Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 494: Taking the Arrow away from yourself

Arslan’s request for Milena’s help awakened a vaguely familiar feeling in Idan, and he immediately realized what was coming next. Less than five seconds later, his fears were confirmed — Idan heard the familiar notification sound from the System.

[Ding! A task has been received.]

[Having completed the task of rescuing the awakened ones who were abducted by outsiders, you, the Hosts, also saved the Awakened Golden Rank Milena Orleans. However, after a while you found out that the condition of the Awakened One you saved leaves much to be desired. Once you’ve saved someone, you have to make sure that that person is in good health and well-being.]

[Task: to find out the current condition of Milena Orleans and, if necessary, provide her with assistance. The reward will depend on the difficulty of completing the task.]

The System, which had not been giving tasks to Idan and Arabel lately, finally decided to please them with a new task.

”Ehh...” sighed Idan heavily, already anticipating what would happen next. His sigh attracted the attention of Arslan, who was waiting impatiently for his answer.

”Is something wrong?” asked Arslan.

Idan did not immediately answer, but looked at his future brother-in-law and smiled.

”Well, Arslan, get ready. I won’t explain myself to your sister. You’re going to tell her everything, everything you just told me,” Idan said.

”Huh?” — Arslan was perplexed when he heard Idan’s words.

In less than a few seconds, the door to the house opened, and Arabel appeared on the threshold with a smile on her face—a smile that both boys knew well.

”Well, well, what are you talking about here?” she asked, leaving the house and staring intently at Idan.

”Ask your younger brother, it’s all because of him,” Idan turned the arrow from himself to Arslan.

Arabel glanced at her younger brother and noticed his awkward smile.

Arabel was followed by Irene, Hailey, and the other women, attracted by her sudden departure.

Idan quickly examined them, but did not see Geminia among them.

”Where is Geminia?” - he asked.

”It’s been two hours, and a portal suddenly appeared and threw her out of here,” Arabel replied without taking her eyes off Arslan.

”Oh, already?” wondered Idan, realizing how quickly time had passed.

He stood up, straightened his clothes, and walked over to Arabel.

”Belle, aren’t you the eldest between the two of you?” Idan asked, gently hugging her, ignoring everyone else.

”Of course, I’m the eldest,” she said with confidence, slightly embarrassed by Idan’s act in front of everyone.

Arabel was unwilling to give up her place to the elder Arslan, despite the fact that due to the time difference between the worlds, he had become more than a year older than her.

”Talk to him like an older sister,” Idan asked. ”Trust me, he has something that will interest you.”

”Besides, you will finally learn about your brother’s true relationship with Milena from himself,” he added at the end through a mental link so that Irene would not hear him yet.

”Really?” said Arabel.

”Of course,” with these words, Idan kissed her quickly on the lips and then released her.

The small crowd gasped at this fleeting display of affection between them.

”Well, I have to go,” Idan said, opening the Access Portal.

”Where are you going?” asked Arabel, surprised by Idan’s unexpected action.

”I have something to discuss with Geminia, so I’m going back to Limbo,” he replied.

”What about the task?” Arabel asked through a mental link.

”I’m stuck in Limbo until tomorrow evening and won’t be able to return. You can try to complete this task yourself or wait for me,” Idan said.

”Ah, I almost forgot. I’ll bring the Lovers’ Plate back here from Limbo. Use it if you need me,” Idan remembered that with the integration of the spatial storage core with the territory, they could use the Lovers’ Plate artifact to communicate with each other again.

”Oh, I completely forgot about it,” Arabel was confused, but then she nodded, agreeing with his words. ”Well, it will be useful to us in the near future.”

After that, Idan did not forget to give Arabel the three Small Low-quality Soul Crystals that had already been created by that time. He asked her to give them to Arslan, Irene, and Hailey so that they could unlock their Soul spaces and form their first Beast Souls.

However, Arabel needed to catch another little scoundrel first.

Idan, while sorting through Erza’s things earlier, gave Coco the first volume of the Manual ”Path of the Beast Tamer”, asking her to temporarily keep it.

”Master, Sierra Lucinda, I’ll meet you in Limbo soon,” Idan said.

And finally, after saying goodbye to Irene and Hailey, he returned to Limbo.

”Irene, Hailey, please keep Master and the older sisters company. I need to talk to my little brother,” Arabel told the girls.

”Okay, leave it to us,” Irene immediately agreed.

She herself couldn’t wait to continue interacting with these powerful women. In the short time she spent in their company, they became her idols and the goals she aspired to.

Hailey still felt awkward and a bit of a stranger among these powerful women.

”Master and elder sisters, if you have any questions about our world and home, please ask Irene and Hailey. They will answer all your questions.

Also, if you need any things from our world that are similar to the ones that Dan and I brought you last time, make a list and give it to Hailey. I’ll try to get them for you tomorrow,” Arabel reminded, remembering that now that women have access to their territory, it has become much easier to supply them with things from their world.

”Dan and I have given you full access to our territory, so you can come here anytime you have time,” Arabel added with a smile at the end.

”Thank you, little sister, for reminding me about this. I really liked some of the things you brought last time,” Sierra said, and Milica and Lucinda nodded in agreement.

”Let’s go inside so as not to interfere with their conversation,” Irene suggested, and everyone except Arabel and Arslan entered the house.

Leaving her master and her older sisters in the care of Irene and Hailey, Arabel was finally able to pay attention to Arslan.

”Let’s sit down and talk,” she suggested, ready to listen carefully to her brother, just as Idan had asked.

When Idan appeared in Limbo, inside the Temple, next to the Access Portal he had installed, he was pleasantly surprised to see Geminia standing and watching him.

He thought that she had probably already left, and he would have to call her.

”Geminia,” Idan called. ”I thought you were probably already gone.”

”I had a strange feeling that you’d be following me soon,” she confessed. ”And as I see it, I was not mistaken.”

Idan scratched his head in embarrassment.

”I wanted to discuss something with you,” he confessed.

”And about what?” Geminia asked, although she already had a rough idea of what Idan wanted from her.

”Tell me, Geminia, the doppelgangers — I mean not only the perfect ones, but also the talking and mute ones. Do they know anything about construction?”
