The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 119: Preparations

The crystal ball shines brightly, and an image quickly appears. I see Varion and Zephyra. Zephyra has a blindfold on because they didn’t know I would be answering.

”D-Demon King... w-we apologize, we were unable to meet the goal, it’s just that...” I raise my hand to shut him up. I don’t need Varion’s lame excuses.

”Tell your daughter to remove the blindfold,” I say to Varion in an authoritative tone. He does as I requested, and I see Zephyra’s enormous dark circles. She looks like she’s about to die from exhaustion.

’Wonderful... beautiful... divine...’ No doubt love is blind. Even in this state, she’s still beautiful, but of course, an exhausted Zephyra can’t fully enjoy what I’m going to do to her.

”Servants, get a full restoration potion and send it to Zephyra right now.” I need her to be completely well for all the fun we’ll have.

”Oh... thank you, D-Demon King... I...” Zephyra begins to thank me, but I cut her off.

”Silence, I didn’t tell you to speak.” Zephyra tried to thank me, but I stopped her. I don’t need her gratitude; I need something entirely different.

Soon, one of the village soldiers brings a potion and hands it to Zephyra. The teleportation circle is quite convenient, and it arrives there quickly.

”Varion and Zephyra, do you know what you did wrong?” I ask in a serious and inquisitive tone.

”Y-Yes, Demon King, we failed to deliver the full cargo, but our goddess had...”

”I don’t care. I couldn’t care less about your problems. You failed, and I’m going to collect for that.” Varion seems to be trembling with fear and rage.

”For now... Zephyra can stop producing minerals, go rest and have a good night’s sleep. And as for you, Varion, come to my castle.” With Varion in the castle, my plans can begin.

”See you later, Varion,” I say as I deactivate the crystal ball.

”Does your majesty require anything else?” The servant who told me the amount of minerals asks.

”Yes, tell everyone that Varion must be captured alive. Tell Calypso that I ordered her to help. If he escapes, I’ll kill all those responsible for the escape, so lock him up well.” I speak in a serious tone as I stand up, place the crystal ball on a table, and head to the meeting room.

”Tell Elena to come to the meeting room, along with Thalor and Freya,” I say to the servants as I teleport to the meeting room. I wait a few minutes, and then they arrive.

”Do you need anything, your majesty?” Thalor and Freya ask simultaneously.

”Sit down, we have a lot to discuss.” Soon, the three of them are seated in their respective places.

”To start, Elena, I want an artifact that can prevent sound from propagating, I want an anal plug that eliminates impurities from the body, and I want a very powerful barrier artifact.”

”Understood, Pandora,” Elena confirms, seeming ready to leave as soon as possible.

”Thalor and Freya, I need your help to kill everyone in the dragon village. I don’t want any survivors besides Zephyra. Her father will be captured and kept imprisoned until further notice.”

”As for how you’ll kill everyone... let me think... kill them in the most brutal way possible. Paint the entire floor of that village red, but don’t damage the heads. I want the heads impaled on spears and placed in the village square.”

I’ll do this as a clear warning of what happens to those who fail me, just as Vlad the Impaler impaled thousands of soldiers and civilians to scare his enemies, I’ll do something similar as a warning.

”Understood, your majesty. Do you need anything else?” They ask in a serious tone.

”What else could be good?... For now, the plan is to use a silencing artifact to prevent Zephyra from knowing what’s happening, then the attack will be at night... followed by raising a barrier to prevent escapes, and very violent deaths...”

I wonder what else I can do to show my authority and psychologically affect Zephyra.

Of course, I have plans for Zephyra’s father, but before that, I have to put on a good show in her village. I even wrote a love poem to recite amidst the sea of bodies and blood.

”... What else...” It’s harder to think of something good than I thought, something that could really mark that place as something terrible. What could it be?

”Oh... I just had a great idea...” I’m going to turn the entire area into a truly cursed scene.

”Elena, do we have any item, artifact, or magic that can affect a large area with miasma?” Miasma is, so to speak, an ”element” that naturally arises in places with many deaths, like battlefields.

Miasma attracts monsters and affects the environment, preventing the growth of trees and plants, and also affecting the health of many races.

”Yes, we do, Pandora. Freya knows a spell for that,” Elena confirms.

”Okay, then Freya, you must turn the entire area outside the tribe into a miasma field. Also, use preservation magic to prevent the impaled heads from rotting or being eaten.” I want anyone who arrives at that place, even years later, to see the consequences of failing me.

Furthermore, I will use my abilities to order any monsters in the region to kill any intruders, so the monsters will turn that environment into a true field of death.

”Okay, start doing the things. We’ll do it all tomorrow night, and Elena, take me to the treasure vault.” I want to get some things from the castle’s vault. Besides, I want to give Zephyra a good night’s rest. Today will be her last good night before her life turns into hell for a while.

Depending on how she behaves, her situation may improve... or worsen. If she’s disobedient or tries to escape, I’ll dismember her. I bet she’d look beautiful even in that state.

”Okay, Pandora, follow me.” I’ve never been to the treasure vault, but I’m excited. I want to see Zephyra so much. It will be so much fun.

’I wonder if she likes poems? I hope she likes them more than flowers...’ I walk with Elena through the corridors, thinking about all the fun I’ll have with Zephyra.

’Should I imprison her in a cold, dark dungeon? Or in a nice room... maybe a mix of both? Like a nice room, but without a single ray of sun, with a gloomy appearance... chains are mandatory...’

”Pandora, we’re here. This is where the castle’s treasure vault is,” Elena says as we stand in front of a large gate.

’Wow... this door has more mana than I do...’ It must be very difficult to invade the vault. Soon, Elena uses magic, and the doors open. As we enter, I see what’s inside.

My eyes shine golden, not because I’m greedy, but because there are huge piles of various types of minerals, along with jewels and artifacts everywhere. The very environment seems to glow with a sense of wealth.

The room is so large that I can’t see the walls. It seems to be some kind of separate space, because this is too big to fit inside the castle.

’That’s a lot of gold...’ The economy somehow managed to keep gold valuable, although it was a very difficult process, considering that gold is common.

”Hey, Elena, what’s that sword?” A large blue blade stands out quite visibly.

”It’s the Deepwater Hunter, a living armament that came from Freya’s treasure.”

”So, it’s a weapon with an ego?” I didn’t know the castle had another living weapon besides Violet.

”No, it’s not even a weapon. It’s a living being that simulates a weapon. It’s a treasure because, technically, although it’s still a living being, it’s also a relic,” so it’s not a weapon.

I know that the request for the anal plug is definitely something Kaelith must have, though it gives me a slight jealousy that Zephyra will use something so intimate that Kaelith probably used, although it’s still tolerable.

I start looking through the treasure, not looking for anything specific. I just want to arm myself with something cool.

”What’s that pink ring?” A completely pink ring with some kind of pink diamond.

”It’s something that came from Kaelith. It prevents you from getting ’dirty’ in your case, your majesty, it prevents blood or dust from staining your dress... in Kaelith’s case... well...”

”Disgusting...” I say as I put on the ring. It will be useful to not stain my dress. I want to look beautiful when Zephyra sees me.

Although it gives me a slight shiver to know what Kaelith would use it for. Honestly, I don’t know what’s worse Kaelith having an interest in it... or me knowing exactly what she would use it for.

’Humiliating... degrading... depraved... I think someone needs to put Kaelith through such a heavy sexual experience that she’ll be traumatized... but... is there really such an experience?’ Something to think about.

”And that great axe over there?” A massive axe, much larger than my body, with a vibrant ruby-red color and a black handle. The blade looks like a large steel plate, even bigger than the weapon I used against Elena in the past.

”That axe is the [Devourer of Flesh], a weapon that feeds on the flesh of opponents killed by it, and then heals the user. So, it’s a great weapon to use without having to worry about minor injuries... and it’s quite powerful.”

”I like it... I’ll use it.” I also want to help kill the dragons, so something like that is very good.

’Mana armor... I need to perfect that.’ Armor is useless to me because when I have all my power, no armor will be more resistant than my body.

That’s why mana armor is important to me. It basically creates a layer of mana on the clothing, turning the clothing into a powerful armor, regardless of the material.

This isn’t a Shonen anime where you can receive absurd blows and the clothes still remain. If I keep taking attacks, I’ll end up completely naked, so I need something to solve this problem.

With mana armor, I can even repair general damage to the clothes I’m wearing.

’I’ll have to be careful in the fight... I don’t want tears in the dress before Zephyra sees me... I’ll only take on the weaker opponents... and if I see the clothes are going to be damaged, I’ll back off.’

I continue looking through the various treasure piles, only ending up taking a few more accessories, such as a star necklace that repairs clothing damage, which takes away my concern about dress tears.

A golden bracelet with barrier magic, and an amulet with a useful effect that I’ll also take to put on Zephyra if necessary.
