through transmutation using magic circles and alchemy! So with some practice, we’ll be able to make homunculi!

”You’re right!! Since we don’t have servants yet aside from my clones, we can create homunculi similar in style to Kaelith to have as servants!! Later we can hire servants to complement what’s missing!!” I say, excited about it. We’re creating something solid here.

”Besides servants, we need to deal with some other problems, like monsters, but that can be solved by creating an adventurer’s guild branch from Mama’s kingdom in our kingdom, and besides, since we can hunt monsters ourselves, that concern is minor.” I complement my speech with another good idea that I at least think would work.

”Yes, Azazel... that idea could work, we can also extract wood from the nearby forests and build a dam by diverting a river to our location!! Thus solving the water problem and creating land for harvesting.” Eclipsya gives another good idea.

”That’s perfect, little sister Eclipsya!! With this, our kingdom is taking shape in a mentally visible way! We’ll only need to think about things like the economy later, and what our kingdom can produce so we earn money to maintain the kingdom!” Those are things we can think about later! For now, everything is going well.

”Come here! I’ll give you some affection.” She speaks, opening her arms. I go to her with a huge smile on my face. ’I’m going to impress Eclipsya so much that she’ll want to lock me in a basement forever!!!’

’Hehehe, charming Eclipsya will be so easy!’ Obviously, I’m giving my best to increase Eclipsya’s love for me!! I can’t wait for her to chain me up with those new chains she’s been creating recently.
