Chapter 484: Return to the territory and surprise

”Why is that? Why did you become a Dark Valkyrie instead of a Water Valkyrie?” complained Esma, standing in front of Arabel, and almost cried, feeling betrayed.

Everyone who was in the courtyard of Irene’s house at that moment, including Arabel herself, could not understand whether Esma was serious or just pretending.

”I’m sorry, I’m sorry, big sister, I couldn’t control which bloodline I would receive.” Finally, Arabel had to apologize and try to justify herself by using a mental link so that those who shouldn’t hear it wouldn’t find out.

”There’s a high chance that the next Valkyrie bloodline I’ll receive will be the Water Valkyrie bloodline.” Arabel assured Esma, convinced that this was likely to happen. After all, besides being close to the elements of ice and darkness, she also had an affinity for the element of water.

”Are you sure? Aren’t you lying?”, Esma finally perked up.

”I’m sure of it, Big sister, I’m convinced of it,” — Arabel repeated.

Only then did Esma calm down, brightened and smiled. Seeing all this, Arabel found it difficult to recognize Esme as the wisdom of a being of Legendary rank.

After calming Esma down, Arabel greeted Irene and her younger brother. Then she looked at the other three, and when she saw that they were all right and that they had not caused Irene and the others any trouble during their absence, Arabel felt satisfied.

Arabel took out the Secret Concealment Sphere, attracting everyone’s attention. Essora and her younger brother Sora reacted especially strongly, as they immediately felt attracted to the artifact.

By hiding everything that was happening in the courtyard of Irene’s house with the help of an artifact, Arabel opened a new Access Portal with a wave of her hand, leading directly to their territory.

”Okay, come on, feel free to come in,” Arabel said as soon as the portal was created.

”What is it? And where does it lead to?” Esma asked curiously, coming closer and carefully examining the portal.

”You’ll see,” — Arabel replied shortly.

”Come on, come on, come on in, don’t hold everyone up,” — Arabel urged her. Esma, a little offended by Arabel’s secrecy, entered the portal without further ado.

Irene and Arslan exchanged glances, and both immediately had a hunch about where this portal might lead. They were shocked, even the mere thought of the possibility surprised them.

”Irene, Arslan, what are you waiting for, come in,” Arabel said. ”Don’t worry about Aran and your mother, Bera will stay and look after them while you’re gone.”

”Good.”, — Irene nodded, reassured by Arabel’s words, and was the first to step through the portal. Arslan, glancing at his older sister, followed Irene and entered the portal next.

”Now you,” Arabel said to the trio of Essora, her younger brother, and Milla.

”Where are you taking us? And what do you really want from us?” Essora asked Arabel before entering the portal.

”We’ll talk about it later,” Arabel replied. ”Now come in.”

Essora looked into Arabel’s eyes without fear, trying to catch her true intentions, but finding nothing suspicious, she entered the portal with her younger brother.

”Where’s Ethan?” — Milla asked before entering the portal. ”Is he there?”

”Heh, maybe.”, — Arabel replied evasively.

Milla sighed and stepped into the portal, having no other options. Even if she wanted to, she couldn’t escape. She still didn’t know what they wanted from her.

Arabel was the last to enter the portal, leaving the Sphere in the courtyard of Irene’s house.

When Arabel stepped through the portal and found herself on the lawn in front of her new home, she noticed that everyone who had just entered was frozen in disbelief, looking at the building. That’s what it seemed to her at first, until she realized where everyone was looking.

Following their gazes, she saw a strange picture: Hailey was lying in the middle of the lawn, and an unusual little creature with three black tentacles wrapped around her, which held her in a strange position. And next to her ran a little fox with a fluffy tail, which tickled Hailey with its tail, causing her to laugh hysterically and cry at the same time.

After Idan left, Hailey, out of curiosity, approached the two cubs to wait for the others. But she couldn’t even imagine that she would be dragged into their game first, and then the second black fox, turning into an octopus-like creature, would tie her up in a strange and awkward position, and the other would start tickling her.

No matter how hard Hailey tried to free herself, she found she couldn’t. The little octopus-shaped creature’s grip was not only firm, but also possessed a strange ability that made it difficult for her to even move.

At first, she was a little funny, but over time, and it’s been a long time, Hailey became unbearable. Besides laughing, she began to cry and beg to be released, but the two animals did not listen to her words, bringing her to tears.

”What the hell are you doing to her?” Arabel said loudly, attracting the attention of two beasts who were too busy having fun.

After hearing his mistress’s words and feeling her anger through their contract, Octo hurried to let Hailey go and took the form of a dark fox, which surprised others a lot. He immediately hesitated, realizing his guilt and fear of Arabel’s anger.

However, Coco, on the contrary, was completely unperturbed. She had a big, satisfied smile on her face, leaving no trace of remorse.

Arabel was very displeased with this.

”Coco is getting more and more cocky”, — She thought anxiously, staring intently at Coco.

Meanwhile, having freed herself, Hailey covered her face with her hands and began to cry.

She wanted to disappear, to sink into the ground.

She had never felt so humiliated before. Even Arabel’s punishments didn’t evoke as much emotion in her as the taunts of the two little beasts.

Considering that she already had some of the blood of the proud dragons flowing in her, it was especially painful.

Hailey stood up and, ignoring the gathered crowd, ran into the house. When she found the first guest room on the ground floor, she locked herself in there, trying to hide from everyone.

Arabel, watching her go, just sighed. She did not stop Hailey and forbid her to enter the house.
