The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 654: Echidna vs Eryndriel & Elowen Part 2

I try to grab Elowen, but suddenly an attack pierces my body from behind. I look back and see Eryndriel, and I notice something strange—Eryndriel was never good at regeneration.

’Why is she recovering so fast...’ My body bolts forward, rushing toward her at an extreme speed. She seems to panic a little and tries to put some distance between us, but I reach her before she can and slam her into the ground with a punch.

My tentacles grab her legs and try to pull them in opposite directions to tear her in two. Elowen tries to get in the way, creating barriers and attacking my tentacles, which partially works, but I’ve already found what I was looking for.

”[You stupid little pointy-eared freak]” My voice comes out as a distorted cacophony as I kick the elf goddess far away. My tentacles aim backward, firing countless red shots of pure energy at Elowen.

’Eryndriel sold her soul to something in exchange for more power... this seems like... the King of the Red Ocean...’ This universe has a few ”visitors” like the star. One of them is the King of the Red Ocean, who inhabits his own dimension called the Sea of Blood.

The King of the Red Ocean has many names and is a creature that lives in this universe. Unlike the stars, he stays hidden in another dimension, and from what I know, Pandora has had contact with him before, even if indirectly.

She sacrificed that traitor demon called Thalor to the Ocean of Blood, where the King of the Red Ocean was waiting. It seems Eryndriel has decided to ask him for help.

”[Do you think just because you can regenerate now you’re something special?]” I say, irritated by this. It’s an insult that she thinks mere regeneration is enough to face me. These stupid, idiotic tricks are frustrating.

”[Hytuk Gerhem Orzhar]” I use magic in the divine language, firing an immense red disc at Eryndriel that shreds every tree in its path and hits her head-on.

When the blow strikes her, I appear in front of her and grab her again. My tentacles wrap around her entire body as they begin to twist and pull, trying to break her like she’s a ceramic doll.

Eryndriel fights against it, using various spells that blow holes through my body, but I’m not one to give up. I keep pulling at her limbs. I hear the cracking of her Mana armor shattering before my strength.

She fires a pink beam of light that blows my head off. In an irritated response, I violently slam her against the ground. I start spinning and smashing her against every hard structure I find, trying to break her Mana armor. Elowen returns to the fight, approaching me and using her staff.

She tries to fire magic at me, combining it with Eryndriel’s spells. My body begins to be torn apart, but I don’t stop trying to dismantle Eryndriel’s body, pulling with all my might.

Eryndriel starts screaming in pain as my passives amplify any damage to the maximum. From the mouth on my stomach, I fire an immense charge of Doom Element Mana at her.

Pandora truly did an exceptional job creating this element. Eryndriel recites a quick spell from her mouth, firing an attack that forms a golden, green, and white spiral that destroys my attack and part of my stomach.

But my tentacles take advantage of this to enter her mouth, twist, and rip her jaw off. While she wastes time regenerating her jaw, Elowen starts trying to hit me desperately while attacking with magic.

’68% total body damage, a dangerous rate.’ If this keeps up, I’m going to die. Even their weak attacks are wrecking my body. I reinforce my tentacles with Mana as I see Eryndriel’s arms and legs starting to bleed where they are beginning to tear.

”[World Tree Explosion]” Elowen tries a final gambit. An immense beam of green energy is fired from the largest tree among all those surrounding me. My entire upper body is vaporized.

”[Spiritual Manifestation]” I use magic, instantly reconstructing my whole body.

”I-Impossible...” Elowen stares at my face when I look at her with pure hatred. She seems to think I regenerated, but more precisely, I molded my body to the shape of my soul using the ”flesh” that remained. Inside, my body is hollow. It wasn’t true, pure regeneration.

”GAAAAAHHH” She screams when I punch this piece of shit slut, sending her flying millions of miles from here, as I turn my attention back to Eryndriel, who has now stopped attacking and is focusing entirely on trying to defend herself.

Her regeneration begins to falter as her flesh tears, but she doesn’t give up, continuing to resist while using Mana to try and burn my tentacles, which are taking damage from the pressure.

”[You seem very determined to win. Is it because of that damn nature goddess? You want to protect her, don’t you, you tree-worshipper?]”

”[Remember the past? When you all ganged up against me and my sister? Do you think I’ll forget your cowardice in using her against me? Do you think I’ll forget how focused you were on killing her first?]” I increase the pressure even more, pulling with all my strength.

”D-Don’t touch Elowen!! She has nothing to do with this,” Eryndriel speaks defiantly.

”[Yes, she does. She has everything to do with this. She helped you kill my sister. She was the battery that helped you take the life of the one I loved most.]”

”[Because of you, I lost her, and now that I’ve recovered her, all I have is a fragile shell that will never be the sister I loved so much.]” Eryndriel starts moaning in pain and screaming as she becomes drenched in blood.

But her pain doesn’t compare to my hatred. Even though I love Evangeline, who is the reincarnation of my sister, it still isn’t the same thing.

”[And you and Elysia are the ones I hate the most. You’re the one who dealt the final blow to my sister, you fucking envious bitch. You hated her. Don’t pretend to have a morality you don’t possess.]” To escape, she cuts off one of her own legs with a beam of magic, unbalancing my tentacles.

With that, she manages to fire an arrow through her own blood at my chest, piercing my ”heart.” She quickly breaks free from the restraint and tries to get some distance.

”[You took the life of the one I loved most with your own hands. While Elysia is the whore who orchestrated everything, you were her little lapdog who helped her.]” I charge at her, trampling everything in my path.

She leaps from tree to tree, regenerating as she fires homing arrows at me, but I let myself be hit just so I don’t waste time dodging. My tentacles simply move in front of me as I start to climb the tree she is climbing.

”T-This has nothing to do with it, a-and even if you hate me, Elowen didn’t know anything. She didn’t know what she was helping with!!” Eryndriel tries to defend that mediocre goddess.

”[A lack of knowledge changes nothing. She knew we were fighting. Her helping obviously made her a part of all of this, even if she didn’t know it at the time.]”

”[Gram Merodatith]” Eryndriel fires an immense magic arrow from up there. Just the tip is larger than my body. When it hits me, my body is crushed and knocked from the tree, turning into a black puddle on the ground upon collision that releases an immense wave of Mana.

’Damage at 99%...’ The deformed flesh clings to the arrow. It was the most damage I’ve ever taken in my life because of my lack of defense.

”[When I’m done killing you, I’m going to rape that whore until she breaks, and then I’ll dismember her slowly while I devour her soul. Your cowardice will only speed up that fact.]” My body, transformed into a viscous pulp of flesh, slides out from under the arrow.

It accelerates toward where Elowen was thrown. At this, Eryndriel loses control. When she hears what I said, she starts firing arrows wildly from the top of the tree.

”Don’t touch her, you freak! This is why monsters like you should never have been born!! YOU WILL NOT TOUCH HER!!” She starts filling the arrows with so much magic that each impact against the ground generates monstrous shockwaves.

But my body dodges everything, and when she starts to charge a large spell, she ends up doing exactly what I wanted. My body expands violently like an ocean.

The entire area for billions of miles is covered in a black slime, while both Eryndriel and Elowen are submerged in this viscous ocean. Eryndriel is confused, trying to swim, but her sense of direction is gone.

”[I am the greatest predator in existence, Eryndriel. Don’t forget that.]” I ’embrace’ Eryndriel from all sides as her body begins to dissolve. At this moment, she has already been devoured. This entire forest has been devoured, and now they are inside my stomach.

”!!!” She tries to do anything—fire arrows, swim, use barriers—but nothing works anymore, because from the moment she tried to charge an attack, she didn’t realize my body had covered the entire place.

The black fluid enters every orifice of her body, consuming her from the inside out, while even her soul begins to be penetrated by the black fluid. Pandora was based on me.

Pandora is an Apex predator because I am too. But I am not just any Apex Predator. I am the absolute predator with the ability to devour even Special Grade Weapons said to be unbreakable.

Pandora’s passive [Devourer] is the inferior version of a secret passive I have called [Consume], which allows me to literally consume anything that has at some point connected to existence.

”N-No... d-don’t h-hurt... E-Elowen...” Eryndriel’s last words are full of despair, a pathetic plea. However, I admit I felt a certain fear when that giant arrow hit me and I saw the damage ”counter” go up.

I have a passive called [Last Chance]. It makes me effectively immortal while showing a damage counter, as long as my body has a maximum of 99.5% damage. Eryndriel reached 99% total damage, almost hitting the deactivation percentage of my passive.

”[I didn’t spend all that time in the abyss standing still, Eryndriel. I trained. I trained a lot so I could bring an end to your existence.]” I speak to Eryndriel’s soul, which is beginning to be consumed.

Even her reincarnation magic, which isn’t as fast as Elysia’s, fails, being consumed by me.

With that, Eryndriel ceases to exist. But not just her body. Everything of her ceases to exist. Even the memories other beings have of her were consumed by my passive. Eryndriel is no longer something recognizable to anyone outside the goddesses, and even the goddesses will, in the future, forget that a being called Eryndriel ever existed.

”[Now I will fulfill what I said, you whore. You took the person I loved the most, so I will break the person you loved the most.]” Eryndriel, who could never hide her love for Elowen, gave me the perfect ammunition.

”...[Tsk]” Elowen ends up being expelled from my stomach out of the black ocean. The damage has destroyed my body too much.
