Chapter 466: Personal territory

[Ding! With the acquisition of a personal territory, this System offers Hosts to combine the core of their spatial storage with this territory, replacing the destroyed storage space with this territory.]

“Huh?” exclaimed Idan and Arabel in amazement upon hearing the System’s suggestion.

Their System has just offered them to replace the destroyed space of their family spatial storage with a newly acquired personal territory.

“System, did you know all this from the very beginning?” asked Idan, realizing the strangeness of what was happening.

[No, Host. This System didn’t know. However, this System had assumptions about this. Only now, when the Hosts have claimed this territory, which was intended for you by the World itself as a reward for completing the “World Task”, this System has confirmed that this personal territory is compatible with the core of your spatial storage and can be used as a replacement for the destroyed space.]

Before Idan and Arabel could ask the next question, the System continued.

[This is the reason why this System suggested that you temporarily postpone the restoration of your spatial storage through the “Trade” function and look for an opportunity in your own world and in the world of Junonia].

By this point, Idan and Arabel already knew that during the battle with Erza and the Guardian of Light, their own world came to their aid, creating for them an almost endless source of the elements of fire, ice, light and darkness.

At first, they were very surprised by this discovery — the realization that their world also has its own mind. But they quickly accepted it, remembering the existence of Limbo’s mind.

“So this territory was originally intended for us?” asked Idan, taking a deep breath and exhaling. The realization of this fact couldn’t help but shock them.

[Your world has helped you in the fight against outsiders who have repeatedly violated its laws by changing them. The world cannot easily return everything that has been changed to its current level of growth, and it cannot simply leave this territory unattended. Therefore, as a reward, the World has granted you the right to own it, as it created it specifically for you to support you in battle.]

Irene and Arslan had been silently watching Idan and Arabel all this time, hovering in the air behind them. They saw that the couple was busy with something, and suspected that they were communicating with their system, because they noticed how their mood changed several times in a short time, but they did not utter a single word.

[By giving you this territory to use, the World expects you to protect it and the World itself from encroachments from outsiders from other worlds].

These words weighed heavily on the shoulders of Idan and Arabel.

Until recently, they didn’t think much about the safety of the world. They were primarily concerned about their own lives and the lives of their loved ones.

But a recent incident where they could have died if the World hadn’t come to their aid forced them to rethink their priorities. And now, standing here, they couldn’t ignore this problem.

Especially considering that the World has granted them the right to own this territory.

“Nothing has really changed,” Idan thought, drawing Arabel’s attention. “Before, we only cared about ourselves because we were weak and trying to survive. Now that we have the strength to stand up for ourselves and help others, we can’t just watch our home, our world being destroyed.”

“You’re right,” Arabel said, agreeing with his thoughts. If it wasn’t for the World, they wouldn’t be standing here.

Noticing the glances of Irene and Arslan, Idan, taking Arabel by the hands, flew to the center of the territory. There he landed neatly and, undoing his transformation, assumed his true form, removing the Ghost mask.

Irene, seeing how much her younger brother’s appearance had changed, froze in place. For a moment, she even blushed slightly, but quickly pulled herself together.

Even Arslan was very surprised to see Idan’s new appearance.

And when her older sister reversed her transformation and took off her Ghost mask, Arslan, just like Irene, froze in disbelief, looking at her sister’s beauty.

“System, could you show us what our personal territory is and what rights we have?” Idan asked the system, leaving Irene and Arslan perplexed.

Idan and Arabel were completely delighted with the information the System provided them about their personal territory.

“Unbelievable!” — Arabel exclaimed, unable to believe what she was seeing.

“System, what happens to this territory if we combine it with the core of our spatial storage?” asked Idan.

[Host. Since this territory is closely connected to your world, everything you see now, including its location, will remain unchanged. When combined successfully, almost all the functions that were available in your spatial storage will be added to this list.]

“Huh?”

I would like to express my gratitude to those who give gifts, power stones and golden tickets. Your support allows me to stay motivated and continue working on the book.
