Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 498: I guess it’s time for me to act too

”So,” Arabel said, addressing everyone present.

”I suggest you stay here overnight and come back in the morning,” she suggested.

”There’s no need to worry about your mother and son. Bera is already there, and nothing threatens them with her presence,” Arabel hurried to reassure Irene, noticing her concern.

”Here, take this,” she said, handing each of them a Soul Crystal.

”And this,” Arabel added, handing them the first volume of the ”Manual to the Path of the Beast Tamer”.

The eyes of all three shone, and they exchanged glances.

”Try to unlock your Soul Space overnight and form your first Beast Souls,” Arabel added, handing them the manual.

”What about me?” Suddenly, a resentful voice rang out. ”Where is my Crystal and why aren’t you taking me into account in all this? I want it too!”

Esma, who also dreamed of taming a Doppelganger, stood aside. When Arabel asked Geminius for permission for Irene, Arslan, and Hailey, she wanted to ask why Arabel hadn’t mentioned her. However, seeing Arabel completely ignoring her presence hurt her feelings greatly.

”Huh?” — Arabel asked, puzzled, surprised by Esma’s request.

All this time, Arabel believed that because Esma had signed a contract with her, she couldn’t sign a contract with a Doppelganger. Based on this, she excluded Esma from her plans.

But now, after hearing Esma’s wish and seeing her offended look, Arabel remembered that Felicia, despite having signed a subordinate contract with Coco, could cultivate along the Path of the Beast Tamer.

It made her think:

”Can Esma also make contracts?”

[Host. Yes, she can.] The System came to the rescue by answering Arabel’s question, which she asked herself.

[As this System mentioned earlier, your path is different from the usual Path of the Beast Tamer. Therefore, this Water Valkyrie that has signed a contract with you can cultivate along the Path of the Beast Tamer and tame the beasts.] Added the System, clarifying the details.

”Oh,” Arabel said, surprised.

”I’m sorry, I’m sorry, big sister,” she quickly apologized, feeling awkward.

”I should have checked with the System earlier.”

The others looked from Arabel to Esma, not quite understanding what was going on.

”Wait a bit,” Arabel asked, and then, quickly using her Soul Force, she hurried to contact Idan through the Lovers’ Plate.

{MBG: Dan, do you have any other Small Low-quality Soul Crystals?}

Arabel had to wait for a while due to the time difference before Idan replied.

{MHG: Yes, there is, I sent them to the same room.}

After reading the message, Arabel immediately noticed three Small Low-quality Soul Crystals that appeared next to the Lovers’ Plate.

Since their territory had inherited all the abilities of their spatial storage, Arabel easily teleported one of the Small Low-quality Soul Crystals into her hands.

”Here, big sister, this is yours,” she said with an awkward smile, handing the Crystal to Esme.

Esma’s offended face instantly brightened up, and she started jumping up and down with joy, like a little girl, which matched her appearance perfectly.

It was difficult for everyone, including Arabel, to imagine Esma as a Diamond-ranked being, let alone the wisdom inherent in a Legendary being. She was too different from the other Limbo women.

”All four of you go and occupy a room on the second floor, try to achieve success overnight,” Arabel said, and then quickly added: ”But don’t occupy the rightmost room.”

Everyone immediately understood what was being said, and a sly smile appeared on their faces. They looked at Arabel, embarrassing her.

”Yes, this is my room, so it’s already occupied,” Arabel openly confirmed.

Although that wasn’t really the case. It’s just that Idan put a Lovers’ Plate in this room, thereby booking it for himself.

Since this room belonged to Idan, Arabel believed that it also belonged to her.

Irene and the others moved up the stairs. They were all eager to begin forming their first Beast Soul.

Since there was only one manual, the four of them had to stay in the same room. The girls didn’t pay attention to it, but Arslan felt a little awkward. However, Irene’s presence among them calmed him down.

Going up the stairs, Esma, smiling slyly, quietly suggested:

”Should we take a look in the right room?”

All three of them looked at her in disbelief.

”What? Aren’t you curious about what little sister is hiding there?”

Irene and Arslan quickly shook their heads, refusing the offer. Hailey, like Esme, was curious, but when she saw the rejection of Irene and Arslan, she also refused.

”Boo, you’re not interesting,” — Esma muttered, following them and giving up on the idea.

The protection of the house prevented them from using Soul Force to look inside the rooms. Only Idan and Arabel, as the owners of the house, could use their abilities until the anti-peeping protection was activated in the rooms.

{MHG: So why do you need additional Small Low-quality Soul Crystals?}

Arabel, left alone downstairs, received a message from Idan on the Lovers’ Plate.

She did not hide the truth and told him about Esme, and also asked Idan to apply to Geminia for permission for Esme to attempt to form a contract with Perfect Doppelgangers.

Idan, like Arabel, was extremely surprised that they ignored Esme. He made a promise to Arabel that he would definitely talk to Geminia about it soon.

Idan himself said that while he was in Limbo, he decided to meet with Alois and Liam, who came to the Temple. He wanted to get advice from them regarding the Path of Mastery.

”As always, Dan doesn’t waste any time.”, — Arabel thought admiringly as she read the messages from Idan. She realized once again that she, too, should act and contribute to the common cause, instead of just waiting for Idan to decide everything for her.

”I guess it’s time for me to act too.”, — Arabel made her decision. She opened the Access Portal and returned to the courtyard of Irene’s House, where the Sphere of Secret Concealment revolved.

By that time, night had already fallen.

Arabel transformed into a Dark Valkyrie and used her concealment ability to hide the Sphere in a spatial ring.

She then contacted Bera through a contract and asked her to look after Aran and his grandmother. After receiving an affirmative answer, Arabel soared into the sky, disappearing into the night capital.

Her goal was the Genoforge Center for Genetic Research and Treatment.
