Chapter 456: Two girls in the kitchen

“Yum, yum, yum,” in the kitchen, two young girls were sitting opposite each other, enjoying the food Arabel had left for them.

“How delicious, it’s just delicious,” Hailey muttered from time to time with her mouth full, not bothering with manners.

The second girl remained silent, but nodded in agreement to Hailey’s every word, sharing her praise.

When Hailey knocked on Aliya’s door, she was in a bad mood. After negotiating with her elders and relaying the couple’s message, she couldn’t find a place for herself. Aliya remembered the couple’s warning and, fearing for her life, kept her mouth shut during interrogations with her elders.

As a result, she disappointed and angered her elders a little, and spent the whole night worrying, not knowing what to expect. Because of the collar around her neck, she couldn’t use her powers, including her Soul Force, to observe what was happening inside the hotel room. She could only see her room with her own eyes.

And so, when the heavenly body, called the sun in this world, began to illuminate him with its rays, suddenly there was a knock-on Aliya’s door.

She shuddered and did not open it immediately.

But the knocking grew more insistent, and she had to obey. Hailey was waiting for her outside the door.

“Are you hungry?” Hailey asked bluntly, without unnecessary greetings.

Aliya frowned; she didn’t like the way this girl was addressing her. After all, her true rank was the fourth, which was called platinum in this world, and she felt that if she possessed her own powers, she would not be inferior to this girl, unlike those strange couple.

To find out something about her surroundings, Aliya nodded.

“Follow me,” Hailey called to her and headed towards the kitchen.

Aliya looked around, trying to spot someone else with her vision, but there was no one in the hallway. A little further down the hall, only part of the living room was visible, and she instinctively sensed that someone was there.

“Don’t you dare go there,” she heard Hailey say.

Hailey said these words, realizing what the couple was doing right now. She didn’t want an outsider to interfere with her new Masters enjoying their privacy. Especially considering that both were in their true forms.

And so they found themselves in the kitchen, where Hailey began to carefully check the food Arabelle had prepared. All the dishes were neatly laid out and covered with appropriate lids.

When Hailey started to open them, a fragrance spread through the kitchen, which immediately hit the noses of both girls.

Hailey’s eyes shone, and her stomach rumbled so loudly that Aliya clearly heard the sound and couldn’t believe her ears. Although she frowned at the smell at first, she soon realized that it was getting more pleasant with each breath, and to her surprise, her own stomach also rumbled.

“How is this possible?” she asked herself.

Ever since she came to this world, the most unpleasant moment for her was the local food. It seemed too meager and very different from the one she was used to in her world. Therefore, she tried not to eat in this world, limiting herself only to the foods she had brought with her.

But for the first time, she really wanted to taste the food prepared by the locals.

Aliya was amazed when she saw that all the food was divided into two portions, as if specially prepared for two.

After exchanging glances, the girls sat down and concentrated on their plates. Hailey couldn’t wait and immediately started eating. After tasting the first dish, she couldn’t stop and devoured the food one by one.

Aliya, seeing Hailey’s enthusiasm for eating, felt curious and decided to try it.

“The aroma is simply amazing, I hope the taste will not disappoint me,” she thought, scooping up a spoonful of rich soup and bringing it to her mouth to take a sip.

As soon as the soup was in her mouth, she felt a whole range of flavors and froze in amazement, opening her eyes wide.

“This, this, this…” her mind, which was experiencing something so incredible for the first time, seemed to freeze.

It was only after a while that she came to her senses and didn’t know what to say. She could still taste the aftertaste, and wanting to experience it again, she scooped up another portion and took a sip. This time, the taste was not as bright as the first time, but she still really liked this dish. Like Hailey, she began to consume her portion one by one.

Aliya couldn’t stop nodding, agreeing with every word of Hailey’s praise for the dishes.

It was her first experience when she liked the local food so much. She stopped rushing and enjoyed every bite, savoring it.

Soon, she noticed the gaze on her. Opening her eyes, she met the predatory gaze of Hailey, who had a strange smile on her face.

Aliya frowned, but then, looking at the dishes in front of Hailey, she saw that they were already empty. And when she looked at her plate, she found that she had only eaten half of it.

Hailey, despite having eaten everything, did not feel satisfied.

Looking around, she didn’t find any other food nearby, and her gaze fell on the dishes in front of Aliya. Watching her leisurely enjoy her meal, a crazy idea came to her mind.

When Arabel and Idan weren’t around, Hailey began to show the same reckless Hailey that she had been hiding from them. A wide smile appeared on her face, and she stared intently at Aliya.

Meanwhile, in the living room, Idan and Arabel continued to enjoy each other’s company, sitting in each other’s arms.

Idan was very pleased to hug Arabel. The warmth of her body and the scent of her hair relaxed him, and for a while he stopped thinking about anything, allowing his mind to rest a little.

Arabel, for her part, was enjoying the moment, listening to Idan’s heartbeat. His heart had been beating at a furious rate before, but now it was beating steadily and calmly. Listening to this sound, she felt at peace.

However, this wonderful moment for them was suddenly disrupted by a loud noise coming from the kitchen.

Idan and Arabel abruptly opened their eyes, looked at each other, and immediately frowned.

Arabel stood up, realizing that their moment of pleasure had been ruined. Idan followed her, and soon the two of them entered the kitchen, where a mess awaited them.

The table and chairs were smashed, and the dishes were in disarray on the floor. Aliya was lying on her back, leaning against the wall, looking at Hailey with resentment and anger. Hailey held the dessert untouched by Aliya in one hand and, looking at her with a wide smile, began to eat.

Idan, looking at the situation, immediately understood what had happened. He could barely contain his smile as he looked at Hailey.

At the same time, Arabel’s eyes glittered dangerously.

Hailey, who was enjoying the dish, suddenly felt a wave of murderous intent that descended on her and trembled. She looked back and met Arabel’s gaze, and goosebumps ran through her body.

Soon, a girl’s scream could be heard from the kitchen for a moment, as if she was being killed.
