CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1936: Chapter 1944: You Too

Harry Little Money made another move, directly snapped the memory card and threw it at the foot of the paparazzi.

”Send it to Public Security,” James Carter turned to his assistant and said, ”You and Harry take him over first, Jane and I will come over later.”

The stalking incident involving Jane Sampson still needs further confirmation. It’s also necessary to know whether this paparazzo is a professional or hired specifically to lurk around here.

In a society governed by law, even though everyone despises paparazzi immensely, we cannot personally assault them.

James Carter and Coco Edwards went back to find Jane Sampson, and Jane had already changed her clothes and was waiting for news inside the room.

Seeing the two enter, Jane Sampson immediately stood up and asked, ”How’s the situation outside?”

”Caught a paparazzo who took some photos, but Harry snapped all the memory cards,” Coco Edwards said. ”Judging by what was on his memory card, he’s been lurking around for several days and has now been sent to the police station.”

”We don’t know if he’s the one you felt was stalking you yesterday, so you should pack up. I’ll go ask the director for leave, and then we’ll go to the police station and explain your situation to the police, so they can intervene and help investigate,” James Carter said. ”We don’t have the right to interrogate people privately, so we need the police’s help.”

Jane Sampson agreed, put on her mask and hat, slung her purse, and went to find the director with Coco Edwards and James Carter.

The director already knew about the paparazzi incident, so Jane only had to say a word, and the director waved her away in agreement.

The three of them then got into the film crew’s car and headed to the nearest Public Security Bureau.

Upon arrival, Harry and James Carter’s assistant were already there, filing a report at the police station.

The paparazzo sat on a chair, held by a police officer, looking quite smug as if he was very familiar with such situations.

”Sister Jane, the police said this paparazzo often gets brought to the Public Security Bureau. He just squats around our film and TV town area taking secret photos and exchanges them for money to make a living,” Harry said. ”This time, our film crew was filming here, and he had just returned from his hometown a few days ago. Knowing that you and Mr. Carter were in the crew, he spent quite a bit of time squatting around our crew.”

”Was it you stalking me yesterday?” Jane Sampson asked.

The paparazzo looked up with a sly gaze at Jane Sampson, snorted, but did not answer.

”Judging by the camera’s content, it should be him,” James Carter’s assistant said, ”We can see many photos of you on the camera.”

”Including us getting in the car yesterday noon from the film set and Sister Jane, your photos from the outdoor scenes yesterday. Some were taken from a distance, and others were taken very close,” Harry replied.

”Are you sure he’s not hired by anyone?” James Carter was concerned about this.

”He shouldn’t be. We’ve seen him several times and detained him numerous times. See, there are all his detention records here.” A police officer next handed the records for James Carter to look at. ”So, he shouldn’t be hired by anyone.”

At this time, the paparazzo suddenly spoke.

”In my line of work, I take whatever business comes my way. When there’s business, I do business. When there isn’t, I just squat around to find some business to do,” the paparazzo shrugged and turned to look at Jane Sampson.

With an arrogant tone, he said, ”As for photographing you, if you think I’m hired by someone, then I am hired by someone. If you think I was lucky to run into a big brand, then it’s just my luck running into you.”
