Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 465: Inside the Barrier

At the main base, located near the mysterious barrier, many militaries and scientists were working to unravel its secret. On behalf of the Federation Government and the Awakened Association.

This is the first time such an anomaly has been detected so close to the capital of the Federation. But despite all efforts, none of the scientists and Awakened Ones could give a clear explanation of what this barrier was and what was hidden beyond it. Everyone only knew what had caused it, but nothing else.

Once again, when they were analyzing the same data, trying to find a clue, an intrusion warning appeared on one of the monitors. An alarm went off throughout the base. Four creatures were discovered at once, which were very close to the barrier.

All of this happened at the very moment when Arabel changed her Dark Valkyrie bloodline to the Ice Valkyrie bloodline. With the Dark Valkyrie’s concealment ability gone, they found themselves exposed to the military’s surveillance system.

[Ding! Ownerless territory discovered]

[Use land ownership rights to claim this Ownerless territory?]

[Yes]_[No]

“The choice is obvious. Of course, yes!” replied Idan and Arabel in unison to the System notification.

It was the first time Irene had seen her younger brother and Arabel in their Spirit form up close. For Arslan, it was his first experience meeting them in this guise.

Their Systems were not idle and immediately provided them with information about what this Form of Spirit was. However, after listening to the explanations of their Systems, Irene and Arslan did not feel very well.

On the one hand, they were very happy, but they could not suppress some envy, which began to arise and intensified every time they learned something new about their loved ones.

They felt like they lived in different worlds. Although everyone had their own system, Idan and Arabel’s system seemed like a trickster to them, as if it violated the rules of the game.

[Ding! The land ownership has been presented. From that moment on, this Ownerless territory became the personal territory of the Hosts.]

Idan and Arabel didn’t fully understand what this private territory represented, but they knew one thing for sure: everything beyond the barrier now belonged to them.

Without waiting for another notification, they touched the barrier again, and this time it didn’t stop them anymore. Their hands easily passed through the barrier.

“Ha ha ha!”— unable to contain his joy, Idan laughed, and Arabel followed his example.

However, they were in no hurry to go inside, because Irene and Arslan were with them, and they hadn’t forgotten about them yet.

Turning to them, they noticed their sullen looks and could not understand what was happening to them.

“Woo-woo-woo!” purred Coco, who was sitting next to them, pointing her paws to the side.

Looking where she was pointing, they saw many creatures approaching them.

“We’ve been spotted!” Arabel exclaimed to Idan.

Without wasting any time, they appeared in front of Irene and Arslan and, grabbing them, without giving them time to say anything, rushed into the barrier.

Since this place had become their territory, they were confident that those they would allow in would enter. Therefore, without letting their loved ones go, they went inside, and their expectations were fulfilled. Irene and Arslan broke through the barrier without any resistance and found themselves inside it next to them.

The military and awakened ones noticed the silhouettes of people who, instead of crashing into the barrier, easily walked inside without encountering any resistance.

Believing that they could follow suit, they tried to get inside, but they all clattered into an insurmountable obstacle and were thrown back by the force of the barrier.

Those who had not yet tried to get inside froze in horror, watching those who had already failed, and trying to figure out who the four creatures who had been able to overcome the barrier were.

Soon, this news spread quickly through the main base and then beyond, causing a storm of discussion and speculation.

After Idan, Arabel, Irene and Arslan broke through the barrier, they saw an amazing sight.

They found themselves in the middle of an icy forest covered with snow and permeated with the element of ice.

Looking up, they saw a swirl of light and darkness above them, which replaced each other with elusive speed. Because of this, it seemed to Idan and the others that day and night alternated in the blink of an eye, creating the illusion that time was passing very quickly here.

Arabel and Idan, as soon as they were inside the barrier, immediately began to absorb the energy of the elements of ice and fire.

The energy concentration was significantly lower than it was that day, during their battle, but even this level easily kept their Spirit Form active, providing them with all the energy they needed.

Idan and Arabel, admiring the surrounding scenery, soared up, taking Irene and Arslan with them. They screamed in surprise as they were lifted into the air.

Idan and Arabel just laughed out loud at their reaction, which displeased their relatives.

After rising into the sky, they were finally able to see the entire area inside the barrier.

At the very center of the barrier, on top of a hill, there was a vast, unblemished area in the shape of a circle. Despite its impressive size, there was nothing on it but bare ground, devoid of vegetation.

Two elements, fire and ice, revolved around this territory with noticeable speed, forming a ring. However, unlike the central area, where emptiness reigned, the ring formed by these two elements was rich in vegetation, trees, and even small ponds.

The longer the couple looked at this amazing sight, the more it seemed to them that this ring represented the seasons. The centers of the fire and ice elements symbolized summer and winter, and their junctions, where one replaced the other, represented spring and autumn.

“The change of day and night, the seasons…” Idan whispered softly, looking at the world around him.

“It’s like a miniature world of its own,” Arabel exclaimed, catching on to his thoughts.

Irene and Arslan, who were watching all this, also nodded, agreeing with Arabel’s words.

Indeed, everything seemed to be a small, but completely independent world, fenced off from the rest of the world by a barrier.

While they were enjoying the beauty of the scenery, Idan and Arabel received a message from their System.

[Ding! With the acquisition of land ownership, the World stops supporting the barrier.]

[The barrier’s current energy will last until the Third Disaster arrives.]

[After the Third Disaster, the Hosts will have to take on the responsibility of maintaining the barrier with the necessary energy to maintain its functionality.]

[Ding! If the barrier collapses, the balance of all four elements will be disrupted, and the energy of all elements will begin to flow out and dissipate.]

[After the barrier is restored, if it is collapsed, it will take a considerable time to return all the functions and stability of the elements to the current level. In this regard, the system strongly recommends that the barrier not be collapsed.]

This unexpected message from their System caught Idan and Arabel off guard.

They were already confused after receiving this territory and were still trying to figure out how everything works here. But the System’s words, instead of answering their questions, only added new ones.

Idan was about to ask the System to explain everything when they received the following message, which confused them even more.

[Ding! With the acquisition of a personal territory, this System offers Hosts to combine the core of their spatial storage with this territory, replacing the destroyed storage space with this territory.]
